FWIW, Ben Johnson has only been an OC since 2022. What has me unworried is Dan saying "yeah I expect to lose them both" in a carefree comment. I think he's poised to replace them already and I do expect it to be pretty seemless. I just remember him explaining how he chose the Special Teams coach. He seems to really have a grasp on the available coaches and who to pursue.
I honestly feel like there's an opportunity to actually improve. At least on defense.

One of the upsides to all of this is that our offense can damn near run itself as long as its not pulling a cheddar bob (looking at you jamo throw) so a lot of proven coordinators would be chomping at the bit to take the restrictor plate off this offense so to speak so id say theres a few choices we have and we could actually do just as well or even better if we get someone thats less about trick plays and more flat out playing bully ball

Of this is about how he went about leaving the Lions to a hated rival, they the fact that he left. The leaving occurs less than 24 hrs after the loss with his staff already partially filled. It leads to speculation as to how focused he was
Because you don’t put together a staff complete with signed contracts less than 2 days after our loss! That is why most people are pissed off
