I like Ross Tucker, I listen to the kid every day. He's very knowledgeable. But I can't tell you how surprised I am you had him on the show. This dude does NOT like the Lions. In fact, I swear I can hear him laugh at us under his breath whenever Lions are mentioned. The guy craps on Detroit even when they're favored. I gotta say, I'm disappointed in you, Matt, for having him on, especially this week. I'm sure he acquiesced because it gives him some face time. He used you, man. Your expression throughout the interview says it all.

I will admit that I really didn't know who Ross Tucker is, but I thought in this stint with Dery, that he was fair to both the Lions and the Rams. He gave us our props. Maybe on other shows or his podcast he isn't as generous towards Detroit, but I give him credit for praising the Lions.
Ross is ok. Put some ointment on the rash he gave your sensitive ass.

They beat the Chiefs 21-20 just like the Lions did. I'd say these teams are pretty evenly matched. It's going to be a good game.

The Rams over under before the season was 5 wins. This was supposed to be a rebuild year for the Rams. The fact they made the playoffs and found 5 legitimate rookie NFL starters with late picks this season is amazing. The season is already a huge success. The Lions are stacked with high drafted talent and should win this game. It in no way shows that Goff is better than Stafford, because he's not. The Rams will be one of the Super Bowl favorites next year.
Remember Stafford has arm however he is not mobile as a QB the LIONS D must RATTLE Stafford PLUS the problem SNUB on St Brown &:Goff WILL play a role. The Rams are going into a hornets nest

Keys to this game : control and time consuming offense drives . That keeping Stafford and the Rams offense off the field. Defensively: we need to contain at least one of the Rams receivers. If we can get to Stafford , history tells us that he has a tendency to force the ball which turns into turnovers. The honey moon is over , he’s been out of Detroit for 3 years now . Dude as a Rams fan I really hope the Lions are focusing on as much nonsense as you are. You can’t sit there and complain about the Stafford story line, and then proceed to put that topic front and centre…I can promise you one thing- irrespective of what Kelly is talking about this week, McVay and the Rams are certainly focussed on X’s & O’s. Most of the Rams were not on the team when “the Trade” went down. They will not be distracted and I believe they will leave Ford Field with a win. I say this with love.
