Shaqs ego is bigger than his head. Starting to get annoying.
Starting?
He has always been annoying
How does Shaq bullying old ass Barkley show us that he can play in the NFL?
Shaq isn’t the brightest person
I don't think Shaq 'bullies' Barkley. They go back and forth, usually at the same time. But Charles gives as good as he gets.
I tend to disagree with Charles in general. There are some md-size guys, like Ant and some others, that I think could probably play skill positions in the NFL, offensive or defensive. I do not think Austin Reeves could play in the NFL.
One vicious hit from someone like Micah Parsons will smack an NBA player out of thinking he's made for the NFL.
Could of picked over 50 players that hit harder than Micah Parsons, who's a finesse pass rusher.
Aaron Donald.
@@billysummers1616 have you taken a hit from Micah before? But fine. How about Ray Lewis in his prime?
Miles Garrett…
Who’s to say the nba player would be taking hits from parsons? I could see a few nba players being a decent cb/safety. And imagine a guy like Zion on the defensive line. Heck I bet some guys could make a team for punt returns or as a long snapper, the shooting skills could translate
shaqs ego is wild
NFL players would do unspeakable things to Shaq’s knees if he played football
Basketball players these days sit out over a sprained baby toe 😂
“Neck pain” “back discomfort” “personal reasons” some of them act like they’re made of glass 💀
Imagine a whole defensive line flopping
ikr, a lot of them don't have the mental fortitude to take those hard hits. A lot of them cry from a little touch foul.
Shaq is really annoying sometimes.

Damn Shaq why you gotta butt in let Chuck get his point across
Shaq seems to have a narcissistic complex about him.
Very true
Dude I just said that. Lol The way he told Jokic he didn’t vote for him. Hes becoming a bigger duche.
Seems?
Players think they can box also
Poor poor Nate !
What I love most about Chuck, he just tells it like it is with no ego. Spot on. Most NBA players would break like glass. Just a completely different sport and body type to take that punishment.
How does tackling someone who says they couldn’t play football help Shaq’s case 😂
He just wanted to tackle Charles 😂
Shaq is delusional 57% of the time
Probably more than that, Shaq is fairly insecure about almost everything.
80%
We are talking about a league known for flopping and being soft. Come on guys, we all know one good hit and they are done.
If I remember correctly, shaq played football once and quit because of the hitting. So did Charles
People don’t realize football players are a different breed of toughness.
You have be psychotic to play football
Does Shaq think he'd be the only 300+ Lb. player on the football field???
chuck is right the NBA is hella soft
Yea but the NFL soft as shyt too now
They'd still beat yo ass so whos really soft

Shaq bruh youre one of the people who cant make it 😭 youre too tall
literally, bro would get destroyed, like bro you were too big for NBA players but the NFL got some big boys that would fold him
Once again, Shaq being sensitive 🙄
Austin can't even handle Patrick Beverly, how is he going to handle a 300 lb monster running at him
Shaq is sooo insecure. I’m surprised those around him have not told him this, it’s like he’s surrounded by ‘yes men’. It’s very childish bully like insecurity. He always wants to be the toughest , baddest n best and is more than willing to trash others not involved and attack their character to get his point across.
In Shaqs delusional head he could play in the NFL at 7’1 .We’re talking the same Shaq that hated staying in shape. Ya ok Bro
Someone REAL in his life needs to talk to him. I love Shaq , We all love Shaq !!!! but he needs to quit acting like this. It’s embarrassing , I’m literally embarrassed for him talking about this
A secure, confident man that knows he’s great lifts others up , stays humble and protects those being bullied
This is spot on. He acts like the world's biggest pussy and he's a scary mofo smh
Shaq's capstone course for his EdD was looking at humor and aggressiveness in leadership styles. It's clear to me that he found an idea he liked and latched onto it as some sort of universal truth. Because his humor often puts other people down, and he's almost always aggressive with his comments. He thinks it makes him a leader. It makes him look like a tool.
Steph is 6’4 190lbs. A QB weighs more than that
He's 6'2", actually.
We got NBA players missing weeks for bruised toes. You really think they are going to survive the NFL?
Anthony Edwards would
Shaq just wanted an excuse to tackle Barkley to the ground 😂
I see what you’re doing
Shaq really needs to shut up sometimes. He has a really issue with letting people speak if he disagrees.
He's been especially bad about that this year
Shaq might have been one of the strongest people in the NBA physically, but the dude is the most weak minded and sensitive player I have ever seen.
He’s in his feeling cuz his ex called him out in her new book
@@spunkdragon2018That's not the case at all. Shaq agreed with everything she said in her book.
Shaq Loves to talk about how dominating he is because of his size; but football is a totally different animal, physically and mentally. Shaq is to MACHO about everything, it's becoming very annoying.
Not football, Sumo wrestling. He was in training for it for most of his career.
Shaq would have made the NFL if he dedicated to football.
Dude shaqs knees would be gone in 4 plays
Exactly! His ego is so out of control.. he is silly
If your on a NBA court and you don't belong you'll have a really bad game. If your on an NFL field and you don't belong you'll get seriously injured or knocked TF out. Thats the difference.
Fawk yeah what are you hitting baseballs or somethin? Home runnin' and shiznit.
@@SeanDonapel Tss Tss home run why don’t ya hit a apartment run o sumthin Tss
Attribute wise, Rivers is right about some of the NBA players being able to play. Now having the mentality to play is a different conversation...
Is Shaq on his period?
Always has been
Hes in his feeling cuz his ex wrote a book calling him out
Stop it. NBA players are to soft
Them 5ft10 safety gone turn shaq knee into jello
Every play in the NFL is like a fight, and NBA players can't fight for 💩
The NFL is soft now too. They may as well have flags on. They don't take or give nearly as many hits as they used to. NBA and NFL players are babied
Anyone can play football but being in the NFL is different man 😂
Shaq a big guy but I saw him get tackled into a Christmas tree man yo clumsy ass couldn't play football
Shaq, as always, think his size is the only advantage he needs for everything he does in life. Why am I not surprised...
Have you ever seen an o lineman?
Shaq is too tall for football players would be chopping him going for his knees
Shaq has become mister very sensitive
Shaq thinks tackling Charles is = playing football?

Even lebron quit cause he said they hit too hard after high school.
NBA literally had to make a rule to force their players to not load manage. A wet puddle has them injured for a season, they wouldn’t survive a quarter in football

Neither can deal for different reasons, nba players can't deal with the physicality and nfl players not gonna deal with the constant running back and forth, in the nfl you run..stop,run...stop, in the nba you run and run and run some more.
nba players get hurt running..
Yeah. They run way differently to NFL players.
What do you expect?

Austin rivers crazy for saying this 😅. Imagine Wemby or Kevin Durant playing in the NFL. They gonna get folded.
Maybe Zion, but he is injury prone in the NBA so Imagine how many injuries he would get the NFL.
Did he say all or some?
Shaq in his prime was one of the strongest, biggest NBA players. He wouldn't last in the NFL though before his body broke down after 2-3 seasons. It's way too physical - he'd probably end up trying to fight people because of some "hard" hits.
Ad needed a wheelchair from an open hand grazing his forehead and LeBron falls down like a goat that gets scared in the fields.
Of course Shaq would get offended 😂 Only Zion would make it in the NFL and he’s Shaq’s baby

kinda disagree with what you are alluding to.. people say the same thing with ohtani.... its the mindset of coaches these days.. kids are doing single sports year round.. specialized coaching.. they don't get a chance to go play baseball, football, soccer during different part of the seasons.. they don't get a chance to round out their athleticism..
In the NFL there is no such thing a load management like the NBA.
Shag will become a Shaqtin a fool star in the NFL..
Shag lol
Every elite pro athlete usually is a cross-over from their youth - they all believe they could have made it pro in all the sports they once did 😂
Youth Sports has changed, a lot. The high potential guys are playing one sport all year round
NBA is so soft you got fouls for bad breath not to mention if they touch you NFL is rough game
The number that can make that transition is not high. Its even lower if NFL players tried to crossover to NBA
It would be 6’4-6’8 players exclusively in wideout/corner roles, maybe tight ends obviously. Less contact driven positions where they aren’t in the trenches. No NBA player can hang in the trenches. I don’t think any NFL player could hang in the NBA though. If they could, they would. Why make $100m and get brain trauma when you’ll make more being a role player. Most NFL players will struggle to meet the height and hand eye coordination skillset
@@deadprecidents well said I agree. Players that play professional football are right where they need to be and those that play professional basketball are where need to be. If you can play both professionally pretty good you are truly skillfully blessed
The only people who have been able to play both are freak, generational athletes...and, even then, they either don't play both for long or are only really good at one.
Its hard to have that willingness to get hit at full speed by 250lb plus grown men on almost a daily basis if you are used to balling and rarely getting contact.
I can see most taller NBA pgs playing WR in the NFL. Height, hands, hand-eye coordination.
Running with pads and a helmet on is different. And even wide receivers get hit. NBA players don't like getting touched
Oh plz! These fragile nba players wont be able to flop their way out of a brutal hit in footbal. By far the softest athletes of all major sports.
I would say soccer players are by far softer
Y’all all star game is flag football lmao
Put Shaq up against the best D-Line in the league and he's getting folded
Which version of Shaq? Does Shaq have time to train in the offseason to prepare? Shaq at his prime was 320 pounds and 7 footer. These are still athletes at the end of the day. Shaq may not fare so well against a D line men but put the best d line in an nba game. Dude would get blocked so bad and go 0-20. Wouldn’t even have a chance.
Shaq may be an exception but he was the exception in the NBA too, that’s a bad comparison.
Lmao Shaq took his glasses off like a dad trying to prove a point
This show was a lot better before Shaq.
No it gotten better bc of him, the fact that he’s such a cry baby makes it fun with him and Barkley
Everyone Thinks they can play football till they get tackled. No flopping in the NFL, and they think NBA guys are tough? Theres a reason why flopping exist in the NBA.
They play to the game. Flop to get a foul. If hunter renfrow can play in the nfl . Yea ant young lebron Isaiah Stewart and others could easily play. White boy is 5’8 180 pounds 😂

A lot of basketball players use to play football as their main sport or their second sport. I think those guys could make the transition. Now would they be great, probably a small few would be.
Shaq is the only people i know who has a doctorate but dumb most of the time
Yeah, football and the like are so much different from basketball. Sort of like MMA with shoulder pads. 🙄
It's not a real doctorate. It's an honorary degree
I knew before I clicked to watch this video that Shaq would believe he and others could play in the NFL. Lmfao.
There’s good reason why you don’t see any 7 footers playing pro football. And very few over 6-9. Because low man wins. And these other 300+ pound lineman and 260+ pound tight ends get better leverage and would eventually wreck the knees of a Shaquille O’Neal.
There’s also good reason you don’t see (and never really have seen) a 7 foot receiver or tight end. There are plenty of 6’9”+ NBA rejects that couldn’t make it in the league. Why don’t we see them “fall back” to the NFL? Because their knees would get wrecked getting consistent tackled by players lower to the ground. Plus they don’t have foot speed, short area quickness, or physical mentality to make it.
The only real basketball “crossovers” have been tight-ends and offensive tackles. Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, etc. And despite what delusional Gilbert Arenas believes, a skinny rail like Wenbanyama could not be used to block kicks. He’d eventually get injured below the waist. That’s precisely why we never see a 7 foot NBA or college reject make the transition.
These people never think things through or ask themselves, “why don’t we see it already?”
Nba players are known for flopping imagine those athlete playing in a hardcore contact sport
Lol just like soccer mofos
NFL men known for bothering men and covering up with a helmet on. Basketball men known for killing you after the simple pickup game.
Randy Moss was a basketball and football star. He was so athletic and had the height like NBA players.
NFL players don’t punch and run like Carmelo did.
A little shaq goes a
looooooooooooooooooooooooooog way.......
Zion Williamson would be a a 4th or 5th round draft pick this year at ANY position on the Defensive Line
yeah sure, just like Brock Lesnar right? Guy is athletic and all muscle and couldn't get past a single back up O linemen from the Vikings during his defensive line tryout.
There is no load management in the NFL.
Shaq you’re a goofball man
I would like to see Shaq play a fullback... Give him the ball and let him plow in...
would be cool for like 6 plays before he got injured... still prolly would be like 6 touchdowns if they run him in the red zone
They’ll take out his knees
And watch a 5'9, 280lbs dude make him fly like a corkscrew
Shaq isn’t even big compared to defensive tackles
@SomeChink Shaq is 7 ft 1 inch tall and in his prime was 320-330 lbs of muscle. No defense or even offensive player is that big. Not saying Shaq would be a good player but he would have been one of the biggest if not the biggest player to ever play football.
I'm glad Chuck said this. Just cuz u can jump and you tall don't mean u can't get folded. If that was the case, the average nfl player should be taller by Austin Rivers logic
There's few NBA players who could make it to the NFL in their primes.
@@rayray9776 maybe but they'd never try
NBA players are way too soft LUL
Austin Rivers is NBA Nipo Child. Without his daddy to give him massive contract and ESPN job... Gezzs....
I don't think there's 30 players that you can take from the NBA right now and be good in college football let alone the NFL. NBA players for the most part are athletic freaks, so are NFL players, but those are still two completely different skillsets. There are plenty of good athletic freaks in the college game who actually know football and practice it everyday and are good at it that will never step foot on an NFL field, I have no reason to believe that you're just going to 30 guys from the NBA and throw them in Lambeau or Soldier Field at the beginning of January in the snow unless you're throwing them in there for the sole purpose of getting destroyed. Just because someone is great at their job, does not mean they are going to be great at someone else's job.
The very first thing that is perfectly obvious is that tall people take hits much worse, this is why only a couple RB's a year are over 6 feet. Every good NBA player would get folded in half by a DB and that would be that.
Lmao imagine gettin hit by Shaq
Put em in one Oklahoma drill and see how fast they drop
It’s like the older shaq gets, the worse he becomes. Probably his wife beef has a huge part in it
NBA players may be more skilled and more athletic than NFL players but that doesn't mean they can play in the NFL. The two sports are not interchangeable. Football is more physical than basketball. In basketball, you're trying to running around people. In football, you're running through people. It's a different mindset, different mentality altogether. There's also the weather to take into account. Football players are expected to play in all kinds of weather conditions (heat, humidity, wind, rain, snow). NFL players often have to take that in account and adjust accordingly. NBA players have the luxury of not having to worry about that. I can't see any NBA player in an NFL game in Buffalo in the middle of a blizzard.
Someone like Draymond or Lebron, their build probably would be the closest fit but just as Grover said when MJ left baseball he had to totally redo his whole body to come back to basketball.
The truth comes out Charles one of the toughest nba players knows how soft the nba is...
The skills and attributes overlap some, but usually not at a professional level.
Dribbling, passing, rebounding and shooting don't overlap. The main basketball skills. Most sports run, throw and play defence, so basketball isn't special in transitioning to football.
@@RobVole1 I said "overlap some." I'm aware that you don't dribble a football down to the end zone and jump shoot it through the goalpost 🙂
Imagine leflop playing nfl, he'd still be rolling on the turf rn
😂
At least it would be real this time.
NBA players are too soft for football
Not Anthony Edwards
its simply true, tall and high center of gravity is not very good for football, now maybe 1 or 2 players are fast enough or skilled enough to be recievers but na, not the NFL
Exactly. When really tall guys get hit low it's bad for their longevity.
Shaq maybe you could have. Most people choose basketball to not get hit. Cut the crap.
Yes in prep, maybe in college, no in the pros
Seriously, it's a whole other animal. You gotta be built some other way to take those beatings. I was a wide receiver (some QB, but mostly WR) in high school all 4 years and I'm telling you it's a whole other animal. I never made it to college because A: I wasn't good enough but good in high school and B: they "broke stuff in me that ain't never been fixed" (Creed 2 quote, not mine)
CB way bacc in the 90s called NFL players crazy for playing that sport🤕

The transition between sports that need you to steal the ball and sports that need you to block the body is never easy
