How heavy was the load, I'm about to purchase the s372sxe t4 kit in Hope's of lower egts. I was pulling a total gross load of 24k lbs and was able to keep it below 1200 going up even a steep hill 5% in kentucky at 60mph on stock turbo and injectors on 35s Thanks
Turbine is same size .... not gonna lower egt’s , actually the older s366 has a “clipped” exhaust wheel. A little slower spoiling but outflows newer by a little . . Getting a 72mm compressor won’t help egt’s. Try biggest housing you can get , may help some.
I run 1200-1300 pulling heavy at 80mph for hours and have been doing so for over two years now and don’t seem to have any ill effects. I’m going to say that it’s a pretty safe egt range but coolant temps and engine oil temp is where your biggest issues will be. I had to upgrade my radiator. My engine oil temps is still on the high side around 260 degrees. But coolant temps are more reasonable. The hottest it’s got since I upgraded is 220 degrees.
I like the dash.. did you wrap it?

A nice free flowing exhaust is the best way to lower EGT’s. 3 in downpipe 4 in turbo back, if you don’t already have that
get a new alternator
1200-1300 sustained seems really high. Are you running Hydra or large injectors? Gonna feather those pistons at that heat sustained.
That's a VERY short time at that heat.. to see any damage the heat needs to be more sustained.. IMO
