I went to this concert, when I was in 2nd grade. My brother was apart of this orchestra. Ever since this concert, I've always had a deep connection with music, specifically classical music, and small vivid memories such as street lights act as a visual representation of the absolute peace and comfort I had and still feel listening to this song.
I'm glad to hear someone say they walked "up" the aisle, rather than "down". It just doesn't sound right to say you walk "down" the aisle to your own wedding lol.
I was in 4th grade when I played my first instrument. A recorder. I now play in a punk rock band. But my love for music started with my 4th grade teacher who taught me classical music. My first genre of music I loved. And opened up my eyes to all kinds of music. No mater what genre. A good piece is a good piece!
i'm more of a band person, but I find a spot for all instrumentation and am fascinated with the full orchestra. Strings have a really beautiful sound. I usually put a violin and cello part when i'm writing music along with some wind instruments. I know that band and (string) orchestra are separate because of different teaching methods but putting the band and the (string) orchestra together would create the ultimate force in the universe. This is the first time i hear from a HS (string) orchestra and i'm impressed. It's nothing like the haunting, screeching, nasty sound of the (string) orchestra from my middle school. This was an excellent performance, the Canon in D is one of my favorites. I honestly wasn't expecting to hear so much greatness. I just love that bass part though!
wow i was just clicking on random pachelbel videos and i ended up on this one totally by accident and it turns out i actually know like a ton of people that go here!!
A truly wonderful song. One can be reminded his first love experience some others their sweet bitter memories. But all agree the melody's magic to look back their valuable lives
THIS is the best live version I've ever heard of this masterpiece. This, like "Fuhr Elise", must be played very, very slowly. Greatly done, guys! Greetings from France
tomorrow's artist's. pimply kids with great talent. if it comes naturally then ur a savant. If not, then u practiced & practiced & practiced. critic's simply watch others take risk's and comment on their notoriety or misfortune without ever having achieved anything note worthy of their own. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever composed and I think performed very admirably by this group of young adults.
What I love about classical music is that you don't need some hotshot singer. You can recreate the beauty with just a little bit of help and it usually comes out the same)
This song is the ultimate masterpiece to ever exist.
