I am in England, I recently sold my Mini Countryman All 4 (with sunroof) and my Mazda MX5 powershift and bought a CHR. I love it! However I have always had sunroofs or convertibles and I wish the CHR could have a sunroof. That said the CHR is fabulous. I have it with leather and heated seats. I love it and it is perfect. FYI I am a single man, I wanted sporty and capacious to replace both cars so I am not concerned about the back seats.

We have a 2019 C-HR and LOVE it. I am in my mid forties, married to an amazing woman and have the best teenage daughter you could ask for. As was said, the C-HR is packed with safety features and it has 10 airbags. Best of all it actually fits in our garage with our other car. What I don't think it gets enough credit for is its performance so thanks for pointing it out. It doesn't even look like you put it in "Sport" mode and you still found it to be more sporty. It was fine tuned on the Nürburgring and the chief engineer is a race car driver. I was able to get TRD Lowering Springs and the TRD Air Intake Kit from the dealer for more torque and horsepower which makes this car even more sporty without voiding the warranty. Granted, it is not a sports car but it is sporty. Our other "family" car is a Honda Civic Type R. The Type R is segment leading in its performance, but the C-HR is better for going around town and doing grocery shopping. I do have to admit ,that adaptable trunk space in the Nissan is pretty cool. For the C-HR I ordered a foldable trunk organizer, also from my dealer, and it really helps prevent groceries from sliding around and folds away and stores in the side compartment when not in use. Our car also has the optional roof racks for more load carrying capacity. We have some nice twisty roads here in SoCal and the C-HR handles them like a champ especially with those TRD parts. We do give up some MPGs for that power but well worth it. Bravo Toyota for not being afraid to give us something different. Toyota earned my hard earned money and with that legendary Toyota quality the C-HR is a car we will have, maintenance free for a long time to come.

My daughter drives the C-HR after she had the Corolla for 4 years and she swears by it. The other day my daily driver had to have a sleep over at the shop and they rented a Qashqai for me and that car took me completely by surprise in a very positive way. I was allowed to drive the C-HR and in town I like the engine, it is quite peppy. The one thing about the Qashqai is the space in the front, I am a tall guy and it is cramped in the front for my legs. I still would go for the Rogue after my Mazda CX-5.

Toyota has rebranded vehicles originally designed for Scion as Toyota’s but seem to replace them fairly quickly. Like the hatch that became the Corolla hatch. Toyota May be coming out with a Corolla Cross suv that would fit better in their lineup. The Nissan from side and rear is very similar to a Honda HRV.
AWD along with heated seats in southern US not needed routinely plus usually get worse gas milage with AWD along with increasing price of vehicle.

AWD doesn't mean better traction in the winter if all you have on are all season tires. I still use winter tires on my 4matic Benz once November hits because you get a discount from the insurance company plus it transforms the car into a mountain goat. Go anywhere in deep snow. IF swapping is annoying to you then go for a set of all weather tires. Toyo and Continental makes some good ones and they work decently year round which makes sense for those in the Vancouver area.

That Nissan Qashqai....When you name you vehicles after nomadic tribes/clans of foreign lands (Iran), it seldom translates properly. Few people know about these lands, let alone understand how to spell them. Just like the VW Touareg (African nomads). The Americans like to keep things simple. I respect that. If I had to pick one of these vehicles (reliability aside), it would be the Toyota. Sadly, though mostly, because of the Nissans ridiculous name. Thanks to both of you for the review.

i own a 2019 c-hr gle. it is the most utterly piece of crap. after 2
years of ownership and 40k miles it makes me wish i had bought a yugo!
    spacious: somewhat
good mileage?? not in the least. my 1990 suzuki samurai gave 45/50 miles
    to the gallon.
battery is out in less than 2 years, so were the tires which lasted
    about 38k miles.
noises from low workmanship. it has them all. currently, in slow turns,
the steering system cracks, rattles and moans constantly. and then
there is the ever bubbling sound after it gets warmed up. what did the
dealership service department say all and every time i took the car for
inspection? they said that there was nothing wrong with the car. a
    yugo's the way to go.
suspension. it bottoms up every time with the slightest depression on
the road. the front absorbers (struts or rubber bands or whatever they
use to deal with this) is so horrendous and the japanese mechanic at the
dealership says there is nothing wrong with the suspension. a yugo is
    the way to go!
i am telling you guys and gals, save yourselves the aggravation of a
great looking piece of crap and buy yourselves a yugo!! the 80's and
    90's yugo that is!

when you were pointing out the differences you missed the sunroof which is big deal for some and paying extra for that seems okay

Sunroof, AWD, interior spaciousness and looks alone make the Nissan the winner. I'd buy the Mazda CX-30 before either of these two CVT garbage cans though.

thinking about such a car (Nissan) for my wife, because she almost always uses heels (10 cm) so it must
be able to run in heels (do not want to change shoes every time she should run), have you tried
with heels ?, she has a Mercedes today, and it is easy to run in heels.

Qashqai more spacious but two of them do not worth to buy
.They are ilke lifted sedans but they cannot suply what sedans suply.
They are not stil sedan but they are not real offroad wheicle either
.They are not as fast as sedans and they do not have offroad capability.
I think ,they are produced as a result of marketting strategy .I can not place them
    to any real catagory.
