    What Africa needs to do is start creating their own things, just like how these people created internet for themselves, that was fantastic! They should teach this to other kids in this village and maybe this knowledge could spread. God bless Africa

    • @HisameArtwork

      Then they would have more of the problems the "west"(maybe you include in west Japan and Korea as well) has, like: obesity, anorexia, depression, racist violence, low birth rates, ageing population, robotization and unemployment of low skilled people, wealth inequality, unaffordable housing and lack of space, since you can no longer build a shack in the woods in the "west" since there aren't much woods left. ****** But it's not all bad, in the cities anyway. In the countryside it can be pretty bad, most of our villages are slowly dyeing.

    Great work and really like the way they were speaking their native language even though they speak and understand English not our country Ghana were our Leaders thinks English language is the best language which is foolishness and I think Africans should start making their native language the first national language and their colonial masters language the second not the other way round cos if we didn’t do that there is no way we will develop as a continent and we will remain under colonialism God bless Africa

    • @alaya6146

      I don't know why Ghanaians like bringing their country down all the time. The pull me down spirit is so strong in Ghana. When did the leaders say local languages are not good? Have you never seen a documentary on Ghana in which the people are speaking in their local languages. When our leaders are addressing the whole country they speak in English. It is the only uniform language in the whole country. When they go to the Akan's they speak in Twi and to the Ga's they speak Ga. To the Northner's Frafra, Groni or others. Do you have to insult Ghana to uplift others. What exactly would you recommend the main language of Ghana be when we have so many different tribes with their own? And how are the 54 countries speaking various different languages helpful to the development of the continent when we can't communicate with each other?

    • @ibrahimbasiru9272
      @ibrahimbasiru9272 5 лет назад +1

      Stop the hypocrisy how many times did you see the president speaking the local language and are you not aware that they just said they want to make French our second language tell me what shows they have respect to our own local languages and what are they telling us in school ? Not to speak any local language which they name it as vanacola,tell me what is the meaning of that and in Ghana the only language that is spoken everywhere is twi and is our local language that is familiar with everyone and we have News in twi on radio and television which the majority listen to so what stop our leaders on thinking of making it our first language I’m not Ashanti and I’m proud Gonja but the reality is twi is our most common language that is everywhere in the country one thing let me tell you I’m in the state and if a citizen of Ghana has health insurance and insurance company sende you mail they write in English,twi,Spanish etc and if u go to any public office and u ask for translator they will get you a twi translator and is every where in the world it’s only twi that is recognize as Ghanaian language so what are we waiting for but because we are not ready to develop and we want to remain under colony.and Ghana is the first country to gain independent in Africa but 20 most develop countries in Africa Ghana is not included and u sit down happily and tell me I want to bring Ghana down and what will I gain for doing that do you love Ghana more than anyone and with people like you that thinks everything is cool with what is going on in the country how do you expect this greedy politicians to fix our problems.the moment u start speaking ur language that’s when u will know ur value and therefore it will lead you to light.lets support the new Africa movement so that we can make a change for better future enough with the colonialization every white man speak his own language in his country no matter how small his country is so why can’t we do the same,enough with this bullshit 😡

      @@ibrahimbasiru9272 First of all I never said all is perfect and well with Ghana. There are many people who are supposed Ghanaians who leave nothing but insults for Ghana every chance they get. Always a way to degrade it's face. I don't see how rebukes like this benefit Ghana. Maybe you are not like the many others for example in the Ghanaweb comments section insulting Ghana or in a video someone made to uplift Ghana. I find it sad that we can't rather say something uplifting for our country or say we should learn from so and so in a rather positive manner. No country is perfect at least some Ghanaians are trying however you feel. If it was so easy it would have been done. With Ghanaians who are quick to shut down any good thing any other Ghanaian does how will we move forward? Someone says they are doing this then insults. We need to fix that first. When it comes to language I can agree Twi is quite popular so maybe Twi, but what will you do when other tribes start complaining and revolting? At least for now there is peace. I haven't had any teacher tell me that my local language is useless. With the president I have heard him speak Twi. Your question about president's speaking in the local languages, that is one of my points if a Ga man becomes president and he only speaks Ga(there are people like that) what will you say he should now go and learn Twi? Or will you make Twi a requirement before you become President? At least with English it is a common ground which eliminates anyone feeling superior or inferior. We just have to encourage our various local languages being taught as well. We are still trying to eliminate the remains of tribalism. Like you admitted we have televison and radio stations with Twi, even Ga. When more people make more money we will start hearing more of others. I agree language is important, but you didn't answer my last question. I believe in the development of Africa as a whole and also in us continuing or uniqueness within or own countries. At the same time though encouraging 54 different languages in a continent that needs to work together and understand each other whilst doing so is confusing. The reason french was introduced to us was to widen our economic reach. Us joining that Francophone group gives us access to a bigger market. That is what Ghana is lacking compared to Nigeria, our population and market is quite small. It's not only Ghana suffering from that, hence why ECOWAS is working towards one currency. I agree though that making french our second language is a bit extreme.

      @ibrahimbasiru9272 5 лет назад

      Alaya KnowsAlot come on bro you are not getting it this francophone what is the benefit for joining them this people maltreat our people when ever u cross to their zone and our grand grand parents were trading with this people for long and still we are trading with them we understand each other and language has never been a issue and I used to travel to Togo every 2 weeks when I was in Ghana to buy goods so the trading aspect is never an issue with communication the issue is the border crossing and the treatment they give us when ever we cross to their side is what the gov has to talk about not language and the issue of bigger market has nothing to do with language is all about too much duty on goods when ever you import goods the evil people at the port will charge a huge amount on duty so most businesses have move to Togo cos of high cost of duty example before mali 🇲🇱 and Niger 🇳🇪 used to ship 🛳 their cars 🚗 ,rice and so many things and Nigerians as well but cos of high duty charges they had to move to Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 and Togo cos is better for them there u can ask anyone that has worked at Tema port some where 2002 he will tell you so the issue with bigger market our own greedy leaders are the cos of it and back to the language and developmental issues I told you I’m a proud Gonja but the fact is Twi is the most speaking language in Ghana anywhere you go in Ghana twi is there not because I like it but that’s what it’s and that’s why I told you anywhere u go in this world when say u are from Ghana and u need a translater they will bring someone that speaks twi for you so if you really care about the development of the country and we want to have a national language you will just have to put ur interest and feelings aside and let the right thing to be done and Europe has 50 countries and every country speaks his own language and you know why cos every one know his value as people and as a country,is just do ur thing let me also do my thing no one is better than any not economically ooo cos is a fact that some of the European countries are poor but they maintain their respect so that they will not be rule by anyone that’s what I’m talking about cos using the white peoples language still makes us under colony which is distracting us in so many ways but we don’t see it and untill we change that system we will still be stuck my brother .but I know you will insist on ur agenda cos u sound like a politician and all those people that u think they always say shit about Ghana is just that they are tired of this evil politicians cos things are getting worst from gov to another gov things are not getting better at all and u have to understand them and i want to ask u something ?can u mention one direct benefits that a citizen of Ghana get from gov from all the state resources that we have been transporting since and look at Obuosi one of the richest town in the world but look at it state ryt now and do u know what benefits the citizen of USA 🇺🇸 and European citizen get from their country ,they give them free housing,money for food every month if u are not working,free hearth care ,scholarship in school, grant for school and more this are direct benefits and some of this stuff all u need to do is just call u don’t even have to go the office what about us ? @@ibrahimbasiru9272 First I am not a politician lol. I am not interested in that area at all. The complaints can be warranted but there are many unnecessary insults that don't benefit us. I agreed with you on the French language thing though. We joining the Francophone nations though is supposed to give us rights and access to their markets we were not given before. The issues you mentioned on how they treat us, it now gives us protection. Anyways it is yet to be put to test. Me I look at my country and I look at it's age. It is not America or European countries in which I will be comparing us. Even after independence the west and neo colonialism has been undermining us. When you speak of language and we pick one you are also speaking of pride in one owns country. That is what we need to work on, love for our country that we don't go rebuking it and leaving the responsibility for politicians alone. I believe in citizens doing their part because we are not a first world country and if we want to get there you work for it together. Citizens and politicians all together it is not one person who builds a country. Even the healthcare and others there are those in the U.S still saying it is not enough for them. We will always want more. The toil our country has been through this is now the time to ask for it and it will come.
      I am not the one fighting against Twi so the problem won't be me putting my feelings aside. I don't know how you will tell all the others to put their feelings aside. If they want to fight it they will, I wasn't speaking of my feelings just others.

Don't jump to conclusions and fool yourself, the people from the village were simply educated how to service and erect the systems. The video is intentionally edited badly to get views from people like you who don't understand the power of media, if they never crop out the first 10 seconds of what the professor had to say then you would be keeping your mouth closed. A nation wide African mindset where it’s “us vs them”, because that what it’s always been. Us black people always been the lesser race, so we have no one else but ourselves. @@crowdpleaserselector5980 Internet was invented by the US military (which all of them were white back then) so yes, internet is white. Also, blacks have always been behind, Asians, Indians and Whites are always the ones at the top dealing with new technology and science, like just a day ago or so they took the first image of a black hole, no blacks were involved in that. SpaceX has almost no blacks whatsoever but quite a lot of indians, etc... It's not racism, blacks are obviously a little behind compared to pretty much all other races on Earth.
      We know for a fact that the average IQ of Africans are 73. Compared to say Whites at 100, Chinese at 105 and Jews 115. If we look at the societies that also reflect these numbers, China is super modern today but they have had plenty of wars, more than you can count. Africans always blame the white for their current situation but even countries like Japan that had two fucking nukes dropped on their cities are now up and running again. Africa is still a shithole long after the white man left.
