Shout out to the person behind camera. I couldn’t ask for better angles. I appreciate you making videos like this! I’m starting to get into the grooming industry and I want and appreciate all the help I can find.
I am watching this in May 2024. This is the best total grooming of a mini doodle ever. Your clipper work and scissors are amazing. He almost looks fake he’s groomed so fantastic. I will be following your videos for ever. You are a extremely talented groomer ❤️
I never knew so much went into a dog getting groomed, although when I had my figs I took them to be groomed once a month. You’re doing a great job. Thank you from all the dogs around and their owners.
Wow! You are a perfectionist! I like how you bathed the dog by hand twice w/conditioner then sprayed antistatic ? on, combed, shaved, then hand cut the dog again, trimmed n dremmeled the nails And wore a mask to protect yourself! Your groomed dog is a piece of art, Great Job! I admire your dedication, patience and care you give to your clients! Keep up the Excellent work!! 💕🐕🤗
This is the most superb doodle groom I’ve seen . Very explicit fantastic instruction . Very detailed . I learned a lot ! I must say the dog was exceptionally patient , but then most doodles I’ve found to be really good to groom ! I really appreciated so much all the description of each tool as used . I found this video to be the most helpful of any I’ve ever seen . The gal doing the groom is amazing for sure ! Thank you so much !
I have a 6 month old labradoodle and he’s got the curly hair and so I really didn’t realize how much hair he had until I decided to groom him myself! I purchased a vacuum cutter and it’s awesome! I’m just struggling with figuring out how to cut his face. Thank you for this!
Our grooming styles are almost identical. Start to finish. I would recommend putting a towel down during your first pass with the dryer. And using a smaller towel with your left hand as you dry each section with your right during the second pass. Also try drying most of the face and ears while the happy hoodie is still on. Once the happy hoodie is removed you’ll only have a tiny bit left to dry. This will reduce drying time as well. Excellent video and great techniques.
Great job grooming. I’m going to attempt to groom my golden doodle 15 week puppy this weekend. I picked up techniques from you. You were very professional. I thought the music was very well coordinated with your grooming techniques. Thx so much for sharing.
What I admire most about your grooming technique is the way you focus on one area until perfection and then move on . I find my ADHD getting the best of me and I am constantly working on multiple areas at once! Ugh.
Thank you so much for putting another video on RUclips and making your tool choices more clear. I watch your teddy Goldendoodle grooming video every time I am getting ready to groom my sweet doodle. I feel like I do the paws really well at this point, but the face! Oi! I have not got the face down well! I hope this helps. Of all the Goldendoodle grooming videos I have watched, yours has helped me the most.
At first I thought these groomers put these videos up to help people to groom their dogs. But the more I watch, the more I realize, it is to discourage people from grooming their own dogs! This is a huge amount of work! Especially with these doodle dogs.
You do SUCH a thorough job and take the time to brush out the whole coat…. Unlike other groomers in You Tube who don’t brush and just shave them all down instead. Laziness! You really spend the time!
I always give 2 shampoos, and with all the people that don't want their doodles poodled we do lots of scissor work. We're booked solid, we just take the time, sux when you can't be creative and have fun
Anna you make me want to quit cutting hair and learn how to cut on animals! 🤣 but Honestly though I am proud of how far you and your mom have come with your grooming business. When I first meet you guys were doing this from your house and now look at how far you've come have your own grooming salon and now a grooming channel!? Way to go!! 👏👏👏 🧡🧡🧡 keep up your amazing work!
I find that the Ultra Max Spray also seems to help dry the coat faster as well and I love the finished feel of the coat from it after. I'm a big fan of Best Shot products. Beautiful job as usual.
You are by far the best groomer I have ever seen. I noticed you don’t pluck the hair out of the ears. Many do pluck the ears but I think the hair is there to keep the dirt out. I don’t know what you charge but you are worth every cent
Anna...I'm not a groomer, but I own a dog who needs one. It's mesmerizing watching you work...you're incredibly skilled with your tools, but moreover I noticed your handling of the dog. Your touch is firm, has clear intent, and exudes confidence. This kind of communication with the animal is so important for the dog/groomer relationship...it seems intrinsic with you and is amazing to watch! Thank you for sharing your talent and teaching me something about handling my own dog. Continued success!!
This video is amazing!! I’ve been trying to learn how to groom my mini doodle at home and your video has been by far the most informative one. I still need more practice but, my boy came out looking so good. Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
I am in awe EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I watch your videos. You are fantastic ... a wizard! You do amazing work. I follow you on IG as well and I wish that you were in my hometown ♥️🐶
Before I actually groomed my dogs myself I thought the prices for grooming were high, now that I've done it myself for years I realize ya'll don't get paid near enough. It is sure touch on the back. I enjoyed the video
You are such an amazing groomer. I have three Wheaten Terriers that get mistaken for Doodles all the time lol! I wish I could bring them to you but since our proximity makes that impossible, I hope you hold online classes at some point. I have been grooming them at home for a year and your videos have helped me tremendously.
Great, informative video with lots of useful recommendations. I just purchased a bunch of new grooming supplies from Amazon after watching your video. Thanks!
I have a Goldendoodle named Henry, he’s 5 years old. I’ve been taking him to the local grooming business in our small town of DeSoto South of St. Louis. It started out at $40 when he was a puppy, then 50, 60, the last time was $70 and when I called to schedule his grooming, they told me there prices have gone up starting Jan 2023! I’m thinking I can’t afford this anymore! It’s a grooming business with about 3 groomer’s working. I’ve been told that pulling the ear hair was necessary to prevent ear infections and didn’t hurt them anyway. About six months ago, I got there early for pickup by a few minutes as I’m walking up to the building I hear a dog screaming in pain! After I picked Henry up and got home, I looked and BOTH OF HIS EAR CANALS WERE BLOODY!!😢 I realized that was Henry that I’d heard screaming! I can’t trust this groomer after that happened, talk about torture!! They’d always told me that they use this powder which helps the hair come out easily. B.S. I did some checking on the internet and new research is out saying it is NOT NECESSARY to pull out the ear hair! You just clean them out once a month and keep the hair on the underside of his ear cut back short or shaved to allow for air flow. I even heard multiple people telling how they grew up, their parents used a mixture of either apple cider vinegar w/water in their ears to keep them clean, or 3%food grade hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. After you massage around the ear gently to loosen wax and dirt then use a cotton ball to absorb most moisture. Follow that a few minutes later with a a couple drops of rubbing mixed with a couple drops of distilled water or boiled water that’s brought to room temperature. Someone else said their parent’s peeled a whole garlic clove cut the tip off one end and put that in their ear to kill infection, they said it worked like a charm! I don’t know how on earth you’d keep your dog from shaking it out which shaking their head isn’t good for their brain, so don’t think I’d try the garlic. Just do your own research, there are answers out there. I watched a webinar class with 14 different Holistic Veterinarians and boy was that valuable information!! We know our allopathic western medical model is broken. Doctors can’t cure most all diseases and aren’t taught to cure, but to write prescriptions to mask symptoms, more $$$$ All of these 14 Vets agreed that dogs should only get one set of puppy shots,(not all at once either) that will last them their lifetime! Unless your dog is out a lot with other dog’s, then a parvo shot isn’t a bad idea. But all those scheduled shots do more harm than good. Like when I was a kid in the 60’s we got just a few shots, now it’s up over 60 shots on the childhood vaccine schedule and Big Pharma has over 100 more in the pipeline going to add them to the schedule!!! Folks like the greedy Big Pharma who passed their greedy ideology down to the Veterinarians who are greedy and vaccine’s are their “Bread and Butter”! Think about it, years ago Golden Retrievers lifespan was 15-18 yrs. now it’s 5-10 yrs. The only thing we can attribute that to is the amount of vaccines they are getting now and the horrible kibble diet they’re fed!! Please do the research on caring for you pets, most love them like a family member and we want them to live as long as possible! Needless to say, I’m going to start grooming Henry myself and this video is a great lesson! I went to beauty school back in the 80’s and cut hair for year’s, I think I can adapt to cutting dog hair!Lol God Bless
You do an excellent groom. I especially like the way you handle the dog. He is obviously used to being groomed. He is so good and I attribute that to the groomer. The only thing I didn’t like was the music during filming (lol) but did enjoy the high speed. You are an awesome groomer. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you.
Watching before grooming my cockapoo today. As a self-taught groomer, this was very informative. I would love to see a teddy bear cut on a cockapoo. :)
Surely its more beneficial to remove matts before bathing and drying? Surely washing and drying a matted dog just makes the matts worse? I was always taught pre groom to remove any matts before a bath
I would give you a HUGE TIP for that job! Wowza, girl that was top notch! (The pupper looked at you like "Damn girl arent we done here yet? keeps me giggling hahahahahhaha)
I love the way you shampoo the dog that’s the proper way to shampoo a dog I hate when people do it with a machine and not rub the dog down to me that doesn’t make any kind of sense the way you do it I think is the best way everybody starts to use new gadgets and just cause it’s easier for them but to me they don’t wash the dog the proper way the way you do it I think that’s the best way Thank You 🙏🏼
You did a great job. Just wondering.. if you knew there was matting why didn’t you shave the dog first then bathe than shave again. Wouldn’t it have been more comfortable for the dog instead of brushing that out? It had to be painful.
Shout out to the person behind camera. I couldn’t ask for better angles. I appreciate you making videos like this! I’m starting to get into the grooming industry and I want and appreciate all the help I can find.
Shout out to my wonderful husband Josh! He is always handling everything tech related and he does an absolutely phenomenal job! 🫶🏻

That’s a very patient dog, what a very intensive, thorough groom, she is excellent!
It's nice that she goes over every body part individually for a thorough cleansing. She does a great job!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
I've groomed for over 25 yrs ...girl you are superbbbbbbbbb ...excellent example of a buetifull doodle cut ...x
Thank you so much 🥹

What a good dog he is . Long cut and trim. Hes a trooper.
What I admire most about your grooming technique is the way you focus on one area until perfection and then move on . I find my ADHD getting the best of me and I am constantly working on multiple areas at once! Ugh.
It definitely helps to get into a routine and stick to it! Easier said than done….
I could sit here and watch you groom doodles all darn day 😍 please make some more of these 😅😇
If only the dogs I groomed would stand still like this angel !!!!!

I so enjoyed this video. It really shows the professional care and skills that goes into grooming a pet.
Gosh i wish my salon gave us enough time to bathe dogs twice and do full body scissorwork. That scissorwork is incredible to watch 😍😍
I always give 2 shampoos, and with all the people that don't want their doodles poodled we do lots of scissor work. We're booked solid, we just take the time, sux when you can't be creative and have fun

Watching this before your webinar today! So satisfying to watch 😍

Are they groomed to breed standard? Don't know how they could be mistaken, totally 2 different looks, or maybe just ignorant. Love Wheatens.
Great, informative video with lots of useful recommendations. I just purchased a bunch of new grooming supplies from Amazon after watching your video. Thanks!
Absolutely amazing ,i learn so much from you Anna.Thank you.
I have learned how to groom my doodle from watching ZoomGroomAnna...❣️❣️❣️
Beautiful coloured doggy.. behaved so well.. excellent job. Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤❤❤❤❤
Wish you were in my state!! Such a lovely groom! He looks adorable!

This video helped me so much with feet! I’ve been grooming for a couple years and I’m trying to tweak my style to be better
You have amazing scissoring skills.
Beautiful work!!
I enjoyed watching this video and it will help me to cut my miniature goldendoodle at the end of the month!! 👏👏
Awww he’s such a good doggo
You do a beautiful job…as I am an old groomer, my standard poodle takes me about 4 hrs. from start to finish….and she is groomed every 4 to 5 weeks….
Impressed by all of what you did and so well. Would have liked to see the inside ear-hair plucked, but everything else was super!

Great job Anna!!! 👏 Can you send us the names of the scissors you use as well as where we can get them in your description? Thanks
Very nice tutorial, Im also a groomer from philippines.while Im watching your video i think I need to improve my skill☺️
The person recording did a great job.
Watching before grooming my cockapoo today. As a self-taught groomer, this was very informative. I would love to see a teddy bear cut on a cockapoo. :)
Very nice job!! I’m a fan of your work. New subscriber!! Me an my Aussie Doodle will be tuned in !
You are a fantastic lefty🥰
He is gorgeous.
You are very good and that is a very well behaved puppy!!
For some reason I found this grooming video therapeutic lol
Surely its more beneficial to remove matts before bathing and drying? Surely washing and drying a matted dog just makes the matts worse? I was always taught pre groom to remove any matts before a bath
Yes you are correct. Washing a matted dog makes the mattes tighter, and harder to get loose. That's painful to the dogs!!
I would give you a HUGE TIP for that job! Wowza, girl that was top notch! (The pupper looked at you like "Damn girl arent we done here yet? keeps me giggling hahahahahhaha)
excellant!what size cutter blade did you use?
I absolutely love this video!!!!!!! Give us more! 🙏🙏🙏☺👍👍👍
Love your work. Just starting to learn how to groom my three doodles at home. Will you be having any kind of classes coming up?
I love the way you shampoo the dog that’s the proper way to shampoo a dog I hate when people do it with a machine and not rub the dog down to me that doesn’t make any kind of sense the way you do it I think is the best way everybody starts to use new gadgets and just cause it’s easier for them but to me they don’t wash the dog the proper way the way you do it I think that’s the best way Thank You 🙏🏼
Love your job ❤🐕
Super duper explanation & demonstration, thank you! . (Although the howling/music almost gave me a nervous breakdown!)😂
Excellent Travail. Merci Anna !
I wish you made more videos! these are amazing

That looks like the best tub I’ve seen so far 👀 I’d love to know how I could get one please! 🤗
Absolutely amazing! thank you so much for this video.
Insanely talented ! Thanks.
Can you list all of the tools you used. I know you talked about them in the video but it would be nice if you listed them also. Thanks Beautiful job .
Beautiful work!!
wow...awesome grooming!
This woman takes GREAT PRIDE IN HER CRAFT. When I get my COTON de TULEAR,

She is like Edward Scissorhands!
You did a great job. Just wondering.. if you knew there was matting why didn’t you shave the dog first then bathe than shave again. Wouldn’t it have been more comfortable for the dog instead of brushing that out? It had to be painful.
