Cheers Ron we getting this soon here in Oklahoma as well 👍 will have to pour a cold 1 my go to is budweiser probably a taste difference for sure looking forward to it
Grabbed a 24 oz can of this Food Lion (supermarket) today .. sipping on it now after keeping in the freezer for a bit. This beer is alright, decent value for the price but nothing great of course. Back in the earlier 2000's I thought this beer was amazing, that's definitely not the case now. Shortly before former employer moved my job (and me) from northern NJ to suburban Atlanta in Sept 2008 ... I signed an online petition to bring Yuengling to Georgia where it was not sold. Couple months later : October 29, 2008 Pottsville, PA, October 2008 - D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, is pleased to announce that it is expanding sales into the state of Georgia.
Jay, Just wanted to Thank You again for investing your time in posting all of these excellent beer reviews. I wouldn't have tried excellent budget-priced beers including Hamms, Schlitz, Blatz, Bud ICE otherwise.
I'm from Virginia I do enjoy Yuengling especially now that bud light is off the menu for me on the cheap beers this is in the cooler as my cheap beer and like something Kona brewing company as don't drink that that's mine I feel like for the money Yuengling is very drinkable and it's the most American company left
Lost WiFi this weekend, using a workaround until a new extender comes online later - I hope. My Kroger now has Bitburger and on sale for $6.99 for 4 500 ml cans. My daughter has DOZENS of those Oui glasses. I use them to sip wine from. Very sturdy.
I love Yuengling Traditional Lager and am so bummed their "expansion" to the rest of the country seems to not be happening...(It's been 1.5 yr since they announced and they've gone to 1 additional state...)
Thanks for the video, men. Interesting look at a value beer. I’m working opposite ends of the beer spectrum right now: Aldi White Tide for the value beer and Chimay Red for a treat. I have others in the occasional rotation.
I was given some of this today and I thought it was enjoyable. The adjunct sweetness that I usually dislike was still there, but wasn't overpowering and didn't detract a whole lot from the overall experience. I would say it's one of the better AAL's from a major (relatively) US brewery, I felt like it was somewhat around Coors Banquet in quality, my gut says it might be better then Banquet but I don't feel comfortable going off of one sample size, I would need to try it again to really get a solid opinion for it, but if it was priced favorably within the style I could see buying it somewhat often if it was available. It was at normal refrigerator temperature, and I had two cans of it, usually for an AAL I need it ice cold and even then after one, the sweetness can get to me. But not at all an issue with this.
solid guess Abita Amber is superior in my opinion, Yuengling Lager is in my rotation of beers, the lord Chesterfield ale is my favorite offering from Yuengling. Cheer great duo review... keep'em rolling guys!!!
Yuengling vs Pabst 9.99 a 12 pack Id take Yuengling but they are both more than that here and Yuengling costs more than Pabst. I wouldnt choose between them anyways as I would compare Yuengling to a George Killian's Irish Red.
Pabst costs more here in Tidewater VA (usually $18.99/case vs $16.99 (and sometimes $15.99!) for Yuengling. I’ll take Yuengling in either case over Pabst (which costs the same as Miller HL).
Up the river here in Mississippi, a six pack of yuengling light costs me around $6.70. Great price for a broke college student like me. Not too fond of the flavor however.
Great taste, cheers friends!
Cheers, back to you! Thanks for watching, Ed Alvarez. I appreciate it!
You guys are so funny “ yogurt glasses” lol
Ha-ha. Thanks!
I keep writing to Yuengling beer company to bring Yuengling over to IL but still no show yet.. Hopefully one day, it's my favorite beer!
I am thinking that it won't be too much longer.
Same here I'm in Illinois as well I just found out I can drive an hour and a half to Stl MO tho for it
Cheers Ron we getting this soon here in Oklahoma as well 👍 will have to pour a cold 1 my go to is budweiser probably a taste difference for sure looking forward to it
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching, Tyler Borden. I appreciate it!

Yes, it arrived in Louisiana, in 2013.
This was my regular beer when I lived in Philly. Still a solid beer for the price. Great review and cheers to you both!
Thanks, and cheers, back to you!
Nice parleaux glasses!
Thank you! David has some nice stuff.
We don't have Yuengling out west. Any beer similar? How's it compare to Abita?
Any similar? Well, Abita Amber Lager is fairly similar. Do you get that one? Thanks for watching, Explore Geology. I appreciate it!
Narragansett Lager still made in Rochester, craft line made in Providence RI
Thank you for the information, FT.
Love watching y'all together in these taste challenges and reviews. Keep it up guys, cheers 🍻
I'm glad you like them, and thanks! Cheers, back to you!
You never did a bud light double down, that would be a good one as to how it became the number one beer in America
Yeah, I might someday do that. Thanks for watching, Jacob. I appreciate it!

You're welcome, Shawn. I'm glad to do it!
It’s a yankee beer and taste like it. I’m half yankee and I love this beer
That's an interesting viewpoint of it.
Your shirt is awesome! I remember when you first reviewed that beer. Cheers!
Thanks, and it's been a good while since I first reviewed it. Cheers back to you! I appreciate you watching, Corey Hamlin!
This is on my top 10 beers for sure… I don’t see how you can go wrong with this beer. I’d give it a 95/100, personally.
That high? Wow!

Have you tried Yuengling Premium, yet? Thanks for watching, Faulkner Sealock. I appreciate it!

They sure do seem sturdy.

No, I've never see that.
Used to drink yuengling in SC miss it can't get it in Utah
I think it's going to make its way out there, sooner than later.
Love Yuengling but can’t find it SoCal
One day, perhaps.
I would love to try this but I don’t think it will ever come to the west coast
I hope you're wrong.

The oldest brewery in the States....Nice....PROST!!!!
Yes, and cheers, back to you!
I love Yuengling Traditional Lager and am so bummed their "expansion" to the rest of the country seems to not be happening...(It's been 1.5 yr since they announced and they've gone to 1 additional state...)
Yeah, they need to speed it up, for sure.
@@ronaldtheriot i would love to try Yuengling
Man, I wish they would get this stuff to Michigan!!
I bet they will, sooner than later. Thanks for watching, Stingray 21. I appreciate it!

You're welcome, and I'd like to try that White Tide.

I'd take the George Killian's Irish Red over the other two, but I do love Pabst Blue Ribbon. I like Yuengling Traditional Lager.

Not the greatest flavor, no. Thanks for watching, Collin DeRossette. I appreciate it!
