I don’t think we can be 100% certain that what we point out as land marks are truly the same place that we read about in the Bible. What isn’t up for debate is the Fact that these events did happen, they are true, to my core I believe what the Bible teaches. I love your ministry and would love nothing more than to follow the path of Jesus Christ through the understanding you are providing of Gods truthful and glorious words.

Genesis 22:14 "And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen."
Abraham was alluding back to the very passage in 22 in verse 8:
"And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together."
Abraham literally said "Then this will be the place where He will give himself up." Unbelievable.

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
    Ephesians 2 : 1-10

    Even GOD tested his chosen.
it is free will and test of the faith.
GOD is merciful and provides his blessing - he just wants to test his people for faith and loyalty.
if you go the other way - the path of evil look at the state of the world and how they act - those who non believer or godly on the outside but not on the inside.
for those to who question the almighty Yahweh

I think the mountain in the land of Moriah (Genesis 22:1-5) that God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac is actually mount Sinai where God gave the Law to the ancient Israelites later on, for Moriah means Yah is our teacher or instructor. For Abraham then was living just a little south of Jerusalem in Beer Sheba and that's not 3 days journey. But if you look in the Map to where mount Sinai is located in Arabia (Jabal al-lawz) from Beer Sheba (south of Jerusalem in the land of the Philistines) it's actually about 390 kilometers away and that's about 4 days journey on foot and just 3 days journey on the back of an animal like a donkey.
Something to consider and think about 🤔

And why is Jerusalem third holy site for Islam. Is Mecca and Medina not enough.

the living only true God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the heavenly king of peace the Messiah of Israel will never give Jerusalem, the city of David to be capital to any other nation but His own chosen Jewish nation Israel And the Lord Elohim will never allow the city when He gave His only beloved Son Yeshua the Messiah was sacrificed as provided in place of Isaac Passover and when Messia lamb for redemption of Gods nation was resurrected ascended to heaven and promised to return in glory to be taken from Israel but temple of Israel must be rebuilt on the same place Mount Moriah as the Lord commanded and only then true peace will come.

Christ's sacrifice? Going by the story in the Bible, his sacrifice wasn't as great as the sacrifice Prometheus made for humanity. And there is as much evidence for the Prometheus story as there is for the bible story of Christ.
Another difference between their sacrifices is that Prometheus isn't an immature petty deity so he doesn't care if you believe in him or not, and won't punish you if you don't believe in him.

This story is horrific! Anyone willing to kill his child or any child or any person is awful. I don’t know how people find this inspiring. To test someone by asking them to kill their own child is cruel. Inhumane. Psychopathic. Seriously disturbing story and even more disturbing that people think it’s inspiring.

Isaac was not a child, scholars believe he was in his thirties. Abraham was around 100. Isaac could have easily overpowered him and got away if he chose to, but he went willing just as Jesus did. He carried the wood, and Jesus also carried the wood to the place G-d showed Abraham. I believe it was most likely the exact same spot.
