I have been off the farm for over 40 years but still never complain about getting rained out because dry SUCKS !
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Busy busy time for you. Planting is always a busy time.
Takes time to switch the planter over to soybeans and make sure it is all set. Nice work Cole and Brian.
Good you were able to get a load of hay. Did not look too bad at all. At least you have it.
Glad you got a little bit of rain. Not such but got the ground wet.
Good song of the day Brian. An Glenn Campbell one. Cole said he never heard the lineman song. Age difference I guess.
Getting big brother some equipment to use. All right.
Congratulations to the older brother family having another baby.
Sending prayers to Sonne’s for more rain 🌧!!!!!!
About it I guess. Take care and be safe. Keep the planter going.
Thanks for everything Sonne’s.
The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve
Good luck planting your beans Brian and Cole
Glad to hear the rain coming down, thank you Lord🙏❤️
Congratulations to your brothers on there new addition to there families
Y'all are my favorite farmers and ranchers, thank you for all that you do for this channel and for the food that you grow. Praying for rain!
Congratulations on the new granddaughter
Nice looking load of hay if I would say so my self!!! I worked hard on getting that alfalfa put up right! I thought that load looked familiar!!!
Congrats to the brother's , wives with the new offspring's ! Its your turn next Cole !
I'm sure Cole is working on it ! 🤣
We could have a naming contest.
Watching the Sonnes farming while I enjoy a stroopwaffle! 😊
So glad you're getting a shower! At least it hasn't forgotten HOW!
Continue to lift up farmers and ranchers in this country. 🙏🙏
Can't get how you have two brothers and they are off the farm? Lived in town when I was younger but lucky enough to have a friend that had a family farm and my aunts parents had a farm. Just found more peace there. Glad your keeping up a family farm- should be proud of yourself!
Can’t blame you for buying hay. Here in sc Kansas I’ve seen many alfalfa fields that never greened up this spring, even after some good rains. Keep up the good work, will keep praying for rain.
Sending some rain from Hawaii 🙏🏼🤙🏽🌴😎
Just checked you local 10 day. Nothing else this week, but starting Monday you have some really good chances. So we shall keep talking to the Big Man and see if that can sway the odds into your favor. We have been getting just the perfect amount here in central Indiana. A little on the dryer side for May, but everything is green and all the fields have been planted
I was lineman for local utility that merged with Wichita utility, they presented Glen Cambell with a pair of hooks that we used to climb poles. Jerome Manhattan Ks.
Hopefully your rain will come after you get those beans in. It's picked up some here in SW Missouri but is still behind some.
Hoping you get rain 2" Each day for 7 day and it stays Cloudy or overcast for another 7 days . Hopefully that's not too much rain 😊
Great video Cole and Mr. B. I sure hope y'all get some rain soon. Thank you guys
Continued prayers for all the drought stricken areas. Congratulations on the new baby.
Love that song!
thanks
Praying for rain for all the drought stricken areas. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We are dry in Central Indiana also. We do have enough moisture to make hay. We always have rain when we mow hay. Not this year. Feel for you guys. 😢
One of these days that sweet dog of yours is going to figure out how to open the garage door.
PS: if she were a cat, she would have already done so.
Congratulations on the new baby? 🎀🎀🎀
Brian, another great song choice! Glad you got some rain, hopefully more to come.💧💧💧
Heard you guys had some trouble down south there (I live in NE SD, up by the ND border) in Mt. Vernon. Hope the farmer(s) that got robbed are doing ok. Praying for rain for all of the farmers! Love the channel, keep it up!
Stopped by Storla Station a few days back and looked dryer than most of the rest of the state of SD I had been traveling. Prayers for more rain. Very friendly folks there. Bought a nice T-Shirt and cap and of course a bag of stroopwafels. What a treat. Bigger treat was seeing Brian stop in for a bite to eat.
Great song Brian. Thanks for sharing
My dad as a farmer always said keep your cupboard full for the lean times 😍😍😍😍so either way your prepared 😍😍😍😍
Love the sound of rain on a metal roof. Also on a tent at night. So soothing... Still praying for rain for you guys. Cole - lineman - football - Glen Cambell - you're funny!!!!!
As a 68 year old woman it sometimes makes me forget that the younguns probably don't know all the oldies. That was a good guess from Cole about the song being about a football line man. It was also kind of funny. 😅 Good song!
I love the sound of rain falling in a metal roof. That must be music to your ears.
Will have to be a Tina Turner Tribute for your next song of the day !
Weather forecast shows your next best chance is coming late in the week...fingers crossed it turns your way & lingers awhile.---That view of the planter sure makes it look like some huge ugly bug!
We have gotten over 20 inches this year in south Alabama. I hope y'all get a drought busting rain out there. Love the content
Still praying for you guys to get a bunch of rain!🙏🙏
Hi friends enjoyed the video have a day love from TEXAS
I've got 4.3 inches in Eastland County Texas in the last 2 weeks. We need more but I'm thankful for what we have got. Hope yall get plenty also.
wow Brian drive it like you stole it. I can see why it needs to go to the shop.. lol Wichita Lineman.. excellent song.
Last week of school here. Always means first cutting. I watched next door neighbors go to cut this morning. Just saw the hay trailer come past with 17 large round bales, nice and green. No rain til maybe Sunday. We are not in a drought. But I am happy for our local hay making. I've seen too many beautiful fields spoiled by rain and even multiple rakings and fluffing to help dry it wasn't enough. Black and spoiled. Wasted time, wasted fuel, wasted hours on equipment. Wishing you well with planting, growing, and hay making. I like Wichita Lineman too. But I am sick to death of Country Roads. Have a great week!!!
We got 2.75 inches the last two days in northern Alberta really took the stress off. Hope you guys can get some soon
I’m in central Alberta, no rain here yet
I hope none of your property caught on fire.
@@hughperkins707 hopefully you guys get a blast too I know it’s been decent rain in southern Alberta which usually isn’t the case
@@robbybachmann8061 nope got lucky had one spark up about 10 miles from my place but the fire fighters got it under control in a few days
East central Alberta, 1 tenth May 22nd. Getting past serious now.
I’ve been praying for rain for ya’ll. So thankful for some rain but will keep praying for more.
Hello friends I am praying you will soon get more rain so every thing you plant will grow goodnight congratulations grandpa and grandma on your new beautiful angel little girl
Hope you get more inches of good soaking rain over this spring. Sure would help all the crops being planted now & the upcoming hay & alfalfa season.
Defensive or Offensive lineman?
‘21 was a really bad year for us. We seen the writing on the wall in May and bought hay to bridge the gap right away before everyone started buying hay late summer. We got hay for half the price. Planned on ‘22 being the same way but we ended up getting extra straw as a filler. Never needed it as it rained and we had a good crop. Like you said best case scenario you wind up with a homegrown crop and extra boughten hay!! I sure hope ‘23 brings rain… we are starting to get dry again… I honestly can’t imagine going on 3 years of what we experienced in ‘21
Congratulations on you guys becoming a grandpa and uncle again 👍
I'm glad you got a little rain 😊
Murphy says, "If you have bales of feed you won't need them. If you don't have them, you'll dearly need them."
From Murphy's lips to GOD'S ears.
It's been dry here all Winter and early Spring, then it rained early May and the lawn grass is 6-inches deep. Neighbor just cut and bailed a lush first-cutting. Yay!!
When it’s that dry. It could slow rain 5” Be planting in 2 days. And by 4rth day he begging for another rain.
I really enjoy your roll that beautiful Bean footage I hope to keep watching you I have heart surgery on June so may you and your family be blessed with a bountiful crop this year and you guys take care of yourself
I thought it was only Brian and Cole - I find out there are two other brothers 😐 praying for rain and your crops 🙏
Brian, thanks for educating these young bucks on Glen Campbell!
CONGRATULATIONS on the new addition to the family! Still praying for rain for us all!
I hope this is a banner year for all the farmers !
They need a break and we need the food.
Good luck boys! I hope it gets muddy for a while up there.
Good to see a little bit of moisture, but I’m guessing you know you need more and let’s pray for that. If your bride’s garden is dying, maybe it is needing a little bit of moisture to lol.
5/24/23 - So glad you guys got SOME rain! Enjoyed the vireo.
Congratulations🎊🎉🥳
Glad you got some rain, hopefully you will get more soon, so you can have the best possible yields. I am also a fan of the song Wichita Lineman, as well as two other Glenn Campbell songs, Galveston and Southern Nights. Keep up the great work, stay safe and God Bless
You should be waring a mask, when in the dust of treated seed!
Sense the drought affecting your enthusiasm. Sending positive vibes.
Love Glen Campbell’s music. Reminds me of my childhood.
Take care.
Love Glenn Campbell. Thank you Brian for all the fabulous songs you share with us.❤❤❤
When I’m out doing my job, in Irish rain weather, I’m willing my self to be more appreciate of the rain and all it’s benefit’s . Greetings from Ireland 👍

Heavenly sounds rain on a metal roof.

Helped work claves yesterday. Mainly opened and closed gates, kept the calves moving. Muscles sore today!

Prayers heard and answered ! Yay for your rain💖🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for more
When I was just a youngster, I thought it was "human beans". So much for being a 6 year old. 😮
Glen Campbell had some great writers . I just washed my truck and I do a regular run past your area twice a week hopefully it will rain and be an answer to my prayers for you all in your area.
And congratulations on the new addition tho the Sonne family.
I know the drought that kept hitting me in SW Manitoba finally made me go look for other options. I'm trying to grow my herd and by the time you buy the animal..., feed the animal inflated in price feed.( cause the drought decimated your hay stands) you can't have a drought tell you you have to sell the heifer that you got well over two grand in or sell a cow that is proven to make room for the heifer in the pasture and you sure can't feed the animal 365 days of the year. I went out and made a fodder system that can grow the feed I need 365 days of the year drought proofing me...., Now the heifers can be bought cause I can actually pencil some expenses and not have Murphy and his law drop kick me in the face. LOL
Praying for rain here in the middle of MI. Praying for rain for you all as well. I think that loader was well worth the investment also. Great to see it working so well for you guys.
Cole you folks are a little dry, here in western Kansas gove county we have 04 drought on the Kansas map. Biggest rain sense January was 0.18 of rain. Hope it rains this week. Good luck in planting.
Reall hope yall get a good soaking rain over several days.
Just wondering why you stopped planting Wyffels corn and went to Hefty?
What's the blue stuff you were adding by hand? fertilizer?
Hey ! You got some new hay.
