Am I overpaying for my apartment with MILLION-DOLLAR VIEWS OF THE CITY?

Thanks for showing us your apartment. I love the views from your balcony, absolutely stunning! I will be moving to Australia in September, and wanted to ask how easy is it to find a rental property? I have heard about the rental crisis in Australia, and was slightly concerned.
In addition, when you first moved from the U.K. to Australia, did you stay in an AirBnb first or get a rental straight away?

I moved in June 2023. So about 1 year now.
When I first arrived I got a flat to share. You can look online for flat mates similar websites. This way you can get a nice place instantly!
After that, you can keep applying for rental properties and eventually you’ll get accepted as long as you earn a decent salary. It’s not impossible! Of course there’s a crisis, rent increases. But that’s everywhere in the world right ?
You’ll be just fine! I promise you. When they ask for rental references, use your parents if you lived with them at home, but change their surname 😉 and say you rented for X number of years. It’ll help. You have to do what you have to get into a place. Then after that your second place will be easy peasy.
