I got a louis vuitton belt today that came with no stamp, code, model no., and no country origin!
I know its real only because I ordered it directly from the LV store, online..
Its the new Hawaiian design in beige, with reversible monogram on the back..
What's up with that?! Have you heard of this before?
I got a second hand lv belt today and the guy kept al the tags qr code and it legit if ordered from lv directly it should come with it
@@connor_.b7 I emailed LV about it, and I'll copy paste the response I got.
"In regard to your inquiry, Louis Vuitton items are of equal quality regardless of the workshop in which they are made. Therefore, we do not track where each product is crafted. We do not include this information on our belts.
Additionally, please note, the previous date code feature did not authenticate our products. This was for internal use only. We no longer include date codes, as we have transitioned to a digital form of viewing this information internally. The new feature is embedded into our Leather, Good and Small Leather Good products and allows Louis Vuitton to access information such as product reference numbers and product description. We assure you this feature does not contain any client information or purchasing details, nor determine the location of the product."
Aside from the packaging. I would say the buckle is the biggest sign that it’s not real. The real Louis belt buckle is shiny and much thicker than the replica. Which is an easy giveaway. It’s like the scammers didn’t even try to make it look authentic
