True that! But for my needs the range with digital is more than enought And the image quality in you goggles is a game changer - compared to analog. It's up to you to decide - what is your priority :)
Another dope video! I just filmed a paraglider yesterday! Got lucky that they asked me to film but it was my last battery 😟. However I got the crew to go film other times now!
Really enjoy your videos, keep it up bro! I agree with the iflight crystals being much better than stock, I noticed a big difference myself with only the patch part
Duude, such nice shots! congrats! I have also the Crystal coming in a few weeks, also ordered 2 more omi-directionals on top Just in case I need them at some point
Tattu Funfly or R line.. both great choices! 1300mah or 1400mah. Depends on how you fly ofc, anywhere between 5-7 minutes with my action camera mounted. Flying in cold will give you around 20% less flight time though!
@@tomstrojnik cheers bro. I have recently tried the stock strap again and think I prefer the way I can position the goggles on my face with the band that goes over the top of my head 🤔 I’m gonna give the iflight strap a try next for comparison
@@MagicFPV I prefer the Iflight strap, more comfortable for my head haha.. especcialy when I'm not flying and I just have the goggles up on my forehead
Yup, I used them before getting Crystal HD antennas.. and in my opinion Crystal antennas are not only more portable, but they also have better range.. Disclaimer: Not scientifically tested, just feedback from my user experience :D
Yup, before take-off I search for landmarks, that I can memorize.. whatever stands out :) and if you have gps installed, you will see an arrow in your goggles, that points towards you take-off spot
Amazing speedflyer chase flight! But, man, how can you review antenna while running the goggles in the audience mode? The only way to test it is run exact same track with and without it in single 50mbs mode, and than compare goggle's DVR footages side-by-side, even frame by frame. This video was more about how you like it personally, rather than how it performed objectively. Still leaving a like, because i like your channel so much for all the other great cinematic fpv things you share
@@tomstrojnik Thanks for your fast and kindly response. I just purchased the V2 goggle and installed it with Iflight Crysral Antenna. And then yesterday I just watch some review told that the V2 is not suitable with this antenna, now I'm confusing about it. Do you have any idea?
Hey, thanks for the review Does it make a difference indoor? The building i fly in is made from concrete. If i move to iflight patch and aim to the drone, does it make a difference in your opinion?
@@tomstrojnik Thanks mate for your fast respond, no but I am using DJI system including the radio and air unit, I just can't fly behind objectives I lose the signal if I fly behind buildings.
Anyone filmed paragliding already? Share your cinematic fpv tips here🙌
I'm glad that you talked about safety and other concerns. Shows you know your stuff.
Thanks for watching, appreciate it :)
Those nerdy looking glasses are the future i see
The future is already here
Wohooo! That was sooo fun!! 🤩 Soo hyped for the future projects 🚀🚀
Me too, can't wait! :D
this is very clearly explained, keep it up Tom!
Thanks, happy to hear that. Will do!🙌🏻
Anything DJI creates is amazing!
Yup, lately they have been releasing amazing products
clear and precise advice, thank you very much

Nice, Nice and Nice !
Thanks Jeff!
So good ! as always
Thanks a lot Ced!🙌🏻
i still fly analog and thinking sbout to change to dji, but i think you have more range with analog and less latencie

Thanks man! Get a portable LiPo battery charging setup ;)
Mbps = megabits/s, MBps = megabytes/s
8 bits = 1 byte
Nonetheless, great vid 👍
Thanks for clearing it up, didn't know this!!
Thanks for a great explanation 😀

Great video! I use the same Antenna! ;-)
Thanks Luca! They are a game changer!
Good video. Please do some w 50 in not already and compare? Nj
Question on your pair of goggles are there two stubby antennas added also or those come with crystal antenna?
Why did you use axii hd stubby instead of the crystal iflight stubby?
I’m using the Crystal too, and just reviewed them. What do you think to the strap?
Strap is much more comfortable, i like it! Nice review bro!

Thanks Alex! I tried not to think about it :D
Do you think those antennas will work on DJI V2? Great video 💯
No idea, let's see what DJI brings us in 2021 :)
Did you upgrade the air unit fpv antenna? If so what did you get ? Thanks man great vid
I use the ones that come with Chimera7 :)
awesome channel! could you recommend a vtx antenna for the air unit for best range/penetration?
I literally use the stock ones.. Especially the ones from Iflight Chimera7 are amazing!
Do you really think they are better than the truerc xairs?
From my experience... 100% yes!!
are those the v2 fpv goggles? from dji
nope, v1 :)
Thanks for the video bud👍 What is your camera angle when you do long range?
Depends on how fast am I planning to fly.. Anywhere between 25 - 45. Thanks for watching :)
Hi, tell me what goggle power do you have set? I'm asking because apart antenna itself the signal strength matters too :)
700mw in this video :)
Thank you for the video!! Did you compare with true RC X-Air antennas ?
Yup, I used them before getting Crystal HD antennas.. and in my opinion Crystal antennas are not only more portable, but they also have better range.. Disclaimer: Not scientifically tested, just feedback from my user experience :D
Sick Tom! Do you know if we can use this antenna with the dji fpv drone?
Thanks Lucas.. sorry, no idea tbh
Cool, does this antenna works weell even with the DJI FPV drone or just with the Air unit?
Honestly I don't know
@@tomstrojnik I'll try and hope it does ahaha
Do you still consider flying analog sometime or are you completely switched to digital
Nope. Digital has become so good, that I've decided to fully switch :)
I understand. A bit too pricey for me
How do you fligh back home safely ? Do you memorize the point where you are standing ?
Yup, before take-off I search for landmarks, that I can memorize.. whatever stands out :) and if you have gps installed, you will see an arrow in your goggles, that points towards you take-off spot

you said not to fly into the wind but actually long range you DO want to fly into the wind so the current carries you home ;)
I meant on the way back ;)
Hi, May I know if you filming this footage with Iflight Crystal Patch antenna on DJI FPV goggles V2 or V1? Thanks
V1 goggles🙂
@@tomstrojnik Thanks for your fast and kindly response. I just purchased the V2 goggle and installed it with Iflight Crysral Antenna. And then yesterday I just watch some review told that the V2 is not suitable with this antenna, now I'm confusing about it. Do you have any idea?
Does it make the goggles super directional? If you planned to fly around yourself in an area would you be better with the stock antenna?
depends on what's behind you.. I flew 500m behind me on an open area with no problem.. But yes, they are directional
Hey, thanks for the review
Does it make a difference indoor? The building i fly in is made from concrete. If i move to iflight patch and aim to the drone, does it make a difference in your opinion?
The patch will add decent penetration
How do we mount the patch and stubby? The positioning?
it's super easy. It fits logically and perfectly on your goggles, you'll see
@@tomstrojnik No sir i am asking about the antenna connections where to mount the patch and stubby?
@@outboxfpv4360 I have the patch mounted on the bottom and stubby on top
@@tomstrojnik Is that best way to get good range. I see ppl do the reverse also. Is it better than the stock ones
hey dude. do you use crossfire ? or do you think that would work with the dji radio ?
it works with all radios.. honestly it doesn't matter what radio you use .. video transmitter and controller transmitter are two different systems:)
@@tomstrojnik thanks for the quick answer, mate. would you switch to a different radio, as DJI, to gain more range?
Dude, Why can't I fly behind objectives such as trees and buildings? If I can what is the part that I should replace in my setup to do that?

they're not, at least from my experience!

Wasted money. Soooo many "tests" show, thats not worth buying another antennas. all other is your paid oppinion. thats it.
Let's agree to disagree.
Great video bro! do these new crystal antennas work with any drone? like a protek 35?
yes, the work with all dji digital fpv system drones
