Hello Jay!Thanks for all these free inspiring videos.I watched my first dvds of your tricks before 10 years at list and still performing some of my favorite tricks of you to my shows! One of my favorites is still 'leaving home' and Borris Pokus clock with marker prediction!
Hey Jay, Just started back into sleights with coins and cards and had remembered your revolutionary coin magic DVD I used to practice with. Long story short I couldn't find the original DVD so I searched you up and didn't even realize you had become so influential within the RUclips community. I just wanted to say thanks for inspiring me as a youth and continuing to help me evolve as a magician 12 years later. Wishing you the best!
My personal method for marking my cards is the pinwheel marks on the top right corner of the card. Utilizing the clock method on that (with a dot in the middle for JQK and continuing the clock again) plus the "wave" just to the bottom right of the pinwheel for the suits. I've used these cards so often and not once have had anyone realize it. Even after sharing with a friend that they were indeed marked.
This would be great for a mentalism trick too (my favorite type). I'd wave my hand over the cards while "looking for clues" by staring at their face. Thanks, Jay!
for sure, i'm loving my experience with magic so far, and your one of the people i look up to and am inspired by so its awesome to get a reply from you.
I don't do it much anymore, but a good mind-melter is the Marked Deck to the Invisible Deck. I mark my bicycle decks sorta the "normal" way with the top wheels.
Hey jay!! I Love you and the channel and I was wondering if you were going to make some of the things in your inside deception class downloadable over the web sometime. Thanks!!
An idea- for King, instead of making a second mark at the top (which might be kind of obvious) why not make no mark at all on the clock face. No mark = King?
I like this method, but, why you need mark the king on a completely different place than the others? I think the king's mark would be the one, where is no marking on the circle. This way we got a figure and a color area. What do you think about this?
So cool that you're wearing a state champs t-shirt man. They're one of my favourite bands! Gonna get marking decks, maybe just aces for now and we'll see how it goes. Cheers jay!
when i showed this to people when i turned around they actually took their selection back to the deck and replaced one card with a indifferent card so they freaked out when i knew. i played with them for a bit
Using a Clock Face is a great idea. I have, however, met some "younger" people whom have grown up in an all digital world and never learned how to read an analog clock !!! By the way, if I were performing in Australia would I need to mark all the numbers in the OTHER direction? --- Proud member of InsideDeception.com and invite *everyone reading this* to come join us.
C,H,S,D... I recognize that pattern. Good pattern for stacking a deck. Should you mark a stacked deck? Or should you stack a marked deck? Is that redundant? Why do men have nipples? Can I save money by buying different kinds of nuts and mixing them myself? More importantly, this is a fantastic way to mark a deck. I've purchased marked decks in the past and some of them were so obviously marked I never used them because they looked fishy. Something about the dried blood pictograms on the backs gave them away...
I only noticed the Five changing into a One. Didn't catch the switch, just noticed that the Fiver he laid flat on the table became a One after it was unballed up! :-o
Good Video. I wonder if this is a usual way gamble cheaters marking cards? I mean usual or already outdated? Just ask for my curiosity. I'm sorry if I offense anyone.
Wouldn't it be better to just mark the suit only on the King's? Why make a mark at all? If there is no mark on the "clock", you know it's a King... Less of a chance to be caught!
Since you're already selling your tatoo deck, why didn't you make the design so it is already marked, so people do not need to scratch all the cards themselves? :)
I know not everybody wants to work with a marked deck - so (like the 'hidden reveals' that people can use or NOT use) I wanted to give my fans CHOICE. :)
SankeyMagic Haha! Oh well.. you know I'm a *huge fan* and that's all that matters. So huge, in fact, Trump asked me for advice on his wall. 🥁Ba-dum-pish!🥁
The moment I finished this video, I smashed the subscribe button. Time to start freaking out my sister...
Awesome! Great to have you 'on board' Captain!
SankeyMagic i smashed the subscribe and like button after seeing this amazing trick gotta see more of you🔥🔥

Hey, thanks man, and all the best to you and yours amigo.
What a simple and effective way to mark a deck. Thanks for the ideas.
This may be the best Sankey tip yet. Well, this and the disappearing Sharpie trick which totally blows people away.
Awesome!
How many amazing T-shirts can one man have? And how much talent can be found in the man who is inside them? ALOT! Thanks so much, Jay.
Beautiful method, I'll try it soon. Always a joy to watch your videos. 😊
So gracious dood.

this is by far the best ways to mark cards
Everyone who is watching Jay Sankey . . . You will learn so much!
I am stoked for the deck, I ordered 2 because hell yeah!!
You are a genius!!!! HUG FROM ARGENTINA
I love the table you use in these videos.
Loved the video!!! Have you got any tips on where to learn more effects with a marked deck?
Very cool!
As always thanks for your passion!
Barry J
I really liked the performance you did in this video with marked deck. The idea of clock is really great! Thankyou for that! :)
Yah mon!
yesssss thanks Jay I needed to know this , quality again
Have fun with the information (but don't cheat your friends at cards!) :)
Great video!
Subscribed a second after finishing the video. 👌
This would be great for a mentalism trick too (my favorite type). I'd wave my hand over the cards while "looking for clues" by staring at their face. Thanks, Jay!
Have fun bud!
Thanks Jay for an amazing method! The tattoos deck is also amazing! Hello from Peru!
Thanks so much. Gratitude from Canada!
extremely cool, gonna have to take a closer look at this type of magic.
Def do. Sooo many cool tricks are possible with this!
for sure, i'm loving my experience with magic so far, and your one of the people i look up to and am inspired by so its awesome to get a reply from you.
God that marking system is smart, thanks again Mr.Sankey :p
I loved the video, I'm digging the hat "Red Dragon", I've learned a lot from your videos.
im liking the addition of music. nice touch :)
Thanks. I'm slowly trying to make the experience better and BETTER for my fantastic fans.
Thanks for a different idea on marking a deck! Ordered a couple of your decks. Definitely going to try this one one of them.
thx for the order boss.
I don't do it much anymore, but a good mind-melter is the Marked Deck to the Invisible Deck. I mark my bicycle decks sorta the "normal" way with the top wheels.
I use that little flower in the corner but your method is WAY better. Time for me to switch, thanks Jay.
Glad it looks like it will work for ya.
Spectator notices these scratches
Thanks love u. From Indian friend.
Great, great and more great material my good man you!
Aloha!
Hey jay!! I Love you and the channel and I was wondering if you were going to make some of the things in your inside deception class downloadable over the web sometime. Thanks!!
Another thing you can do for the kings is just not mark the value, so the mark for king is the absence of a mark.
Same with the suit. One suit would get no mark.
A clock? But how do I stop myself from becoming hypnotized?
You don't. Just GIVE IN to the hypnosis and explore the limits of your imagination!!!!! ;)
Wooooooaaaahhhh I'm tripping man 🤤🤤🤤.
Deland's automatic card deck comes pre marked and stripped which is nice. But marking up a Bicycle deck is a great idea.
jay i only got one word for you "awesome"
And I've got one for you: "Thanks!"
When is your marked deck coming out?
Holy mackerel did you guys see him turn the 20 to a 5 and then to a 1?!
I know, right? Damn he's smooooth.
Troy Hinojosa
I wish i could do that in reverse
another awesome tip and I've bought the cards so the birthday is complete😎
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!
An idea- for King, instead of making a second mark at the top (which might be kind of obvious) why not make no mark at all on the clock face. No mark = King?
Just got done marking the deck and you can't see it unless you're looking for it..thanks Jay
Noice!!!!!
wow this is innovative i feel good
Are you only marking the top of the cards? What if as he is mixing the deck the tops become the bottom now you have to learn the clock upside down?
I like this method, but, why you need mark the king on a completely different place than the others? I think the king's mark would be the one, where is no marking on the circle. This way we got a figure and a color area. What do you think about this?

Amazing. It's very cool.
when i showed this to people when i turned around they actually took their selection back to the deck and replaced one card with a indifferent card so they freaked out when i knew. i played with them for a bit
you make me laugh so much, love you sankey
i can't click the subscribe button - I'm already subscribed.
Noice!
couldn't u use Sharpie as an alternative way to mark cards !
CHSD is my favourite card order, especially for a certain stack 😉
Oh yeah....
I love your videos. I'm also from Canada. Would you send me one of your custom decks I love them.
Another great one wow!
Thanks Nicholas!

Another epic video, have I still got you thinking of food??
Yes you have. And not just 'any' food....
SankeyMagic Lol
Must have Tattoos Deck!
those marks are very easy to see

Yeah, dried blood is seldom the best way to go with anything.
genius idea
u are freaking great
Thx so much!
thanks, ive used marked cards before, but they seem obvious when it's not a Bicycle deck 😉
The dollar thing was sooo funny !!!
Whew! That makes at least 2 of us that thought it was funny.
Hugs all around!
C'mon, that's totally NOT offensive. ;)
Wouldn't it be better to not mark the king at all? You have 12 possible clock markings and a 13-nth could be nothing
Yeah, that works too.
Will most likely get your deck just for this haha.
:)
I am ready to scare my friends tomorrow
You could perform the trick to perfection but if someone lies about what their card was then you're SOL
That's why it's great to get their FRIEND involved, right? #saveyourbacon
Plus: get them to name their card just before you turn the final card over.
Light to dark difference. Good luck with recognizing that lol
Wouldn't it be better to just mark the suit only on the King's? Why make a mark at all? If there is no mark on the "clock", you know it's a King... Less of a chance to be caught!
Here is a video showing and walking through marking the deck! ruclips.net/video/_PfmRj6S92A/видео.html
Thank me later!

You have. ZHŌNG on your hat. LOL. So you have Wall clock
I thought that was the Red Dragon....
@@daviddegraff5137 Zhōng is Wall clock, and it can mean MIDDLE, Couse Zhōngguo is CHINA.... And Zhōngguo means MIDDLE COUNTRY
WOAH! AM I FIRST?!
Almost! So close bud!
SankeyMagic Haha! Oh well.. you know I'm a *huge fan* and that's all that matters. So huge, in fact, Trump asked me for advice on his wall.
