Daniel, I spoke with Lincoln (pastor of the Presbyterian Church there in Benton) today. He was telling me about the Friday devotional/Bible study your uncle is doing for the workers. It was wonderful to hear that y'all are caring for the folks that work for you both physically and spiritually. Praise the Lord!

I have always held Dan's video productions very high. They are particularly good because he doesn't hide anything, and doesn't rely on promotional material. This may be why the numbers are suppressed, but it makes for great quality. I believe in quality over quantity. The wonderful mix of Dan, his superb Dad, and the ever-entertaining 'T', make for some of the best viewing on Utube.

Evening Granny, missed this video from yesterday. Sorry. I had knee replacement surgery recently and the pain pills must have knocked me out. Daniel your combine is probably due for a major overhaul like Dad's was last winter. Takes money to make money. At least you get to hold it a few days. Congratulations on crossing the 27k viewer mark. You got the BEST CHANNEL.

Beautiful harvest. Got a couple more weeks here in Eastern North Carolina before we start. One thing that will help you in the future with that corn head is a calmer corn head kit. We are on 36in twin rows and some single row and it will make a world of difference feeding and sizing residue and grain sample. Head will work better than it did new surprisingly! Many blessings

Idk if this will help or hurt putting moisture on it but coating them snouts down w wd40 might would help it slide across easier. I know in trackhoes buckets and on my racebikes spraying it down w wd40 would make it where nothing would stick to it and make it so easy to wash off. Maybe wax would help putting wax on a snout or two to see if any diff

My early days of dirt bike riding I learned to replace both sprockets and chain at same time, just throwing on a new sprocket on old chain kills the new sprocket quickly.
Does that rule not apply here also or is just not feasible with that chain run ?

You don’t want to know! I think we farm more acres than Daniel but have about the same kind of machinery. We have to top everything off daily (especially when picking) as you got the combine and the tractor pulling the grain cart running all day. Then you got at least one pick up to pull the header wagon but at least it’s not running all day but you’re also towing so it kills the MPG’s as well. If you run from 9-10am to dark like we do during picking season it’s a lot of fuel😳
