Been sick for few days now , getting better slowly. Definitely listen to your body . Let go of your normal routine. I do a hot soup with veggies and a hot sauce. I take meds when I need them ….. I have to walk a little tomorrow. Not easy this time of year . So cold out and everybody is still out working and shopping sick !! It’s crazy so we definitely have to do our best to stay as healthy as we can especially during the winter time .taking all of our vitamins ,working out and getting good sleep. Mental health is just as important. It can really take a toll on your body, mind and soul. ❤

I completely agree with this philosophy. Lately I've been close to burning out and I've made a point to slow way down. It's so, so important not only for our physical health but also for our quality of life. I'd rather not be exhausted all the time. I'd rather feel good.

So glad you know yourself and can catch yourself early enough to make a change! I wish that upon everyone ❤️

Definitely! Especially when you're working out with a slight niggle or strain. All it takes is one wrong move to tear something, then you can't use that body part for several weeks. Better to just slow things down for the sake of longevity and consistency.

I really should have had this video a month ago. I did not listen to my body, got the most horrible throat infection, and then also went back into things way too fast. End result: I am still having an occasional nasty cold to this day 🙃 If anyone reading this is actually sick, please take Robin’s amazing advise and take the time to get better ❤❤

Placebo effect is super helpful in my daily well being. And also being proactive and listening to your body is great but sometimes it's tough to figure out if I'm taking it easy for the sake of it or if my body is telling me to slow down.

Thanks for always sharing such insightful comments, Nathan! I’m a placebo fan too!!! 👏👏👏 I like results. :)
And from my personal experience: when I am truly sick, it seems that “being lazy” is the most productive thing I can do. If I’m not feeling ill, pushing myself can be a powerful tool. As long as there’s an opportunity to let up once in a while.

Down with a cold. Just enjoyed a salad with my favourite dressing. Letting go off the calorie count when I am down.
