NATIONAL EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS MONTH 2024 (Sept., 4, 2024)

September is National Emergency Preparedness Month. In 2024, the Preparedness Month's theme is, "Start a Conversation." Mike with RICDHH EPCAP will discuss four emergency preparedness related topics for the next four (4) weeks. The topics include:
1. Sep. 1-7: Prepare NOW! Build Emergency Supply kits and Get to know your town/city's Emergency Management office.
2. Sep. 8-14: How and where to set up Alerts and Notifications Now.
3. Sep. 15-21: Create your Family Communication Plan & Gather Important Documents Now.
4. Sep. 22-28: Protect your Home & Know your Neighbors Now.
