If online classes are just not for you, here are some other ways to keep going.
    1) Online speechreading programs. My recommendation is a program developed by the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. You can preview the first lesson at no cost. www.chha-nl-le...
    2) Auditory training programs. My favourite is LACE. See my video about why auditory training is important: • LACE Auditory Training...

I have enjoyed these classes very much and know now how difficult it is .Some words/sentences are easier to understand, others almost impossible. Needs more work!

Wonderful! So glad you found it helpful. The main thing you’ve gained is a foundation in the theory. Now you know how to make educated guesses (with homophene substitution), and which sounds are invisible or difficult to see. After that, it’s all a matter of practice. Keep going! And thanks for the feedback. 🤩

As with the other lessons, having context was what was mostly helpful in helping to red lips. It was tiring having to focus so intently, but it was a lot of fun especially when I got it right!
