I have tried to play note for note what the drums are doing. As you can see I am reading my own transcription from my ipad. It isn't perfectly played but I played as close as I could until I got a decent enough take! This video should give anyone interested a good understanding of what Kevin Parker plays on the recording, both audibly and visually.

Nice work. Now imagine being able to play drums like this, then all the other instruments, have a unique singing voice and compose records that mortals can only dream of writing. Amazing what Parker can do.

KevNoonz overheads plus snare and kick. 4 mics overall. Just used what I had access to at the time.
It’s literally just a 4 bar loop the whole time fun fact he only played 4 bars of a random beat and that’s became the foundation of mind mischief

If you're talking about when I hit the rim of the tom, you'll notice I do that on every 2nd bar of the 8 bar phrase. It's 8 bars repeated all the way through. Definitely in the song.
