I gave it its best possible chance of being able to cool a cpu. And from testing I’ve done, the temperatures in a case with good airflow are nearly identical to an open air bench
I explained it in the video, the base tdp doesn’t really matter. Because your cpu will boost as high as it can to get you the best performance. The max power output of a fully boosted i7 14700 is over 200w which is more power than my little 12700kf can put out. That’s why it’s a relevant test
Bro u saved my life . When i was playing i had high temp and i thaught the cpu cant get that high . And i didnt know that the cooler is so fking bad . Ty bro
The stock cooler would likely work for a low end i5 12th gen but I’d highly recommend the thermalright for those CPUs it’ll keep them nice and cool under any load
@@RednekEngineer Thank you for that information. Do you have a recommendation for an inexpensive cooler for an i7 12700k? From what I understand, the processor doesn't come with a cooler. Thanks!
Also use for 10th gen
do you think it would be sufficient cooling for an i3 12100f? if not what would you recommend for the lowest price possible?
It should be enough for a 12100f
@RednekEngineer ok, thanks
You should've put it in a computer case for a more realistic test. Test bench like that would be cooler.

@@RednekEngineer Fair enough, thank you.
Intel Core i7 12700KF processor not get this cooler in box. This cpu has 125 watts base power.

are these comparable to AMD's stock coolers?
From my experience the AMD ones are slightly better. But it’s hard to get an apple to apples comparison
Great video, so important for the community. Thank you for your hard work on this video.
what about Noctua NH D15S chromax.black cpu cooler?
That’s a great cooler but it’s far from a low budget option at over $100
You got the name wrong, it's a stock cooker. 😄
😂😂

You’re welcome!!

Can I use it with at i7-12700KF?
I would recommend against using the stock cooler with that cpu

@@squirrelattackspidy thermalright peerless assassin 120 is able to cool that cpu pretty effectively.
Really informative video!
thanks!
I am playin with that trash around 9 month. F***.
