Adam, thanks for sharing such an in-depth review of our app! This review really nailed what we are trying to do, and I’m glad you had such a positive first experience! I can’t tell you how much that means to us. :) If you or anyone here has any questions or wants to know about any of the other cool features of the app, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks again!
Landon Wilson great question. The ability to dock tools, options, and layer options is actually in both the Android tablet and Chromebook versions of the app (as well as on iPads). It currently isn’t available for the iPhone or Android phone layout because of the limited space at the top of the screen. Several artists have asked about this though so it is something we are considering for a future release.
JaSolo Gaming there is definitely a lot of overlap between the drawing apps. Infinite Painter started off on Android about 8 years ago and has grown tremendously since then. The biggest difference in our app is its design. It’s designed to be both minimal, extremely functional, and customizable. There are several features that exist in the app that aren’t in a lot of the competing apps. If you’d like me to list a few, I’d be glad to. The biggest thing though is that it’s completely free to try out everything in the app for 7 days. We want people to know what they are getting before buying the app.
@JaSolo Gaming Sure. Some of the main feature we offer are: - Adjustment layers - Ability to clip to a group or add blend modes to groups - Shape tools (these also work in perspective. You can build out cityscapes in no time with the Rect shape in perspective.) - Seamless pattern projects - Virtual transformations (converts layers to ‘Smart Objects’ until edited to keep pixels crisp across multiple transformations) - Reference images - Canvas navigator with black and white support (for value checking) and flip support (for proportion checking) - Lazy guide (pull string stabilizer) and Pen / Path support for clean line art construction - Lasso Fill brushes, Screentone brushes, and colored bitmap support for brushes - Dock nearly any option or tool to the main interface There's plenty more to mention, but this is a decent short list to show what the app offers. Let me know if you have any questions.
Holy hell!! I cant believe this is happening. Ive been using this app ever since the samsung note 7{i think} and now that i own an ipad pro; its still my go to drawing app. I prefer it way more than procreate. It just feels better to me!! Couple of things you guys have to fix. 1. The file save/open menu is a complete mess. Especially opening saved files. Its so annoying. So many multiple time stamps of the same file. Its confusing as hell and so counter intuitive. And file sharing with Instagram is a bit weird too!! Especially when trying to export recorded clips too. That's a whole other mess!! I really like Painter and it has so much potential. The brushes are so much... I dunno... They just feel better than procreate. It feels like im on my cintiq. At times it actually feels better than a cintiq!! Like pencil on paper but more rewarding!! To me it just feels like the perfect sketching app for a tablet.
I saw someone saying, there is absolutely no need to get an iPad for procreate infinite painter was always on android and got a lot of stuff right that procreate didn't yet. After this revelation I got the Samsung tab and never regretted it
Definitely the Procreate for Android. I used it for years on my Samsung Tab A. Certain things are better then Procreate for sure. Really loved the clean UI over procreate.
I am a Procreate user since day one of the app but this review made me feel the need to install this app and you guys guess what happened?...Now I use both apps 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for this review!
I have IP and Procreate, and I absolutely can't deside what is the best one, they both have their strengths and weaknesses but they are both amazing, and if you're drawing on Andriod this is probably the absolute best option. IP at least has a gradient tool and a Lazy mouse (the holy grail of my inkting style ) but Procreate's fluid saving and amazing brush engine keeps me going back to that one. Edit: apparently they have a lasso fill brush and are working on the saving system, so I will probably move back to IP after the next update, lol.
The first time I tried this app on a note phone I was blown away how many features this app has, it's like comparing it directly with the desktop photoshop of how many features it has. And I'm still discovering new features that it has. This is one app that it is absoluteley worth it buying it if you like drawing or editing photo in mobile/tablet/iPad.
Ya I been comparing it with procreate, and Infinite painter just kicks butt, especially with version 7, the nondestructive blending of layers is beautiful.
An honest question? Which is better, procreate or infinite painter? I wanna buy a tab but will get a cheap.ipad only if procreate is better...so I am.just gathering opinions from some people...can you give your own opinion of this is better or procreate?
I've been using this on my phone for a while (mostly to colour in scans of my cartoons) but woah! I had no idea how customisable it was and the gestural features are a lifesaver! Thanks for doing a deep dive on this, you've sped up my process massively.
When I had a Galaxy 10.1" tablet, I would use Infinite Painter, SketchBook Pro, and SkeetchBook Ink every day. Then my battery died and my tablet stopped working. The end.
Cool they finally released it on iOS. It's my personal favorite painting application across all platforms. I just really like how it's organized and it has all the important tools very readily accessible.
Thank you for this! The short cuts on canvas, scaleable color picker, the same luminosity when you change the color, favorites brush and color adjustments sounds exactly like what I’ve been wanting! I’ll be sure to install this for touching up/finishing pieces! Have a great day!! 😊
Best video I've ever seen! Honestly wishing I was a student in your class. I'm just about to get back into illustration. I always wanted to be an artist but put it off in school due to a bad experience with my art teacher. I found this video not only exciting to watch. But I love your art style. I really want to get into a concept style of art. Thank you!
I'm going to have to try this one out. When I was forced to do digital in a figure drawing class I found Graphiter on my Surface Pro. I loved that app because it felt a lot like real drawing compared to other drawing apps I'd used. They recently released that on iPad as well and so I'm a happy camper again. Very minimal app that's just great for a digital sketchbook in my opinion. This looks to be similar in use so I'm excited to see how it goes.
I just started using Infinite Painter today, and I wish I could draw more but my Android tablet is charging. Now I want to sketch more. I use references when drawing, and I think it's a perfect app. I can even adjust the color of my canvas. I enjoy having a gray canvas, that way it isn't harsh on the eyes, and I can see if I missed anything when coloring. 😊 And I realized today that I really admire the Combustion brush in the Glow brush menu. It gave a really nice glowing effect to my character's hair and eyes. Also, you blew my mind when you showed you could slide three fingers to adjust opacity and brush size. That's amazing.
Infinite Painter is one of the better drawing/painting apps to my mind and a solid choice if you want a similar experience on Android and iOS. Also it works with split screen on iOS, which is always a nice feature. I would like to see some improvements, though. Detaching the color picker on iOS is a challenge compared to Android. You get no detached color palette tool on iOS like on Android - why? In the past few updates they also messed up some brushes, especially the Legacy ones: Leo is gone and became a 1:1 copy of Vince. Castell and especially Blackwell used to be so nice in the default settings and look ridiculous now.
@@bstraw53 while that is correct, if you choice to zoom into your drawing you lose sight of your reference. This app also adds your reference to a separate layer stack making layer management easier.
I really love infinite painter. The only drawback I see is that I really sometimes love to paint objects on texture-like materials, but the problem is that the oil/acrylic paint will take up the texture of the material like a crayon would instead of acting like paint on the texture--which isn't really realistic.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. First off, I love your production, your videos are all amazing, and I love your reviews (even when I don’t necessarily agree with some of your ideas, lol). This one, however, was just amazing. I loved how in-depth you got with showing all the settings and everything the app has to offer, and I loved how passionate you became about how intuitive and easy it was. I just downloaded it and before I even played with it I purchased the unlock in support of the developers. Looking forward to spending the rest of the night playing around with this (my Procreate is going to get jealous!). Thanks again for always sharing your honest thoughts and expert tips!
I have had an ipad for two days and have tried several applications. of course the best known as well. But Infinite Painter has amazed me. I just bought it. I think it will give me many joys. Thanks for the video as well !
I’m a designer and i have a some developer friends who look at design as a useless purely aesthetic layer added on top of functionality. Truth is, functionality is a part of design
I call that "computer minded guys". I've know a bunch of them: they love Linux, the command line, and assume everybody understand and know all the commands they are talking about. I've nothing against them, I respect them and appreciate all the knowledge they have, but they don't seem to understand that not everybody look at technology as they do.
Almarma and mor should, some of this is Pompous at it is best. Yet if you ask them anything about their bodies ( Anatomy and Physiology) they would be clue less. So don’t envy them.
Holy smokes Adam! I've always searched for an app like this and this video just randomly popped up in my reccomendations. Thanks a lot man i love your videos
Yeah literally it's great I've used it a lot of times but the only problem I have is the fill bucket tool I still can't get to work I'll contact them they said they fixed it it still doesn't work as planned when I click on it and try to fill up on it does feel sometimes sometimes it doesn't and I can't change the color either it's really a big problem and I don't know what is a serious you don't know what I'm doing wrong but it really does not what I was intended so it's great for drawing and sketching in using off of things but just to feel bucket to is the most annoying thing I don't mind Jordan over by especially if I'm doing a big joint and I want to fill the bucket to make it easier I want to do that it's like is 4 a big problem by Ace because it's a feature that should be there but it's not usable which is just like why
I’m using this app more then procreat it’s my fav app, specially that it really smooth the lines for me and let me control it like a vector path not like procreat that turns the points to sharp points
Finally !!! I can draw normally just like a traditional art !! Cuz I'm actually still sticking with traditional art and I do find hard to start with digital art cuz is ... Um , very overwhelming
Trust me I feel you at first glance it feels overwhelming😅😅. But it depends what software you download some can be complicated and some can be user-friendly for first time users.
Holy crap as a left handed person its amazing that the brush menu/side bar can be detached and pulled to the right of the canvas. No other program on the ipad has done this...
Have been using it on and off for 2+ years. Truly felt the same. Using it on Android. Always thought about what the problem is, since it really feels like nobody is talking about it. It really has it all! Best purchase ever
Oh no this is absolutely amazing.. Only thing is I love the animation integration in procreate. I'm not willing to let go of that. If IP had a feature like that, I would jump ship immediately. Such a smooth interface, and oh god the brushes!
Because it's not an exclusive app to iPads and people need to brag about inferior apps just because they aren't available on Android and say "iOS has a better app library"
I love Infinite Painter, it has the best digital charcoal brushes I've ever used and imo is worth buying just for the Proko brush! This opinion is coming from a huge Procreate fan, also. I use both apps in my work and get different things out of each. Give IP a try!
I realize that this is 3 years old...but it would be cool to see your thoughts on this app 3 years later, if your still using it. For example, I'm having a bit of a difficulty understanding the select tool (in the layer), when you click on it, two icons appear in the top left corner and I'm not sure what they mean or how to turn them off. Just a suggestion, if in fact you are still using the app. Going over some of the other features a bit more in depth would be nice to see as well. There just doesn't seem to be enough tutorials on how to use this app on the web. Many thanks for your time and efforts with this!
I have all the top dog drawing apps....for the price, I picked this one up too. Seriously $7-8 (on sale) is worth just having another fully functional app just for inspiration and working in another environment. The video did help to push me over the top. Good stuff!
Thanks for the review. I always come back to Painter however much I try to switch to Procreate. The Fill Brushes take workflow to a whole new level. It's like sculpting in 2d!
I agree, it's a very great app, it deserves more attention; just like Paintstorm Studio on iPad. However, it have its problems. I used it on Android and it was very crashy. Y also used it on iPad Pro when released and it was also crashy, but not as much as on Android. Maybe now it's more stable, i don't know, i just checked recently their app updates (good ones). I guess i don't use as much because there's son many drawing apps on iPad; the same happens with Paintstorm Studio, such a great app i don't use it... I also had problems importing PSD files, the app crashes. Other formats have no problems. Layer blending modes -not Normal one- seems to slowdown the app a little. Texture on canvas slowdown the app a LOT; it's a pitty, because it's a good feature. When you exit the app, the colorwheel disappears, you must drag out it again when you restart the app; luckyly the top bar preserves your shorcuts. I guess Artstudio Pro is in general the best option. It also have the finger dragging to change size/flow/opacity, but only one finger is needed; is disabled by deffault. Also have a clean drawing interface with personalized shortcuts on top. The fav brushes category too, it works just like Infinity Painter (such a great idea). The brush engine is very good. By deffault it saves to iCloud own folder; if you have the app on Mac, you can use your drawing on Mac or iPad as you wish with ease; like Affinity apps. So many digital arts apps on iPad; Procreate it's very good too, and very inmersive. I also checked this week Affinity Photo, it's also very good for painting; in adition to its many editing tools. Their UI is a mess, too many taps and drags to make anything. But you also have -like Photoshop- many brush controls at only 1-2 taps. Their brush engine is also very good, and the app is very fast and works well with big canvases. Adobe have a long way to be competitive on iPad.
Haha this video was freaking perfect! You sold this to me right away with your casual charm and passion for the app. But as a French Canadian it was the "Ben la" that won my heart😂
For me, infinite painter is the combination of Adobe Fresco, and Procreate with their collective flaws fixed (at least for me.) It is absolutely magnificent and honestly got addicted to it for little haha!
Just downloaded this and OH MY GOD it’s SO GOOD !! Immediately also paid for the full version bc it was only 10 bucks. So GOOD! It’s probably gonna be my go to app for sketching and doodling because the brush engine is so much nicer than procreate’s. I’m not sure that it will replace procreate for me because I like a very cartoony clean style for my final work, and I can get that really easily with procreate. And since procreate 5 released I can also animate on the fly. But DANG this is one fine drawing app 💙💙💙 thank you for the tip!
@@nathanhollow0 thank you!! And yeah I think it's just personal preference. Proceate can definitely do more but Painter has some really great responsive brushes
yeaaa the procrate brush engine erked the shit out of me, i dont think i have the willpower to try and get it to work for me when i can just use... a more familiar brush engine lol too bad it took uying the app to realize that
IP on a 14" Tab 8 Ultra. Just wonderful. Actually I first used IP about 6 years ago and it was not quite there, had some stability issues and I forgot about it. But then the buzz finally reached my ears and I realized they have massively improved this app.
Yes I’m with you about this program - only 1 thing... When you drag out the color wheel with your 2 fingers, only the color wheel separates from the menu. In Procreate 5, you can drag out all of the palette setups. I really wish that Infinite would have that capability.
I have been using this app at 50% capacity after years of having this app 😅😭 Every video about this app of the person is using this app to draw... I am like..."omg it can do that???!!!!"
Great, in depth review. I used to use this on my Galaxy, but ended up back on iPad (with Procreate as the go-to). I’m definitely checking out the latest version of IP. Subscribed.
The first app that just allows me to have a large button (or even better - a resizable button ) to hold / tap (like the option key on a keyboard) and quickly eyedrop a color wins my heart forever.
I’m definitely going to have to try that app out, I just got my first iPad, the new iPad Pro 12.9, and have started using Procreate when I remembered this video you had made. Can’t wait to check it out!
Wow, I have absolutely no use for this app, but I can still recognise how well designed it is. Not many apps truly use the touchscreen this well, they’re still stuck trying to make pretty UIs rather than useable ones.
The fundamental reason people are not talking about this app, and why it is NOT comparable to Procreate, which I’ve been using since 2012, is that it is unstable, crashes frequently. Sometimes you will lose your work. At other time you won’t. Has potential, which is sadly not realised due to the instability.
I still think it is the best app for android too, it still lacks some tools but they are improving with the time. Regarding the color picker, on the main settings you can assign the color picker to the finger touch, still not perfect but it makes the workflow a bit smoother.
Adam, I am a rank beginner in digital media. I am a self taught artist and work in pencil, pen and Ink, and watercolor. Last year I bought an Ipad to begin working digitally and until recently there it remained. Transitioning is hard work if you didn't grow up using digital mediums and you are a fine artist. Most of the work I see is anime, graphic imaging or illustration. It's hard to find traditional or abstract pieces. This Fall I began using Procreate and ran into some issues learning the basics of digital art. Most tutorials leave out the very basics of how to use media such as this. They think they cover everything. They don't. There is a basic assumption that you have a digital foundation. I have even purchased courses that promised to train beginners and then they hope all over creation and never touch the basics. So, I watched you and thought that I would give Infinite Painter a try once I saw that you could actually use a pencil on a slant. But now, I'm lost. I started playing with a first piece on Infinite Painter and now I can't find my way out of it. I have no idea how to create a second piece of work, nor can I find instructions on how to do so anywhere. I tried saving this and it wouldn't work. I find fast tutorials on brushes and changes but nothing on the basics. I hope you can help me find a beginning somewhere. I have listened to some of your pieces on art and find them inspiring and very helpful. That's why I followed through on this. I can see from playing for a few minutes that this is a very interesting App. I simply can't figure out how to actually use it. I never did find the gallery and when I tried to save something it didn't work. The tutorial was hard to exit also. I still have no idea how I got out of that either. I'm truly lost and it's very frustrating. Help! And thank you so much.........
it's also on the android and it's such an incredibly great app, and still nobody seems to be talking about it and it's weird cos it really doesn't get any better
Thanks for the positive review of Infinite Painter as I've been using it on Android since going digital as we've had to put up with cutdown versions of Sketchbook and Artrage and I really like the drawing tools on Sketchbook and painting tools on Artrage but felt like second class citizens on Android.
Best app I everd used... it's simpler than CSP and one lifetime subscription. And I made amazing sketches that I didn't believing that I could make. It worths every cent I paid. I recommend 👌 it
Boy, the color picker on finger touch was exactly what was painfully missing for me drawing on tablet compared to desktop and using keyboard. I would never have figured that out cause I never would havd guessed it existed in any app. Thanks so much for this review
I have the galaxy tab s7 plus and obviously there isn't a way I can download procreate so I downloaded artair and experimented with digital drawing for the first time and I love it. The problem is that I'm a portrait artist and that app though its okay it has so many limitations so I looked around for a replacement and found this app and never looked back. My work has not only improved but its a hell of a lot more safer for me as I was using oil paints and solvents but I only have only 1 Lung and that is cancerous. Also I can pick it up, paint for 20 minutes and put it away without having to clean brushes and palettes 🎨 sat in a freezing cold room because I needed the window wide open.
Brushes kills procreate, structure function, brushes are 3d, watercolor? Amazing...procreate are joke with this...filters? You can make brush which works like graphic filter...much more stuff than in procreate. If You want to have better brushes in procreate (which still sucks) you must to pay...🙉
Although ProCreate have some better features, I do agree that overall, Infinite Studio is way better. At the beginning, ProCreate got a big marketing push from Apple at one of their Keynotes. If Infinite Studio is not putting enough money on marketing, no matter how good or better they are, unfortunately this app will finish die which is very sad.
i like infinite painter so far, but i do miss photoshop a lot :( been using it all my digital art life, so it's like losing a buddy. clip studio paint is close to photoshop, and they have it on android now, but nothing will touch photoshop. i like that infinite painter still has clipping masks and a timelapse option. plus the UI is nice and simple.
Why didn't I have this on my ipad?? I had this app on a galaxy note tablet like 4 years ago and it has improved so much since then! Downloading it on the ipad now, thank you for your videos man!
To get the most of your iPad you have to buy multiple apps. Which is fine since they all cost around 10 bucks. And even the Affinity apps really aren’t that expensive considering what they do. Infinity painter is good, and it’s good on android too.
You can change the light not only with apple pencil you can do this with your finger too! How? If you want your pen to became lighter make your hand lighter like dont give energy or power ad if you want to make your line darker then do opposite

I really love infinite painter. The only drawback I see is that I really sometimes love to paint objects on texture-like materials, but the problem is that the oil/acrylic paint will take up the texture of the material like a crayon would instead of acting like paint on the texture--which isn't really realistic.
Just ajust the Adesion setting in stroke category.
Thanks again for always sharing your honest thoughts and expert tips!
i don't have an ipad nor do i paint digitally, but your charming lovely honest personality makes your vids so educational and entertaining. thank you!
@@mosijahi3096 No, no, I don't envy them. I respect them, I don't want to be them ;)
Almarma great to hear that😀
Holy smokes Adam! I've always searched for an app like this and this video just randomly popped up in my reccomendations. Thanks a lot man i love your videos
So far I like this better than Procreate. The pencils feel better and the watercolor is way better. Thanks for the recommendation.
This app is great I love it so much. Definitely needs more attention then its currently getting
Wildernessbox I’m fairly certain that there’s a left/right handed toggle in procreate if that helps you out :)
@@fwaters39 Yes, there is. The latest version has a floating colour section too.
I use this on an android device, and its increasingly replacing my photoshop professional work.
Have been using it on and off for 2+ years. Truly felt the same. Using it on Android. Always thought about what the problem is, since it really feels like nobody is talking about it. It really has it all! Best purchase ever
There is a few things I like about procreate(when does it save? its so fast!) but overall the tools of Infinite painter are SO awesome!
Oh no this is absolutely amazing.. Only thing is I love the animation integration in procreate. I'm not willing to let go of that. If IP had a feature like that, I would jump ship immediately. Such a smooth interface, and oh god the brushes!
There is no animation....
@@SeseBSB thats literally what he said bro are u good
Because it's not an exclusive app to iPads and people need to brag about inferior apps just because they aren't available on Android and say "iOS has a better app library"
Bruh just downloaded this program, it's lit, thanks for letting us know!
I love Infinite Painter, it has the best digital charcoal brushes I've ever used and imo is worth buying just for the Proko brush! This opinion is coming from a huge Procreate fan, also. I use both apps in my work and get different things out of each. Give IP a try!
Even when you are just testing the brushes you come up with a cool abstract painting
I love this app. Try the watercolours. Amazing!
Wow. Why has no one told me about this? Thanks for this! I’ve been with procreate for years. Going to get into this more!
Looks Exciting. I’ve already downloaded the app, and will test it out tomorrow. Thank you.
I have all the top dog drawing apps....for the price, I picked this one up too. Seriously $7-8 (on sale) is worth just having another fully functional app just for inspiration and working in another environment.
The video did help to push me over the top.
Good stuff!
Boop! Love the sound effects! Going to try out this app right now! Thanks ❤
And ArtRage...love it, love it more on desktop!
Thank God someone else talks about this amazing app
Haha this video was freaking perfect! You sold this to me right away with your casual charm and passion for the app. But as a French Canadian it was the "Ben la" that won my heart😂
Good recommendation. Never heard about the app before. Just purchased it. 👏⭐️👍
For me, infinite painter is the combination of Adobe Fresco, and Procreate with their collective flaws fixed (at least for me.) It is absolutely magnificent and honestly got addicted to it for little haha!
I miss the old UI... The newest app update made me relearn again
:O love your art. i was iffy about him saying this is better in some aspects than procreate since everyone loves procreate. nice input!
@@nathanhollow0 thank you!! And yeah I think it's just personal preference. Proceate can definitely do more but Painter has some really great responsive brushes
yeaaa the procrate brush engine erked the shit out of me, i dont think i have the willpower to try and get it to work for me when i can just use... a more familiar brush engine lol too bad it took uying the app to realize that
Oh hello, do you have any community i can join for me to learn the app more? I'm just generally confused. And love your art, i subbed ❤️
You can actually dock the palette outside of the color picker menu, it's a button in the 3 dot drop down menu.
Funny, I've watched Proko videos so much over the years when you mentioned him the whistling theme went of in my head.
I have been using this app at 50% capacity after years of having this app 😅😭 Every video about this app of the person is using this app to draw... I am like..."omg it can do that???!!!!"
is it safe?
@@rashracer27 not sure what you mean by safe 🤔

Thanks for the great video! I use it since a few days on my Android tablet. 🙂
And BTW thank you very much for your lesson and sharing your experiences. I have this app but not seriously used it yet. Now I will.
I use to use this App on The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 i could make very good art on it despite the limitations Android had when it came to drawing.
just downloaded it. Thanks so much for sharing the fruits of your hunt.
Great, in depth review. I used to use this on my Galaxy, but ended up back on iPad (with Procreate as the go-to). I’m definitely checking out the latest version of IP.
Subscribed.
Watched, downloaded and loving it! Thank you!
The first app that just allows me to have a large button (or even better - a resizable button ) to hold / tap (like the option key on a keyboard) and quickly eyedrop a color wins my heart forever.
Dan Jaworsky joyful period :)
I’m definitely going to have to try that app out, I just got my first iPad, the new iPad Pro 12.9, and have started using Procreate when I remembered this video you had made. Can’t wait to check it out!
Didn't know i wasn't the only one person who doesn't like to go through menus for the color picker, am not alone anymore ha!

@@littleripper312 The color wheel ;)
Duude, what a great video! Really helpful.
Wow, I have absolutely no use for this app, but I can still recognise how well designed it is.
Not many apps truly use the touchscreen this well, they’re still stuck trying to make pretty UIs rather than useable ones.
Jamielol UX ! :]
noted and bookmarked for next years purchase of the Ipad. Thank you for sharing and present this app!
The fundamental reason people are not talking about this app, and why it is NOT comparable to Procreate, which I’ve been using since 2012, is that it is unstable, crashes frequently. Sometimes you will lose your work. At other time you won’t. Has potential, which is sadly not realised due to the instability.
People aren't talking about it because of the Procreate momentum. Everybody's talking about that one.
Immediate liked and subbed! Thank you so much for the video.

I use painter cause I couldn't afford an iPad but over all I like using painter
I still think it is the best app for android too, it still lacks some tools but they are improving with the time. Regarding the color picker, on the main settings you can assign the color picker to the finger touch, still not perfect but it makes the workflow a bit smoother.
Would love a follow up in 2021; version 7 released a few months back is even better ❤️❤️
could it not be?
No.
Pretty late but I think to partially access the gallery u need to "Open" a new Project from the top right
It’s a great app and it’s on Android . This changes the game for Android Tablets .
it's also on the android and it's such an incredibly great app, and still nobody seems to be talking about it and it's weird cos it really doesn't get any better
I recommend 👌 it
I didn't know this app was on apple products, I am now considering moving to an iPad from my Samsung tab S3
How's the performance? Is it coded in Metal api like Procreate and Artstudio Pro? btw great video Adam!
Boy, the color picker on finger touch was exactly what was painfully missing for me drawing on tablet compared to desktop and using keyboard. I would never have figured that out cause I never would havd guessed it existed in any app. Thanks so much for this review
Totally agree with you! I've used Procreate before and was totally blowned away when I tried this one. Easy and simplistic! Good review thanx!
I forgot I had this app, thanks for reintroducing me to it. What a fun and user friendly app.
I knew saving up for the iPad Pro was a good idea this is amazing!
If Infinite Studio is not putting enough money on marketing, no matter how good or better they are, unfortunately this app will finish die which is very sad.
i like infinite painter so far, but i do miss photoshop a lot :(
been using it all my digital art life, so it's like losing a buddy. clip studio paint is close to photoshop, and they have it on android now, but nothing will touch photoshop. i like that infinite painter still has clipping masks and a timelapse option. plus the UI is nice and simple.
Why didn't I have this on my ipad?? I had this app on a galaxy note tablet like 4 years ago and it has improved so much since then! Downloading it on the ipad now, thank you for your videos man!
i love this thorough review! thanks, man! i'm definitely going to check this out.. about ready to drop clip studio.
I went nuts over these brushes and paints! They are incredible! As for vs Procreate? WHO CARES! I’m keeping them BOTH
To get the most of your iPad you have to buy multiple apps. Which is fine since they all cost around 10 bucks. And even the Affinity apps really aren’t that expensive considering what they do. Infinity painter is good, and it’s good on android too.
Yuuuuuus! Been using thing for a couple of years now. Love it. Although it's a bit wonky on android.
Maniac Sztrekson : Ihave been very frustrated trying to learn Procreate, even with skill share and tutorials. I hope this app is easier to understand?
You can change the light not only with apple pencil you can do this with your finger too! How? If you want your pen to became lighter make your hand lighter like dont give energy or power ad if you want to make your line darker then do opposite
