They definitely hired veterans or are veterans themselves to do the radio chatter. Almost everything was on point.
Except the way they said their call signs....
They kept saying them backwards. That, and where's C/S 0 telling them to stop saying "repeat" over the means. Goddamn dudes, it's "say again" unless you want arty to blow something up again.
@@thejonathan130 yep thats why i said almost. But you got to admit they were almost perfect when compared to other games. Their radio calls actually made sense unlike other entertainment media where soldiers just say random tacticool things for no reason.
@@-R.E.D.A.C.T.E.D- The only reason it bugs me so much is because for the most part these same mistakes don't appear as much in the rest of the game. but yeah It's much better than most other movies and games. The radio transmissions are little stories on their own. It's an amazing easily overlooked detail.

Research also helps, also you never know what protocols or changes could be made to an army that makes them change how they address themselves.
This is the kind of thing I want in COD. It’s professional and it sounds like these guys immerse you into the game. Working along side this is exhilarating tbh
Unfortunately they're going for a younger much more immature market nowadays and everyone who wants immersion gets shit on

Honestly hearing them describe the two vehicles as Mercedes G-Class’ kinda surprised me, especially since it’s background chatter. There’s hardly ever any branding in the og MW games besides weapons and Oakley gear, so hearing that kinda grounds you into the game a bit more. Nice.

@@timothytimothy4854 hmm I do think they were originally intended to be American Ultranationalists in a similar sense to Makarov's Inner Circle, a movement that rapidly expanded with the Nuking in the first game and the tepid response to it and seeming attempt to Nuke the US, and grown by magnitudes more by ww3.
Imagine if CoD MW 3 had you go against Ultranationalists in both the US and Ultranationalist Russia? All the while Tactical and Strategic Nuclear warfare engulfs the entire world.
Rather than facing off against one bad actor in Makarov who's responsible for all the current problems, and random Invasion of Europe which was apparently for Plot reasons Neutral.

The 'decryption code' allowed them to listen in on Shadow Company's radio chatter, right?
@@Quick_footy1 yea
Did you just say "Price". Thats Captain Prices name.
why do I feel satisfied while listening to this
Shadow company Legit sounded like a secret company within the U.S Army . Like I got that vibe from playing mw2. But Idk why mw19 made them into a mercenaries.
Edit: people are saying from the get go (Mw2 original) that they were PMCs . If that’s so , it must be a big coincidence they’re all American . Besides when price and Soap are later regarded as most wanted . It makes more sense to have that status by killing American soldiers then just secret PMCs / mercs .
Another person mentioned that shepherd hired them via the blank check the U.S gov gave him . There is no way Shepherd was able to hire shadow company and set up a command base in Afghanistan in one day . August 14th is when he got the blank check . August 15th is when we first see shadow company in the boneyard in Afghanistan, same with the end of the mission on “loose ends” . August 16th is when price and soap enter site bravo to kill Shepherd. Again I just think , like TF 141 . Shadow company was shepherd’s personal company in the U.S army made up of elite soldiers he chose. Realistically if they were mercs , they wouldn’t be so official you know , they’ll be wearing they’re own clothes and gear . Not in uniformity. Like who wears all black with tan in the Desert area of Afghanistan.
Maybe because they were actually Mercenaries, it's just the game didn't do a good job telegraficking it to the player
They are a PMC under Shepard and later, Harker. They are professional mercenaries.
Shadow Company are mercenaries hired by General Shepherd. If you remember, there was a cutscene with the Secretary of Defense and Shepherd after the White House mission and they offered Shepherd a blank check, so he can spend it on anything he needs. There's also a dialogue in the game files where a Shadow Company mentioned about their paycheck, further implying they're hired mercs.

Pretty crazy how while these guys are talking bout getting paid and having no ROE to target both hostile resistance or civilians, MW2/MW3 is still going on in the states and soldiers are fighting for their country and lives. I like the duality pictures here
Shadow Company was/is a Private Military Contractor, so the way their radio chatter is here pretty much fits but the ones doing the lines are most likely all veterans but they probably had to change the way they communicated in the game in order to not get any issues Warhammer the military

Excelente trabajo, amigo! Me calé todos los audios. Es increíble lo inmersivo que son y lo detallista que es este hermoso juego. En plena batalla no prestas atención, pero esto le da un nivel de realismo que ningún otro FPS tiene.

Sure, everyone recognizes Troy Baker, but NO ONE seems to know Brian Bloom (Mongoose-2) has been in almost all of these games and more, like as BJ Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein
