I knew instantly that this won't be a long video haha. I had similar one myself 15 years ago, it was the most reliable car I've ever had. Rusts like crazy on the back end, but the engine and drivetrain will never stop working.
I still see some often in my country cars like these,Tanks with wheels and to go to groceries. Another example of cars if you want you can make them last forever. Nice video like always.
This beautiful Toyota has not aged at all visually and technically. Shock mounts, side members are good... If parts and accessories are available for it, this Corolla has a long ride ahead of it.
In my family we are still having 1993 Toyota Corolla 7th generation with 2E engine who we bought brand new. Still runs like a charm. Only body panels rust and clear coat falling but it will drive you anywhere without problem. Last year we removed the original brake discs and drums on 179000 km. On 180 000km. I've changed the ball joint just of assure myself my wheels is not going to pop-up in some corner, but only the rubber boot was torn and the ball joint was good. Sure we will not see such cars anymore I can guarantee you that.
We had those cars in the US. They were called corolla FX-16. They were built in California in a plant owned jointly by Toyota and General Motors. It was built for the 1987 and 1988 model yr.
Of course the brakes and all the lights work. It's a Corolla! I owned the AE82 5 door liftback version, excellent car. Then 3 more Corollas, and I still own one. Most reliable cars ever. Love all your videos. 😊
11:42 Sounds awesome. My dad owns a 1.33 mk3 yaris (UK). We have had it 9 years this december. Absolutely bombproof. Its about as reliable as it gets. The only issues we ever had is the battery has died a couple of times but that was not the cars fault either time and once the throttle got a bit sticky but that was because of constant stop start driving and was still driveable so it wasnt a breakdown. Best little car we have had.
@rabiaelmasri5513 nah the first time it was because the battery was just old and hadn't had a good charge in while and the second time was quite recently and it was a shame because the battery was relatively new. What happened was my dad trickle charged it and found out the hard way you aren't supposed to do that with newer batteries.
1986 Toyota Corolla Japanese vehicle never die they run for ever till whole vehicle fall apart very cold outside snow awesome video best mechanic in the world friend happy new year 2024
In malaysia we call it TOYOTA STARLET GL 1.3 year early 1980 , my first car i drove is toyota KE-10 1968 my daddy car , my own car is Morris marina coupe 1275 cc mini clubman engine , assemble by automobile manufacturers industry of malaysia in 1972.
So nice of you to give the BMW a break and let something else pull the car out of the snow. 😂 I also enjoyed that the engine is carbureted but the fuse for the engine controller is labeled “EFI”. 😂
It's rallye time!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁 😅😅 This car was sold here in the U.S. as the Toyota Tercel. My uncle had one....until he wrecked it. He was OK. Very reliable car! Good work getting it running again!
This thing actually sounds great! The exhaust sound is amazing for a Corolla, especially one of this age. It may be missing parts of the exhaust, but still.
My 2007 Toyota Camry CE 5 Speed Manual Transmission has 283,000kms at around 300,000kms I'll be replacing the Transmission. Unfortunately I'm driving it through this Winter i just hope it doesn't start to rust from the salt I'll be buying an 03-08 Corolla with a Manual Transmission as a Winter beater for next Winter. So I can store my Camry through the cold days and only drive it in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Toyota's are the best cars, they're reliable and I love them.
I've owned (and still own) many Toyotas especially these old Corollas and you can't kill them. They'll be around after we're all gone haha, wonderful cars
What are your thoughts on an isuzu trooper 2.6l cylinder with manual transmission. 2 doors (rs) version, 216k, very little rust on the external body but not on the frame. It was serviced randomly by my cousin. Abandoned years, brought it out to life recently, seems to run fine, but I don't want to get crazy money on it, just basic maintenance. ¿Should I rescue it?
@@tomorrowcomestoday1621 The achilles' heel of the Trooper was its automatic transmission, they were VERY prone to failure so with a 5 speed they were great utility vehicles. Make sure the head gasket is good and if so it would be a reasonable vehicle to fix up (just don't go nuts cuz they're not worth too much). Depending on what country you live in getting parts can be a little tricky because Isuzu has backed out of the US market.
I owned a Starlet EP71 1984 with this engine 2E-C w/o Cat. 75 HP ..2nd gear about 95 km/h up to nearly 7000rpm until Rocker arms began to block, than 3td gear without clutch..fantastic rev. engine.. never had such quickly engine at this time.😅💪💪💪...drove faster than 4A-C (1.6) engine..this was not so quick than 2E (1.3)
A car that is almost 40 years old, and still will get you to the place. Toyota's Never Die 💪
Like almost any car from videos. Toyota is nothing special, just using old checked solutions
Is quite awesome that this little car was able to get going with little trouble. Love watching you Flexiny getting these little cars going again. 😍 😊
The rust at least used to be quite hard on them. Mechanically they are very reliable!
super, your videos are the best, hello from Ukraine
Plurals don't get apostrophes.

Toyota IS Toyota my brother 💪😎
These Corolla are indestructible! Over 340k kilometers and the engine stills runs smoothly, amazing and beautiful cars👍
Your engine needed valve ( manual ) adjustment?, at how much km? ¿
@@tomorrowcomestoday1621 I currently don’t own a Corolla E8 myself, I was referring to the one in the video.
Old Japanese gasoline engines never die! Very indestructible and reliable!
New Japanese engines too very reliable
Эти Тойоты очень любили . очень шустрая экономичная машинка. Класс!
I still see some often in my country cars like these,Tanks with wheels and to go to groceries.

Nice video like always.
20:33 After this warm-up and training, you should change the oil and filters for this wonderful car. This engine will last forever.
This beautiful Toyota has not aged at all visually and technically. Shock mounts, side members are good... If parts and accessories are available for it, this Corolla has a long ride ahead of it.
Тойота-управляй мечтой.

Yeah and the in 2009 Toyota sell the factory and that became the first Tesla factory.

The battery probably died because u left some sort of light on probably by accident

Is that original carb in this corolla ? Look like mistubishi carb. We called it Piston Carb from Proton wira/Iswara 12 V Carburator
