They could have done SO MUCH with Be Prepared. The performance that the animators and the voice actor for scar (I believe it was Jeremy Irons but I’m not sure) was fantastic and with the newer technology we have at our fingertips Disney certainly could have done so much more than the poor excuse for a song they gave us. I’m still pissed off at them for removing Jafar’s song from Aladdin too (tho not as much because in my opinion his acting was a little dull) but the fact that they had the nerve to rIP ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE, WELL KNOWN, FANTASTIC VILLAIN SONGS FROM SUCH A MASTER PIECE IS HORRIBLE. I’m sorry I’m over reacting

My tastes with these covers can be incredibly fickle...but I am in love with this one...I think it's that you've managed to capture all of Scar's best aspects. Charisma, cruelty, cunning, sheer evil, and brilliance. That and the instrumentation is fabulous.

After getting a short stupid version of "Be Prepared" in the new film. I find this, and ask myself, why you were not cast as Scars voice.
honestly... Scar was the worst part of the new film. It's really sad. Oh, and the hyenas. Just awful. I loved everything else tho, especially Pumba.
Whoever cast Scar in 2019 did a terrible job; and I’m not saying that makes the actor bad, but just a poor choice for Scar. His VA lacked the bitter malice Scar was known for and a lot of Scar’s most memorable lines were just completely lacking the fire he should have had.
I am STILL salty about that.

If I can offer a bit of constructive criticism... the levels need adjusting. The instrumentals totally overpower the vocals, making it difficult to make out the lyrics.

Epic version! You served it as much justice as possible. It's not an easy song, as it requires you to show the dark side of Scar, and how he was so very mentally unstable, causing these dark thoughts and actions. You found the dark side, and made it darker! Good job!! Also couldn't help myself from editing subtitles - hope you'll accept them.

I think the reason why Disney didn’t want to have the original be prepared in the lion king 2019 is because they didn’t want to traumatized kids with realistic goose stepping hyenas.

Ok hear me out, I’ve got the cast for the next Disney movie. The princess will be annapantsu, her brother (the prince) will be Thomas Sanders, Caleb Hyles will be the awesome villain, Elleth will be the queen, Caleb will also double as the king, Jon Cozart will be Thomas’ character’s love interest, and screw it, the entire thing will just be music.
