      Yea I know your deals are a lot less. I'm always hunting in many different places and it helps the bottom line and to be able to help keep store growing. I look no for less steals since I've built the store so much etc.

    Whoa! That was a long VLOG! Been awhile since you broke 1 hour. With all of that sorting and organizing getting done you might have some free time on your hands... NOT! As a buyer I've been very lucky - no chewed up parts so far! As a seller (and after seeing many times when you get bad parts), I check parts multiple times including as I pack the order. 37:50 "Snakes, why did it have to be snakes!" LOL Have a great day!

    52:47 LEGO no longer produces the "brown" color as of 2004, just like they no longer produce the "light gray" and "dark gray" colors. So any part introduced after 2004 cannot be in the "brown" color, just "reddish brown" and "dark brown."

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад +1

      Correct and its a little tricky because some set sin 2003 have new colors and some have old ones.

  • @RalphsBricks
    @RalphsBricks 3 года назад +1

    When you were looking for the valid colors of that part you went to the sets page and scrolled through all the sets and colors. An easier way to see known colors for the part. Right next to the Price Guide tab is the Color Info tab. There is a column on the right called known colors that list all the colors officially available for that part.
    Also with the recent resurrection of BrickStore when you select a part it now only shows known colors that part is available in instead of all the colors.
    As a side note, I hope you're getting paid handsomely for all the ads I watched on this video. I'm finding it doesn't pay to watch videos within hours after release on RUclips, especially long ones like this cause they overdo it on the ads (like one every 2-3 minutes). I find if I wait a day the ads are less annoying. This only happens when I watch on Apple TV or my Roku. On my Ad Blocking browsers I get no ads ;)

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад

      Sweet. Thanks for the info. I have no idea how many ads come it. I do not adjust any of that. All I know is it should only come up every 8 minutes. Not sure why yours are so much more. I will say I will do just fine without the ads but is a nice extra bonus I guess. Maybe I should adjust to have them less....idk

    Just wondered if you sold many used parts or is it mainly new? (Excluding minifigures of course)
    Thanks again 👍

    • @PopsBlockShop

      Certainly the used parts do not move as fast as New, but I do sell a lot of them. I mainly add them to help draw more sales into the store. I want to be at the top of list in wanted list for most parts etc.

      @@PopsBlockShop that’s great. I have a lot of used complete sets that I was going to sell. However, have been following you model and have sold most of the minifigures now. I’ll start uploading the sets soon.
      Thanks replying once again; wishing you lots of continued success with your store.

    Ok so i bought some minifigure from a store, and each piece of the minifigure came in its own bag, and then all the pieces in a bag. I ordered 11 figs so you can do the math. But i can reuse the bags at least.

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад +1

      Oh wow. They are extra careful with those figs! YES I do like the extra bags to reuse for sure but just seems overkill in my opinion.

    I love buying and selling on bricklink but some sellers could care less about quality control and describing parts. I specially dislike the sellers that think they can sell something for cheaper, not describe the condition and expect you to be happy with a chewed up piece just because you payed less! Sad to say a lot of big stores knowingly sell damaged parts without describing and get away with it! I use to let it go until I noticed it frequently happening. Now I always complain and sending pictures right away is key to a quick refund in my experiences. I don’t complain about scratches or dirt on used parts unless print is missing. I always complain about cracks, bite marks, multiple nicks, and noticeable fading.

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад +1

      GREAT COMMENT! Yes you should complain about damage when not described. I do about 75% of the time and get a refund etc. It is not hard to type in DAMAGED in description when listing it. I have no problem cleaning items when there is no actual damage.

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад +3

      I just don’t understand how so many sellers seem to think it is ok to sell garbage. It hurts bricklink because first time buyer may never come back to bricklink if they have a bad first experience.

    • @leeatkin9583

      @@PopsBlockShop Could not agree more, as sellers it is slighty harder to sell decent used parts (esp minifigs parts) but some of the parts you have got over the last few vlogs are quite laughable.....just not in a good way!

    • @PopsBlockShop
      @PopsBlockShop  3 года назад +1

      @@leeatkin9583 I know right. Very obvious between time they list item and than pull it and put in baggie they gotta see the damage. My motto is if you question the quality at all. DO NOT SELL IT. Unless you add a note it’s damaged.
