    We hiked the Milford Track in 2005. Lovely weather & down right hot at times we swam in the rivers to cool down
    One of my favorite memories ♥️ and the loo with a view was fun

    At least you admit you snore. My mum when went hiking got up after snoring the entire night and claimed she hadn’t slept. So annoyed as I know she slept as I didn’t get any sleep

    You forgot to mention the killer sandflies :-)

      @triggerhappytrails  6 лет назад +1

      Surprisingly didn't see many at all! Even at sandfly point. I think it was too cold for them.

      @@triggerhappytrails yes we just got back and we were eaten alive especially near the water, was shorts and t-shirt weather for most of it. Shame you had cloud on the pass. Thanks for sharing your video.

      Sandflies at Milford are a marine insect. It rains that often and that heavy they don't know where the sea ends and the sky starts.

    Hi guys I would like to know what month of the year you would recommend me to visit this beautiful park, you know Latin Americans we do not like the cloudy and rainy days, thanks from Argentina.

      Hey Alejandra! End of December and Beginning of Jan are the most popular dates because it's the height of summer and New Zealand Holidays. But the great thing is, if you get tickets there should only be you and the other 40 people who have tickets for the huts. You can never garantee sun in these parts of the South Island but you should have a great chance in summer. We did it at the end of the season end of April and we had only 1 full day of sun, the rest was cloudy, often very rainy! Hope it helps x

    what's the gear you used to film this? :) I filmed the southern half of Te Araroa (ruclips.net/video/_19rcH1tW1I/видео.html if you're interested) with my Sony a6300 plus feiyutech a1000 gimbal plus tripod and am planning to hike kungsleden in Sweden this summer if corona has left us by then. Not sure whether I want to carry that much gear again, so I'm looking for lighter options giving me simmilar results.
