@@wrh41 don't want to surprise you, but Disney is also overpriced faux luxury right in the middle of swampland as well. For the amenities Disney has in almost every hotel, you can get a nicer room for half the price in most every major city or island.
It is a bit ridiculous that the activities/amenities aren't just included with your stay. I just pulled up their PDF list of everything and, when you consider how much you are paying, even for the smaller cabins/tents, the fees to do just about anything worthwhile during your stay make this an extremely overpriced experience.
I love when they visit areas like this and every area in Florida. Because I feel like I'm so immersed and I feel like there with them. Especially in this video I got that camping vibes.
Just a suggestion for those of us not familiar with Florida geography, could you input a map into your vlogs showing us where these types of things are in relation to Magic Kingdom or Disney as a whole?

i feel like thats kinda expensive just to bring your pet. if i was to stay there i personally wouldnt bring my pet if i have to pay over $200 just to have my pet there for a night.
Might be less expensive than boarding or a pet sitter if you don't have a friend or relative to care for your pet. Pet's are people's children in some cases, $200+ would be worth it to those folks. Then there are service animals, etc.. Lots of situations where the money isn't the only deciding factor.
Louise Lyman I don’t think they can charge them more for service animals. (I haven’t watched the whole video) but speaking from experience I don’t think they can legally charge for the dog

Yay, Bandit gets to be part of the trip too! We recently lost our 14 year old mix, but we also used to call any deer or moose that came in the back yard a big dog too while she watched them safely from the back door.

This brought back so many memories for me. My grandparents took my sister and me here in 1982. It has changed a lot since then.Lots more buildings that are way nicer. However seems really expensive and out of our price range now. We went here because my grand dad had a plane and he could fly us right in without having to pay for a car.

Who could possibly think that a hot tub in the bedroom was a good idea...in front of a huge window...next to patio doors?! This wasn't a cheesy honeymoon suite, a birthing center, nor was it in Vegas, so I can't think of a single good reason...

My dog who was 18 and a half years old was put down yesterday, she was my best friend and our family is missing a part of it. She was sick and suffering though and now is at peace. What a cool place, with so many on-site activities! Your video was the first we have heard of it. It kind of gave me Fort Wilderness vibes. I like how even if you choose the glamping option, you still get a private bathroom (even if it is not attached to your unit). I have the website open now and will look more into it. When I was very young Nickelodeon used to show reruns of this old show called Hey Dude. It was about teenagers who worked at a tourist dude ranch. I loved it so much and now my kids watch the DVDs. They always ask if we can go to a place like that! This place is giving me that throw back vibe and I LOVE it!!

I have driven by Westgate River Ranch several times but never seen what was actually in there. I totally need to stay there! I absolutely love the country lifestyle. Those teepees look so cool. I think that is where I would stay.

I love golf carts too! Did you know?, that back in the day, if you stayed at the tree houses, you got a golf cart with the house. We used it to go to a small cheese shop in the area named "Lake Buena Vista". Fast forward 40 years and viola, Disney Springs.

I did the glamping there before for a work thing and it is a great place! The owners are great people!

We loved the smokehouse grill at westgate lakes on turkeylake road, when we visit Florida. But they have now closed. Loved the food there! I really like the place that your at there. Looks so cool x
