don't you also spray the back side of the fabric, let the glue tack up, then lay the fabric down? or does the gorilla spray work differently? what about cutting the notches after it's laid on the panel? for the white sound blocker, some velcro (hook&loop) would work fine; no self tappers necessary.
I’ve seen some people spray it on the fabric as well but felt like it would be to much glue that could leak through the material. The notches are based off the original cover so no need to cut unless you make them to large you can trim them.
