Thanks for a long form, on Yamaha nonetheless! Damn expensive.. It’s amazing I couldn’t figure out if it was a new thing or not as they have similar models from the past that’s aren’t cheap either. They way they lay out the manuals is pretty cookie cutter and simple lay outs the have used for many years now.
That lay out is nice as it’s very straightforward (mostly) so all the manuals I have for their stuff has a familiar feel to it. Of all my kit stuff I think Yamaha stands up to time, it all still functions with little to no maintenance or fuss 30+ yrs no issues.. cheers nice vid sir ❤

You don't get it for free, but I find Yamaha stuff is always worth looking at when you want or need some hifi stuff. I have no complaints about anything Yamaha I own. The lower range stuff is very good aswell.

I use a Yamaha Natural sound amplifer unit from 1982 and it's super nice and powerful. 1/4th as powerful as this amp but good for the speakers I'm driving it with. Just as the name implies 'natural sound' it is very neutral to my ears. I got it very cheap as the phono stage has an issue so I simply disconnected it , was planning on fixing the phono stage but I never got around to it and that's fine since I use my CROWN IC150 as my phono stage.

Where's the ZDR (Zero Distortion Rule)?

It talks about floating. No real mention other than that. The figures are impressively low for distortion.

It does not say. But with Yamaha it will be good.

Malaysia, I think. Seemingly it's their factory and fairly impressive by all accounts.
