Agreed, I would be more worried by a flat reaction from the children, the crying and screaming just shows how pleased they are. Children have not yet learned to control their emotions. I think the new environment scares the puppies more, also christmas tree lights and decorations. We are constantly told not to bring a dog into our lives at Christmas, but sometimes it cannot be helped. My big concern with these videos is are the people who get the puppy. Ready to take care of them. owning a pet is the best thing for kids, teaches them responsibity
FYI kids. When a puppy sees and hears you crying, the thing he, or she wants more than anything else in the world, is to make you feel better, and they can't do that when they are in the box. Please, crying doesn't make you unable to pick up a puppy. So please don't leave them in the box.
A year from now you are going to get a very different reaction when you ask the kids to take the dog out, change the water bowl or clean up the poop. There will be tears!
And to all the people trying to ruin these videos with some comments. If you have children you will learn you dont know if they are going to cry,scream ..whatever they are excited and fyi. I have been there for a couple surprises and the kids will scream and the puppy wags its tail and actually going to them.

My cat is old, and if she passes, my husband wants a kitten, I reminded him that our cats , when kittens, fell from the sixth floor. I want an OLD cat who just needs love! I'm old, we would be great together. But, my sweetheart is still sleeping with me nightly. She's having issues, but she's my girl. Puppies and kittens for OLD people, depending on their health, is not a good choice. Used to have dogs, but know with knee problems, walking them in the winter is not safe. Makes for good videos, but think about whether that person can physically take care of a young animal for another 10 years or more.
