SONIA EVANS Only Fools Never Fall In Love EXTENDED VIDEO

A 1991 hit for Sonia once she broke free from the Hit Factory and the Stock Aitken & Waterman sound. 'Only fools (never fall in love) is very Motown and was penned by former Brotherhood of Man creative team Tony Hiller and Barry Upton; intended for Diana Ross. A top 10 hit in England it would be the last time Sonia would grace the upper echelons of the chart there. I've used the extended mix of the song and re-edited it to the original concept video. There's a bit of synch problem early on but I've managed to sort the rest out - somehow! Warning this video is not for those prone to seizures! This recording has special resonance for me as I bought it in England on my only visit to that country in 1991. The cd single had just been issued and having loved her debut album the year before, I couldn't resist buying it in the HMV store in London. It still sounds great nearly 30 years later!

problem is during these years all producers were doing SAW instrumentation because it sold records at that time. shame this track didnt have more success, its not that bad.
It also is stuck in the 'kylie SAW' sound. I could just imagine kylie singing this. in fact /all/ of sonia's songs could have been sung by kylie, and also Sonia could have sung all of kylies songs, they are very interchangeable in how they can put songs out there
