How To Make a Foam Knife

- Let's take a stab at making our own custom Red Hood combat knife out of EVA foam. This is a nice quick build for beginners and something you could easily knock out in a couple of hours. For this build, I used: 24 mm, 10mm, and 6 mm EVA foam, fencing wire, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, and some silver rub-n-buff. You may also need the following tools: a Dremel with various bits, a heat gun, and an Exacto knife or box cutter. Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see more like this one, from shows, video games, or whatever. Please smack that like button, dropkick subscribe, and share with as many people as possible.
THE REMAINING 3 FACTS FOR THE VIDEO ( sorry it was a short one and I couldn't fit it all in the video without cramming it in):
Knife Fact 8 - Shah Jahan’s (emperor who commissioned the Taj Mahal) Kard Dagger sold at an auction for 3.3 million dollars.
Knife Fact 9 - A hunting knife of Teddy Roosevelt sold at an Auction in 2016 for $414,000.
Knife Fact 10 - In the 15th century when a person went out to eat, it was common practice to bring your own knives.

👊COME ON PEOPLEEEEE LEAVE YOUR THUMB UP This is how Thomas will know that we support him with great affection. 😅 👍
Thomas Is t he Man!!
😁👊 thank you, my friend.
Has to be said my sgian-dubh has come in very handy over the years🏴
So, is there a sheath that goes in the sock with the knife? A strap to hold it up?
Pretty dang snappy. I love watching your multi-part cosplays come together. Mine always seem like a complete battle, with a lot of swearing and breaking stuff in between, rather than an experience to share. *Laughs* Thanks, Thomas!
Thanks. They are a lot of work and planning but sure fun to put together. I'm just glad to know ow that others enjoy what I do.
Thank you always!!! You are so cool!! 🤘💯
Appreciate it
Turned out great, can't wait to see the entire outfit all together! Keep it up brother!
Thanks. I am getting pretty excited about it and am surprisingly close to an end point
Awesome build!
Thanks
You are welcome.
The knife looks cool 😃😃
Thanks
Fire!!!
😁👊
Awesome work man, im looking for metal finish in eva and im seen alot of people using graphite powder, have you tried yet? If so, what are your opinion about it
I have not ever tried it, but I know a lot of people who swear by it.
Quick and easy build, but with my motivation it would still take me a month to make something like this lol.
😄 putting out a video a week, every week, for 7 year, I have become pretty adapted to working fast.
Hi! I was wondering if you have or would make a Puerto Rican or Caribbean machete prop. I'm looking for at least 2 for a fight scene.
I’ve never made one of those before, but the concept and process would be the same as this video. If you are asking if I do commission work, sorry I do not.
@MuchProps oh ok. Thanks! Keep up the good work!
@MuchProps why is the template not available? 😢
The service I used for my templates, Adobe Creative Cloud, stopped providing the share feature. Now I have to relocate 250 templates. Go to my website, www.muchpropsstudios.com, click on templates, and go to the full cosplays. It will be in the Red Hood section. I will be spending most of tonight when I get home, fixing all the dead links

@MuchProps Even with the home court advantage I still rarely get 1st. 😆
How...did knives exist before humans???
Depending on the source you look at, our prehistoric ancestors created knives out of bone, flint, and obsidian 2.5 million years ago. Modern man, depending on the source, is only 160,000 to 300,000 years old. Or at least that is what I found while looking up facts. I am by no means a history expert, it's just what I read.
