Thanks for stopping by! In light of developing stories of Americans being charged for finding ammo in their luggage (Provo Airport), I want to express this video is solely for informational purposes. Please use your own discretion if planning a trip to TCI. Thank you.
This was great! We just got back and stayed 2 nights and a budget resort and 2 nights at a luxury to see which was more worth it. They have the most beautiful beaches!!
Be careful, it’s a racket to get your money or jail you, there’s lots of people who don’t get the publicity that can tell you nightmare stories. Don’t go.
Awesome video! Just subscribed. We are going in June and can't wait. We are splitting our trip with 4 days on Middle and North Caicos and 5 days on Providenciales. You're video was really helpful, thanks.
Thank you so much!! Looking to do daughters HS grad trip!! Your video is Super informative!! Love it! Thank u! Your girls are so cute! Enjoy it, they grow fast
Going for a week stay in October for our honeymoon. Definitely excited but also trying to stay within budget. We plan on taking around 1k in cash and hope thats enough to get around to the places that dont accept cards. We are renting a vehicle for the week as well to get back and forth, so driving on the wrong side of the road will be fun, lol.
Great video guys! I jotted down all the spots and mapped it - we will do the SAME itinerary and bring my bring. We need to plan our time for the day trip. To be clear, the North-Middle Caicos trip was a one-day trip, right? What time did you take the ferry from Provo and what time did you take the ferry back?
Thanks, and great question! We left the earliest time (I believe 7 or 7:30am) and came back the last time slot (I believe 4:30pm). You will want to plan for what you want to visit most. I don’t think you’ll have time for all the stops we presented because we actually took another day trip since we enjoyed North and Middle Caicos so much. I mean, you might be able to see them all in one day, but you would be rushed. And in my opinion, that defeats the purpose of vacation 😎 I hope that makes it more clear and hope you have a safe and fun journey!
@@Spendalife777 Thanks for clarifying that you actually did 2 trips. Good suggestion so we will probably stick to 2 or 3 beaches. What were your favorite beaches - the most secluded and have sandbars? I will bring my drone =)
@@xsicnarfx I liked Mudjin Harbor for the cliffs, so maybe go there (takes about an hour drive and you’ll pass through the Causeway). You can go even further to Bambarra Beach, then work your way back to North Caicos. We really enjoyed Pumpkin Bluff for the seclusion and scenery. They are pretty comparable with shallow waters and maybe some sand bars during low tide.
Hey. Great informative video. Our fam of 4 are going in two weeks and were thinking about the same excursion. Sounds like the economy car (cheapest) worked out great, even for a few dirt roads. On north/middle islands, would you suggest seeing as many beaches as possible or pick a couple and stay longer at each? At some point i feel like they might become redundant, albeit all beautiful!
Yeah great question and assessment. I would recommend picking a couple and staying there longer. You could always play it by ear, but once you find a beach you love, it’s time to just take it in!
Great video, tons of information. I am curious about your experience with an AirBNB, you mentioned adjusting your expectations. We are traveling in Jan 2025 and staying in an AirBNB, should we reconsider our choice of lodging. Can you elaborate on your experience?
Thanks! Yes, I would still recommend staying at an Airbnb, especially if it has good reviews and is better for your budget. Our host was great and kind. She was a local. The thing about TCI is that a lot of the locals seem to be in poverty, meaning things can be more ran down than what we Americans are accustomed to. That’s all I meant when setting your expectations.
Very interesting video and beautiful island. I do have a question though, to get all those points to cover the cost of the tickets, is there any special process for that specific cc that offers a lot of points or is it just regular spending? My current cc offers reward points but to get that much, I will need to collect them over a loong period of time. Just wondering if Chase cc is better... or gives points in a more efficient way.
Great question! We strategically sign up for credit cards when we want to book a bucket list trip ($). The sign up bonuses is what gets us the majority of our points. The standard sign up bonus is 60k; however Chase usually offers 80k one or two times a year for a chance at 20k extra bonus points.
The host is very nice! With hosts in developing countries, you just have to manage expectations. Such as, it’s not a 4-5 star hotel stay, but does the job. Thanks for watching!
Your militant policies regarding firearms and your most recent ridiculous arrests for 4 rounds of ammunition will cause most Americans to avoid coming there at all. This should be a simple fine. He screwed up. Sure. But 4 rounds of ammo and 10 years in prison?? You will never get a dime of my money.
Our trip was completed before any of the recent news concerning the arrests of Americans for unintentional carrying of ammunition. As far as TCI's policies - I agree. Laws are created to protect, not harm the innocent. I hope TCI officials respond quickly from US officials to drop charges.
Pffft. We are going in a few weeks and have absolutely 0 concerns. I'll be smart and I won't be taking ammunition. Great video and makes me even more excited.

Really appreciate the cost details and summary of the beaches. Great job!

We went this year - no vaccine requirements when we went in February. Thanks for checking out the video!

TAYLOR BAY BEACH IS OVER THE TOP...I WAS THERE LAST NOV
Indeed, such a great location. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it!
Hi how is the food there please let me know
It’s good imho. Hemingways was our favorite spot, based off taste.
I would not go there way too expensive!
Can’t blame you there!
Never go there - The National police cannot tell the difference between a mistake and deliberately breaking the law.
Yikes
Are you going to explain this ? Just leaving a comment like this doesn’t mean anything.

Ideal vacation if you like 12 years in prison for 2 forgotten rounds of ammo in your luggage. Not worth the visit there!
Yeah, sad situation there. You’re not wrong!
I wouldn’t go there if I was an American, they’ll get your money one way or another. Jail too
Um....don't put loose ammunition in luggage that you travel internationally with? Not rocket science.
Oh I agree but you know how some scatter brains are. Best be on the safe side
