You’re absolutely right about that Eventyrsoren. I only suspected a waterfall at the end of the box canyon after topographical map study. I had no clue as to all the other waterfalls and rock formations! It turned into an amazing day for sure! There’s another potential waterfall we didn’t have time to get to! Another hike in there is on my list. Thank you my friend. Stay healthy, be safe and take care.
I only hoped for the one waterfall at the head of the box canyon. I saw the drop in the stream on a topographical map and figured it had to be a nice one. Everything else, except for the arch in the hole was totally unexpected. There’s another drop in a different stream we didn’t have time to locate! That means another trip is on my list! Thanks John. Take care, stay safe and healthy.
Thanks Scott. You really should come and see BSF for yourself. She’s amazing! If you need anything all you have to do is ask! I’m always happy to help! Take care, stay healthy and be safe!
Wow that bluff line was much more interesting than i imagined. Finding a way down so close to where we stood was great. Dang it is a jungle down there 😁
Any time is a good time to be in BSF! I especially love the winter hiking. We call it the “off-trail season” That’s when things like we found on this day are located. There weren’t even any human footprints underneath the rock shelters! I love it! Do come on back and explore more BSF for yourself. She won’t let you down! Take care William, stay healthy and be safe.
Such a marvelous area to explore! Incredible to see the effects of erosion!! Well, now, one could really give themselves a great shower there...pass the shampoo and soap please! lol Awesome day!!
Yes, there were plenty of places to take a nice shower! ..lol.. and I needed one at the end of this day! I really had little idea what was around there. I saw the potential for the waterfall at the end of the box canyon by studying topo maps but everything else was a surprise! Honestly, it’s hard to go wrong when hiking up any of the drainages in this area. Thanks a million Bruce! Hopefully Spring will come earlier than expected for you guys! Take care and be safe!
Yep, just after the BSF entrance sign coming in from the west. We didn’t even get to everything we were looking for either. I’ll be going back there pretty soon. There’s just amazing features everywhere you turn! Thank you JayandLin17. I appreciate it! Please take care and keep safe.
That was an awesome day you had there my friend!
The rocks in this place is amazing 😊😊😊

So many cool waterfalls. Thanks for taking us along.

It wasn’t very hard at all to get down from the top, as long as you stay on your rear end! 😂 Gotta go back ya know!
Wow! Thays an amazing spot! It's definitely time to get back to BSF. Great video!

Amazing! I’ll have to try this one when it warms up. West entrance trailhead towards bandy creek?
