I became aware of you good folks watching Dirt Perfect and company. Being an old retired heavy equipment mechanic for 40 years let me tell you I love the way all you guys work. You work safe, you use the right tool for the job, your work area isn't cluttered, you're tools go back to the tool box (clean). I started 3 days ago watching, I went all the way back to your first video and I'm working my way forward. Many thanks for the videos, stay safe, all of your group are a pleasure to watch:-)) :-)) :-))D.R.M. in Texas
Some people learn by watching (me). I learned watching you. I really appreciate your video. So, Thank You Very Much. PS I have a small welding shop so watching you and your business makes me grateful for what I have. Carry On! Mike L
This reminds me why fire dozers are popular on the auction circuit. Even though they are old they are low hours and well maintained. If I remember correctly my agency was trading 5 old dozers for 1 new one. Also its so helpful to have the right tools for the job.
Your not boring Clinton From when you started out with this reskin , i just didnt see it ! The skills you have , amaze me if im honest , and loved watching the process ,and how you made it happen ! Would like to watch more reskins , yes Sir ! Greetings from England !
I really like the fabrication part of your shop work..Keep it coming. Who knows some of the young people might be interested in these kind of things in order to start a fabrication or repair shop for heavy equipment. Thanks for sharing
Great to see very professional work using suitable equipment and techniques. I particularly like that you're humble, acknowledge your (infrequent) missteps, and work hard to be a good dad. I appreciate how you treat your co-workers with respect while still having fun. They know you're the boss, yet they can poke fun in a supportive way. Great channel, with great content!
Yep, you said it…, “there’s not a lot of videos of stuff like this on the internet”…, so it is a treat to see you doing it, and doing it, your as per usual way…, very nice. Thank you sir.
I'm long retired. Have a nice plasma machine on a 20' stringer in leather covers and a 4x4 table. The long stringer allows me to drag it outside and cut something in the driveway. Sometimes on the customer trailer and I get the scrap cuts and they get to drive away. Did a cut job on a massive propane tank that was a BBQ with an over size part that was not useful. Now I use it to catch woodchips if I grind up stuff. 3/8" half circle 48" in diameter. Nice catch wall. Very very nice trim off job on the plasma.
Love the way you & Mr Kevin work together, Kevin makes a great T/A (trades assistant or I prefer to say Technical Advisor) he always knows what you want to do next. Great to see you wear welding jacket & gloves but would be good for you to get a new welding helmet with air filters, helps to cool the head & stop breathing in all the bad fumes. Keep up the great videos.
I love watching your welding and plasma cutting and your videos are right on and so easy to watch and hear you explaining things. As for the loud music I would have to agree, but I know how to either mute it or just turn it down. Loads of videos out there that you could lose your hearing to...lol. So far I haven't seen any video you have done that I didn't love. Keep up with your variety and your instructions and I'll keep passing the word as to where to go for great videos of heavy equipment sales and repair and how you prep things for sale.
Just found your channel from Dirt Perfect. Good job and nice to see a heavy equipment shop that looks like a clean, well run business. I work in a mine on heavy equipment and I know what kind of a mess a shop can get in. Nice clean work! Keep at it!
Hi, A very professional job carried out by a crew who really know what they are doing. I was slighly worried at the start as you did not wear PPE on your arms and as you well know the risk of UV damage to your skin. As a qualified CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector if you need any advice on the use of DPI / MPI non destructive testing just let me know ( although I suspect that you already have this in your extensive workshop set up. ) More on this part of your repair proceedures please!!
Your skills are slowly becoming a lost art. Most people don't know how much work goes into heavy equipment. You should teach apprentices before this art fades away. Your a good worker, your father must be proud. Keep these videos coming.
Great work you guys. Having good equipment and knowledge makes for a professional job done. Been following you for three months now and really like all your videos. Keep it up 💪
Great Job Clint. I really like the way you keep your shop. It only takes a few minutes to clean up behind yourself. You must have started out that way from the start.
No complaints here. Y'alls vids are just fine. As a former Iron Workers union welder (my junior and senior high school years and 1 year after till I went off to Coast Guard boot camp) I definitely enjoyed watching you welding. Not bad for a rookie 😏 Should be a happy customer whoever buys that dozer.
I am not a heavy equipment mechanic but I like to weld and you surely do that, plus, I find your diagnosis and repair jobs to be very interesting. This reskin is the kind of thing I skip around RUclips to find. Nice work!
It would be nice to see more of the work like grinding, bending, and stuff like bolting in the scraper blades,‘it’s not boring and listening to you guys talk is great
Your totally correct Clint there isn't any video on this types of repairs, most the time watch Russian repairs on Excavator booms and complete build huge type of Bucket built, and different styles. The only guy on youtube he a welder , that does some this same stuff. Keep the video coming please.
Great content. You know when to skip the boring stuff. I like the variety of equipment and the insight you have into the workings of the stuff you sell and fix.
Good to see the safety equip with all the weldin and grindin. I was a machine shop instructor in Indiana before I moved to Decatur, IL and worked for CAT 33 yr. Nice weld chair!!! Check out I C Weld down in TX if you haven't already. isaac is a super repair guy. Your attention to detail certainly counters the problems DP had with his first 850J.
Nice job, no wait, beautiful job on the 10' plow replacement blade. I like the way your team went the extra mile to make the top 1 continous piece. Looks more professional. Can't wait to see the finish product. Awesome job Clint
Thanks I am not your average business owner I guess you can say I am out getting dirty and in every aspect of it! But I have a good group of guys helping me also!
Found your channel through Dirt Perfect, I really enjoy your content Because of the variety and and I also really enjoy the fact that you take the time the time to explain . Great channel I'm glad I was able to find it keep up the great hard work.

Great job and well produced video..I first became aware of you over the dirt perfect incident…however how you handled it and the fact that you went the extra to make it rite has me convinced I would do business with you
Glad to see you rebuild the face of a blade - 10 footer WOW! Lots of welding - 💨 fast cutting w plasma cutter too! Really liked watching the big metal brake! Was this face metal AR500 ? Thanks Clinton & Shop Employees!
New subscribers here. I love heavy equipment but the fabrication I've seen in the 4 or 5 videos I've seen is why I subscribed. Very nice "get it done" work.
Now that was interesting i was wanting to see how you fix a damaged blade it was cool the process ain’t easy to get true to use on a job that is going to have a lot of ground shaping and cutting certain grades so straighter is better then the cutting edge go on perfect. I really like all the points of the way that you take to put the new skin on and make it fit to the blade 👍😎🇺🇸NY
Really enjoy anything to do with welding as just got back Into it and got a new multi welder kit. Really like all your videos thus far great content and as usual 1st class workmanship 👍
Welding shields might be a good idea to protect others working in the shop. Stops flash blinding. I have seen them at several of the auctions. Otherwise great job, spent many years cutting and welding in a copper smelter in Az.
I love this kind of stuff . I am hoping your going to have a part 2 so we can watch the transforation. Same as when you fitted that green ripper for dirt perfect. Nice work men. I only need to save up and get a plasma cutter and i will.be happy man. ANDY AUSTRALIA
Never get bored watching beautiful fabrication work.....
love the work OUTSTANDING
Your skill and knowledge show's in your final product. Nice work, enjoyed the video. Time laps is good on repetitive work. 👍
Well done lot of work but worth it good welding on you part.

What I like is that you're teaching your son's how to do all that stuff at such an early age
Clint its a pleasure to watch you and Kevin work. You are skilled in so many fields. Bravo from Victoria Australia

Hey Clinton, When you don't put out a new video - I go thru C&C withdrawals! Watching older videos is good for the soul! Thumbs up! Jim
Yea I'm from Dirt Perfect too. I like the experience shown in welding that piece on and it lifts perfectly balanced.

My God that press brake has some serious force to it. That dozer skin is pretty thick and wide. That’s nuts that it can bend steel that easy 👌😄
Amazing craftsmanship by a master at his trade
It would be nice to see more of the work like grinding, bending, and stuff like bolting in the scraper blades,‘it’s not boring and listening to you guys talk is great

Glad to see how you did that. I usually cut 3/4” holes to weld it onto the old blade.think I’ll try those slots next time and see how that does.

The fab portion I like alot, but also watching the mechanical part helps me pick up on lil tricks or tip bits on a better way to do.
Just keep the videos coming, nice to see a wide variety of content.
