How to Build a Leg Extension and Leg Curl Machine | Home Gym Build

- in this video I turned an old squat rack that we picked up from the trash into a leg extension and leg curl combo machine. I've been wanting to build something like this since before I knew how to weld (when I was like 13) but I never really got around to it. Now about 80% of my home gym is homemade (except for the dumbbells of course lol)
this is a video on how to make a homemade leg extension machine. it's a higher skill level project but definitely possible. in the future I would like to make a DIY leg extension leg curl machine and a homemade DIY leg press machine. another cool project that i would like to get to one day is a homemade DIY squat rack. In the next home gym builds I will be building a home made DIY dip station for my squat rack, catch you in the next one ;)

Thanks for the thumbs up and yeah the design is similar to that of some of the machines made by titan fitness and valor fitness. I came up with it with my own measurements based on pictures I found online

Honestly the only reason I can come up with is because it costed less. I could’ve easily just bought one, but the idea that I could build it, was what I found to be the intriguing part.
