These showcases are great. Thanks for compiling and giving the home gym community more options for getting these movements in.
I can only second that!
I appreciate you saying that. It is a lot of work finding these clips, compiling all the footage and making sure everyone receives proper credit, but it’s worth it.
Love the DIY reviews. There are some awesome creators out there
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy these videos. I’ll keep making them as long as people are watching them.
@@KaizenDIYGym it is a lot of fun to see how innovative home gymers are. It is also fun to try new DIY workouts.
Great info, never thought about using my tib bar for leg extensions. Thanks!
Yeah, it’s a pretty effective way to do it! Glad you enjoyed it
Props to the creatives out there! I like the tib bar leg extensions. I bet I can do something similar with my Havak triads🤔
Please let me know how that works out
I can’t believe it took me this long to find your channel sir, you are AWESOME
Thank you! Welcome!
Sos un grande, miles de gracias y nunca pares de hacer de videos
I appreciate it!
Great content as always. I use a cable machine on a plyo box or bench for leg extensions. My tip is to use an S-hook to attach the cable to the ankle strap, much easier than trying to attach or detach a carabiner . Same with cable machine or landmine belt squats, it’s easier to detach from the S hook, vs a carabiner. Also, I’ve tried the Omnistrap pro, similar to monkey feet. It also has hooks for the cable, so it can help solve the resistance curve problem. You get resistance from the cable at the beginning and from the dumbbell at the top. A bit clunky. I usually just use the cable.
Great vid my man!
Appreciate it!
Oh wow! So many great ideas!
I have to admit, the darkolifting hack does have issues but its home gym diy, i had to try to see if it works 😅
I saved the best for last!
I did this with my golds gym bench and low row machine. Super easy.
Heck yeah bro!
@Kaizen DIY Gym
Do you remember the company making this kind of attachment by any chance you mentioned at 04:45?
I’d like to know as well
Where can I get a cam mechanism like was shown?
That was a DIY but I plan on making one soon and posting a video about it
@@KaizenDIYGymplease tag me here in case I miss it lol
Great video. Can you point me to a video or other resources for DIY inverted sit-ups?
I actually don’t have anything for inverted sit ups.
That amazing, i have a request. I have a spin bike. I would like to build motion handle bars in order to turn it into a "assault/air bike" i was thinking of using pvs pipe and flat bars to make the linkage. But i don't know how i would go about attaching everything to the spin bike. How would you go about it. Perhaps a video to show, i been looking everywhere to find this but i have yet to find anyone that has done something like this
Would be nice to know where you can get a blueprint or something similar for the version at 6:42
I agree. It’s been on my to-do list for a while. One of these days I’ll find the time to make one and post the build process.
@@KaizenDIYGymtake your time mate! Lots of love as always for your effort!
Hey, do you have any videos, articles, or lists including your most used tools for DIY gym equipment? I'm looking to get into it but don't know where to start
I don’t currently have a list but that is a great idea for a video topic. I’ll add that to my to do list.
You forgot mine buddy 🤣🤣
I know, sorry Jonas. I’ll get you in the next one. I missed quite a few that were on my list.
Would love to see a wooden version of the xmark/ titan leg curl/extension machine. If that is even possible.
That would be a freaking cool project
@@KaizenDIYGym4:42 what is the name of the company
@Kaizen DYI Gym what about a 4-1: leg press, hack squat, Pendulum leg press and Calf raises?!?!?!?!?
Sounds like a million dollar idea!
@@KaizenDIYGym you think it's possible?
Since you own the x mark ext/curl, would you say that it is the best non cable version?
I haven’t tried all the others but I’d say they’re all pretty similar. The XMark is pretty high quality.
@@KaizenDIYGym one more question. Just looking at the prx performance leg ext/curl that attaches to the prx pro rack using a swivel pulley cable attachment. Do you have any opinions on this?
chest press, ideally converging chest press video next time plsss
That would be awesome!
Could you tell me which company is selling the leg extension similar to the pulley machine porter Phys Ed one?
I cannot in good conscience support a company who takes ideas from the community without giving royalties or proper credit. This company now has several products that are strikingly similar to things I’ve made and innovative ideas from others that I have featured.
@@KaizenDIYGym no worries all the best!
Danke
Thanks for always supporting!
Why do people not buy used equipment?? I got a valor fitness seated leg curl, extension for $80 used. New it's $350. My entire gym 11 machines cost less than $1k including 500lbs weights and mats, plus 3 cardo machines . Most them were free or nearly free as people didnt want to move them.
Hye, thanks for watching! I answer that question at 2:00
Remember that your experience in life in unique to you. Not everyone has the privilege of living in an area where used equipment is readily available. Not everyone has the available cash or transportation methods and there can be safety concerns, to name a few. Additionally, some people enjoy building and being creative. Creativity has long term cognitive benefits.
How can the Monkey Feet attachment featured on Joe Rogan be missing from this compilation?
Great question! I’ll add those to the next video
I want to be the community DIY Home Gym
Heck yeah bro!
🤣 "Promo SM"
Safest thing you can do - if something heavy is falling, don't catch it. Back surgery for herniated discs from trying to catch falling weight in your 30s makes you look dumb.
Nice pro tip!
@@KaizenDIYGym I learned the hard way! I hope it never happens to anyone else!
