Curious if you're still on prednisone and what dosage. Thanks for the explanation of tapering down to a point where you can exist on the lowest possible dosage. I was so confused about everyone talking about tapering down but I had no idea why someone would do that. So thanks
I think i must be special because i am black African and recently suspected of having GCA. I not even 50. I have autoimmune disease. Where do i get the checklist?
I'm only going to be 44 and I've been dealing with this type of thing off and on for a little while now. I get localized pain that feels nerve-related sometimes in the back of my head and most of the time in my temples and my scalp is awful sensitive a lot of time to just so strange. Didn't make any sense to me but this is all starting to make me think so
@@flazada I have been researching and I believe that a carnivor or keto diet with exercise helps a lot. I am trying keto diet right now. So far the only change I have seen is that my bp has come down to Normal levels. I am not sure if it's because of the keto diet and exercise or because of the medications I am taking for GCA and diabetes.
what about sulfasalazine vs prednisone?
Thank you!! This information is so helpful!
Glad it was!
