@whiskeyisajourney yes, I get algorithms and all, but why it's choosing to single out Arran 10 multiple times is my question. Haven't noticed such a specific drill down in the feed before. Wonder if there's some new activity with the brand that is triggering it? Cheers
Wonderful video as always Peter! The Sip it or Skip it series is great! The Arran 10 is one I keep questioning if it’s a sip or skip for me…..it might just be my bottle but I get a bitter orange peel note that I’m not crazy about and when I see it in a store I’d always rather spend my money on a Deanston 12 or a Craigallachie 13.
Love the content, Peter! You hit the nail on the head with Arran 10, I always enjoy how descriptive your tasting notes are. Can't wait to watch this channel take off!
Thank you Sam. I appreciate the support and feedback. I've said this in other comments from this video, but now that Arran 10 is on the shelf in my local box store I will be reaching for it more. I was in the store today and it's going for $62.00. Let's hope it holds at the price. Cheers!
Love the Arran 10. Great balanced fruity profile. Cantaloupe, pineapple, passion fruit, peach… As the whisky oxidizes, I get all these different variations of fruit as the months go by. A must have in my cabinet.
Thank you Glenn! IMO I think Arran is worth a try. I think coming from Irish and Bourbon Arran will do you no wrong. That is unless you are not a fan of the malt note in Scotch. Speaking of Irish...I did my Irish Part 3 video (coming out Friday May 26th) and I was shocked to see how much the price of Irish whiskey has gone up. I about fell off my chair.
Congratulations on 2k! More than well deserved. Thanks as always for the great content. When I finally got my hands on the Arran 10, I was so pleasantly surprised that it lived up to the hype. I often got a bit of a salty note - although it's faded a little since I first opened the bottle - but that may just be me missing other more nuanced notes in there.
Thanks! 2K got here quick. Let's keep it going! I'm happy to hear that it lived up to the hype. I think it's deserved. Next time I have it I will look for the salty note. Not sure if I ever got it before, but that's not to say that it's not there. Cheers!
I know. Availability was a problem and a reason why I didn't reach for it. Now that it's more available, price is going to become an issue. Creeping into no win situation. I need to just drink it and be happy.
Oh yea.. Arran. I've enjoyed all that I've tried from them with the exception of the Barrell Reserve. Just didn't hit for me. Feels like they were putting something out just for the sake of riding the popularity wave they were on imo. 10, sherry cask, 1/4 cask though, all winners.
Still have to try the Arran 10, i tasted the Arran 13y heavily peated Pinot Noir cask and the quarter cask in a tasting, I found both of them realy nice. In my region the Arran 10 is about 35 euro so it's not that expensive, but for 12 euro more I can buy the quarter cask, I can't decide which one I should buy first (I can't sell the idea of buying them both at the same time to my wife😂😂😂😂)
Why is this scotch trending for me today....not the first review jumping into stream. Good one for sure
Are you a scotch drinker?

Good as always 😊

Well, if you have to make a choice between Deanston and Craigallachie I would say you're in a win win situation.
Congrats on 2K subs! Excited for the future of your channel as it continues to grow. Keep it up! Cheers!
Thanks Richard. I'm excited to see how the channel grows going forward. I appreciate the support. Cheers!

I agree with you. The Arran 10 is a sweet, vibrant and "Hard-to-put-down" summer sipper.
Now that I've seen it in my area I've been reaching for it more. Good summer sipper.

I agree. It's a must have. Cheers!
Such a great starter Scotch without being simplistic. Sip for sure!
100% agree with that.
Cheers 🥃
Cheers. Happy New Year!
Congrats on the 2k subs, Peter! Well deserved! Might have to look for the Arran 10. Mostly been into my Irish and Bourbons lately though.

I really enjoy the Arran 10, but tried the Quarter Cask this week and fell in love. Such huge flavors.
I'm really looking forward to Arran's new sister distillery for peated Scotches, Lagg. Can't wait to start seeing it show up in a few years.
I've only had the 10, but looking forward to trying others. I am definitely looking forward to the Lagg. Bring on the peat!
I love the whole Arran line! Good succinct review. My only complaint is that I've started seeing it inch up in price now that people know about it.

Excelente whisky.sin colorante y sin filtrar en frio. Una destileria pequeña ..y a buen precio. Esta tremendo
..saludos desde españa...
Gracias. Es una buena alineación por el precio. ¡Salud!
Congrats on 2K Peter!! Keep em coming!!
Thanks Freed! Onward and upward! Cheers!

@@FreedsFirstTime_Whisky_Reviews I'm hoping to see more expressions from them in my area, but right now it's just the Arran 10 that I have had.

Well, buy one for you and one for her. Or Father's day is coming up. Maybe be gifted a bottle. Cheers!
@@whiskeyisajourney that's an idea! :😜
i absolutley love it
It is a staple in my collection and a rock solid pour. The terms "everyday pour" or "daily sipper" describes this to a tee. Cheers!
The Arran 10 is really great, always on my shelf.
Keep up your great work.
Best regards from Denmark
I like it as well. I would like more offerings, but I've only seen the 10 in my area. Thank you and cheers!
@@whiskeyisajourney the 18 is amazing, I hope it will show up in your area and if it does don't hesitate to pick it up.
Loved ot
It is an easy one to love. Cheers!
