    Funny to watch Jordan poker streams. King donk. Glad he’s coaching spraggy someone whose game is already on point. Hopefully it all went in one ear and out the other.

    I’ve had to take a break for the sake of my bankroll and sanity lately, running bad and playing even worse lol. Will definitely be considering signing up to BBZ if/when I return, always seem to learn a little something every time I watch one of these.

    I feel that the blocker unblocker concept is over used in decision making and pop think it sounds cool to say it 😂

    It looks easy to play a gto player. If they 100% c bet on certain boards you can play perfectly against them.

      You would lose all your money in the long run vs 100 procent gto player

    Really important question. Is this just for tournament play or is this also effective cash game strategy?

    • @ernestevans6672
      @ernestevans6672 11 месяцев назад

      Jordan mentions an adjustment for larger stack sizes you may want to rewatch it to find that very short statement

    • @Alex-yv4vr
      @Alex-yv4vr 11 месяцев назад +1

      He mentions how stack sizes affect decisions. So cash would be the "larger" stack sizes, as in 100bb. ICM always has some of an impact anyway for tournament, which is not the case for cash (as far as I'm aware)

    • @bb-zt8ve
      @bb-zt8ve 11 месяцев назад

      only applies to mtts really. bb preflop range is a lot wider in mtts so you should cbet vs bb a lot more in mtts then cash

    Great Content! How does position affect the "no straights, no broadway" strategy? In the example at the end, you are OOP w/Top pair, good kicker on board where straights are possible and it is 8 high. I can see check raise here since you would want to check based on the strategy. However, what if you are IP? In position, is it OK to cbet for value with your 8 top pair? The flop is dynamic and your top pair will probably not be top pair in later streets.

    • @BBZPoker
      @BBZPoker  10 месяцев назад +1

      The IP player here will generally find it more difficult to have top pair because they aren't opening off-suit 8's from this position. That being said top pair will be a more comfortable cbet at shorter stacks (like the hand you're inquiring about) but more difficult at deeper stacks. Hopefully that helps!

  • @apocluca

    I like the content. But i fail to understand if this is only a chip-ev analisis. All the hands we saw are considered in a vacuum. We don't know if we were a high icm spot or if we had a particular read on the opponent we were facing. There are a lot of variables that we have to take into account, valuating what gtow says it should be done doen't mean spraggy made a mistake 100% i think, but i am open to opinions

    • @BBZPoker
      @BBZPoker  11 месяцев назад +3

      You would be right if the hands were pulled arbitrarily (but they're not). We do know we aren't in an ICM adjusted or heavy risk premium scenario. I've filtered for all the hands by blind level deliberately to avoid high blind level scenarios. If you look in the top left corner you'll see these hands all took place at low blind levels. They all took place close to the beginning of the tournament where the correct math model for the game is approximately CEV.

      Mentoring or coaching isn’t showing someone an answer, it’s teaching how to figure out the answer themselves. The student taking the lead in technical discussions is a sign of a job well done.
