I genuinely can't believe what I just heard. That could've been the best musical performance I've heard in many years. It "checked all the boxes" for me and though I've never even heard of them until 8 minutes ago, I'll be looking for their music.
Rachael Price.... Straight voice, no Auto tune, no echo or reverb... Just natural ambiance of the room and her WONDERFULNESS!!! Falling hard for this lady.
An exceptionally beautiful singing voice. I love the fact that the musicians provided the perfect amount of space and a grounding landscape for Rachael Price to paint on.

I had eaten an edible and i have no tolerance so i was pretty in the zone and this was transformative to witness. her voice and control is so perfect its as she recorded the chorus once and replayed it each time. its so rehearsed and so perfect each and EVERY time she performs this song you couldnt tell the diff. what a vocalist.
Deliberate, disciplined, retro soulful, with a wicked band and singer that's absolutely amazing.....took me a long time to discover them but I'm making up for it as of late 🎶😁

LSD is an antidote to the toxic environment we live in today. Great music, played with a deft touch, a lot of heart and soul and even a sense of humor and fun. Their fans reflect it too- the people who comment on their videos are positive and respectful of one another I don't care who you are, where you come from, what your politics are or what your opinion on representational vs abstract visual arts is- if you like LSD, we're cool. I might think you're wrong, but I believe there's hope that you'll come around to the "right" answer, or maybe I'm the one who will come around. Bless LSD and their fans.

I like the vocal on this version better than the album. All of her riff choices match the bluesy foundation of the song - no Broadway hints on this version. Great voice, can do anything which makes it even harder to pick the right thing to do. Nails it this time.
Sometimes songs aren't fully explored for all their possibilities yet when first recorded, but being on the road doing a lot of shows allows you to find what you relax into on different parts sometimes. I've found this with some of my own songs/experience. Then wish I could re-record stuff as the band gets it down better.

This band and others like them create music with actual melodies that separate them from the awful tribal sounds of distorted warbling, screeches, chants, pounding of drums and cacophony of electronic instruments in rap music and contemporary pop culture styles.
Someone once described Diana Krall's voice as "whiskey with a touch of wild honey." Rachael Price as melted chocolate (the good shit, of course) is spot on.
