The Hornsby/Kahn original is exquisite and will ever be so. That said, Rachael Price's reading with the LFH band adds a touch of swing and her voice is one of the few that can stand up next to Chaka Kahn's. I loved it.
I have yet to hear any song she has done that I don't like. She has a timelessness in her voice that should be heard by more people but meanwhile I'll keep listening and enjoying her and the rest of LSD anytime I can.
Just found you a few days ago...where in the hay I have been?? What a voice...no a golden voice...holy Toledo batman...wow baby girl, you are outstanding!! I'm glad I found you...!!!!! The old dude from NC.
I don’t think it’s a glitch unless you mean a glitch in her vocal cords. She pronounces the word you perfectly throughout the song except when it’s preceded by the word do, it’s always do goo. I’d love to know why.
My type of music - my type of singer, pianist, bass player! The only slight aspect of this performance I'm not so keen on is the rather strange fast tremolo effect on the guitar, but this really is me nit-picking - thanks guys, a really tasteful version of this song.
That's Chris Thile, the master mandolin player and this is his show. This is a radio show with a live audience so it's very much a radio format which I rather like.
She has a beautiful rich singing voice that sounds effortless. However, she sings this song emotionally flat. The jazzy changes don't seem to fit. The original Chaka Khan/Bruce Hornsby version is a gem.

She is superb. Nails every emotion and every note.
How can you not Love her still? I think her voice just keeps getting better, more refined.
...one of the best voices in a generation...
Her tech icaldetailsare as flawless Asher embouchere
Thank You Chris bringing joy to your stage to share..
Love her still, and miss Live From Here aka The Prairie Home Companion.
Beautiful song. No matter what she sings, Rachael is brighter than the sun.
How do I forget how insanely good she is between performances?
Just discovered Rachel today and life is good.
In the words of Rik Mayall
I'm not crying there's something in my eye
Rachael is fantastic! But that two killer notes starting the piano solo... gosh, they move me to tears!
I don't know how I am only just learning of Rachael Price, but now I am making up for lost time. Everything she sings is absolutely beautiful.

There are no words to express the beauty of this song, and this singer
It doesn’t get any better than this.

R p has got style! When I hear her, I know!!! Beautiful 🎵🎶🎵
Rachael Price peut tout chanter. Charisme, simplicité, une voix extraordinaire.

Such a shame I never heard of Rachel Price before! These musicians are fabulous also, but her voice blends so well!!!!
Brilliant in every way. Thank you.
....except for the word GOO that I thought was just a baby's first sound....lol
Awesome! Just Dayum Awesome! Rachael keep on singing girl!
She is such a talent x
Wow! Just ... Wow.
Love you Rachaeeeel….!!!-)
Shivers
Very interesting version
I listened to this 7 times before I realized there was anything other than vocals and drums.
Brett Hudson
Don’t forget the Bass, Tremelo guitar and of course the Piano...
do goo love me still?
great hornsby cover!
That's what I thought. How does 'you' become 'goo'?
ya, it's a glitch.
btw, yt has the Hornsby version w Rachael singing, and, surprise, i prefer that one, esp the piano & their 2-part harmony

Haha!! You're right. What the heck?
❤❤❤

😊💖🐶🐶
Superwoman x xxxxxx
Why is the singer not credited?
I thought 'GOO' was just a baby's sound?? Nevertheless, beautiful voice...
Here is a full piano cover version! → ruclips.net/video/eGbynbgM6LI/видео.html
Do goo love me still?😂
💗🌈💗🌈💗🌈💗🌈💗
no you're crying
Rachel is amazing but the substitution of "goo" for you is rather puzzling.
Better than original.
Who is the guy? He disrupts the vibe by picking sheet music from the floor??? Very distracting!!!

Beautiful voice but she's not feeling this one. It needs a more pure less jazzy voice.
