Trying to think of what that door transition animation reminds me of... it's Castlevania! With much more cutesy designs for everything, of course. I love it. The lag in this game seems to be pretty bad, though.
I used to beat it in 30 minutes when I was ten years old. There's definitely some tricky parts, but nothing a lot of practice can't get get you through. :)
Well, it is a CURSED restaurant, so who’s to say they don’t just reheat microwave dinners for the guests? Edit: Why did I think toaster = microwave 🤦♂️ Probably doesn’t stop them though

The only glaring flaw I see in this game is all of the enemies are food/cookware except for the lawn chairs. How'd those get possessed?

Animated fried eggs and sexy carrots I can understand, but why are there *toasters* in a restaurant?

Restaurants use toasters. Although not typically the pop up kind unless it's a very low volume. They mostly use a belt fed toaster.
