What size wire should you use for crochet flowers? There are so many different gauges and the only ones that I find are green.
I tried the florist wire, like you said too. It was too flimsy for my flowers, so I went to Lowes and got some steel wire that had a 18 gauge with a 25lb rating. Probably overkill, but I didn't want it to not work and then have to buy a 3rd type of wire. Downside is that its silver and not green.
I'm so sorry for the late reply. I use 24 gauge wires for all my flowers.I find it easiest to work with.
