- Today I wanted to make a quick optimization guide on how to reduce your input delay and fix stuttering in Geometry Dash(; and possibly boosting your
FPS and performance along the way). I've been using Timer Resolution for years now and people have asked me many times what that program was for, so I felt like the community had no clue what I was using. This video will clearly explain what it does and how it helps for pretty much every game including Geometry Dash.
In this video I briefly explain what Timer Resolution does and how to set it up. A lot of people think that simply downloading the software and changing the Timer Resolution is all you have to do for it to work, but you've been wasting your time all along.

- Always run Timer Resolution as Admin (also; to make sure you don't get any compatibility issues, you can change the "Compatability Mode" to Windows Vista in Properties

How To disable "Synthetic Timers" on Windows 8, 8.1, 10:
- Open Command Prompt (cmd) as Admin

How To disable dynamic tick (Dynamic tick is a power saving feature for laptops):
- Open Command Prompt (cmd) as Admin

This tool patches x86 executables in order to let them have 4GB (instead of only 2) of virtual memory on x64 platforms. This tool comes very handy for applications which need a great amount of virtual memory like games, 3D renderization, multimedia etc. To gain these 2GB, you just have to use this tool to patch the executable (*.exe file) of the software you want to have these additional GBs of virtual memory. It can be used by clicking on it and choosing the file or through command line (e.g.: “4gb_patch file.exe”). It automatically creates a backup copy of the original executable.

This video is old but i wanted to say thanks, i already had a gaming mouse ajd i thought it wouldn't make much of a difference if a used set timer resolution but my default resolution was 10 ms and not it's set at 0.5 ms and the game is considerably more responsive

edit: got it working. just had to uninstall and reinstall cuz ReShade was messing with jt

if you close it, it goes back to default. You can minimize the software in the background.
i have 0.1 for the first one but then i paused the game in gd and then it completely made everything laggy and its so annoying could you make a video on how to fix that please

I have 144Hz monitor and a very good gaming mouse. Even with 0.500 I get extreme input delay in some levels. Necropolis for example, or Bloodbath first ball part...Conclusion: MY HOUSE IS CURSED
Clean your computer, check if it has any virus in it and try to play on low detail mode , and also you can play it on windowed mode and lower the resolution, usually the game lags less this way

When im doing this bcdedit /set uderplatformtick yes it shows this is inncorect command (i was running this as administrator)

I know a way to reduce delay on android (This works on mainly Samsung and other phones)
1. Go to settings
2. In the search bar just search "Touch and"
3. Tap on touch and hold delay
4. Go on custom
5. Quickly tap two times and when it reaches exactly 0.20 ms, press save and done!
