I never got on these. I use the Babyliss trimmer and it’s like the holy grail. My battery is starting to not hold a charge but I’ve had it for 2 years now. Great video!
Hey there! Thanks for a really quality video. I was about to buy a Gamma+ Absolute Hitter for balding my head (well, half of it) but I have heard it has some problems for this type of cut. Would you recommend any cordless timmer to balding ? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Do you want to go to skin or close stubble? For cutting the hair low I would get a balding clipper. Trimmers aren't made to do the entire head. Some will but clippers will do so faster and last longer.
@@carolinabarbershop Thank you for an answer! I am going to trim my head once a week (two times at most), I would like to trim as close to skin as possile without need to use the shaver. I am aware that most trimmers are not meant to go with whole head, but maybe there are some that will last for at least a 3-4 years (it will be fine for me) ? Nowadays I am using an old Moser 1400 clipper and I am very tired of using it - it is heavy and really bulky to use for me.
Great video dude. Is absolute hitter still working well??? And if i take the bulk with my 0 of my clipper and then apply the absolute hitter with the upward motion , will it still pull hair?? Or with this amount of hair will clean it easily???
It is working well, but it is not my go to trimmer. I prefer the JRL 2020T. To answer your question about hair removal after using a 0. I find the Gamma works best in reverse motion. Not upward. With the logo of the blade facing you. It really depends on hair type if it pulls or not. Talc applied can be beneficial though.

PLEASE help - I just bought the Gamma Absolute Hitter, should i get the ceramic blade if all I do with it is trim my head really short no size on or keep the stock blade?
FYI They recently made the absolute zero 50% stronger and improved the hitter with a better blade and some more minor bells and whistles such as different colored buttons. As far as the price going up, they just lowered the brand new backordered Evo’s by $30 for some reason so it goes both ways at times although I’m unaware of why they increased it in that particular case. Definitely recommend shopping around as the company site and Amazon will generally be pretty high. (I have connections to Gamma/Stylecraft just to be fully transparent and so you know I’m not just giving you false information) As far as the company naming there isn’t supposed to be a difference in quality like a Toyota vs Lexus it’s actually a legal issue of some sort is what I was told, I forgot the exact reason why. Most products should have pretty much the exact same features though across both lines with the main difference being the traditional pack in colors that are respective to both brands. I do know the Stylecraft version of the Alpha has some slight differences like the click lever that some people prefer though. Glad you are happy with your Gamma/Stylecraft! When were they stronger? The ones I got were brand new. I just got a set like 3 days ago. Everything is identical. Would be nice to be able to verify the validity of the statements. I mean how would anyone know which version they have?

I believe they are just fazing out the old ones until inventory runs out, while that’s not how I would do it the new ones come with the colored buttons which would be the easiest way to tell the difference because they just threw them in for free without putting it on the box or anything at least the one I saw. The new absolute zero I’ve been requesting a demo to try out because a 50% increase in power is quite a bit so with all the new products and accessories I haven’t gotten my hands on one yet. If you just recently purchased them you’ll likely be getting the newer versions. I believe the new Absolute Zero comes with the same foils as the wireless prodigy which are different than the earlier editions.

There's a power line on the button ( no color) and no audible beep. The writing on the blade is different. I will compare them and post the video. Carolina's Barber Sounds like you got the new one. Look for the buttons it’s possible they only did that for Stylecraft but the blade seemed different to me as well. I’ve heard it’s a good improvement over the first edition models. Yeah 50% more power for the upgraded Absolute Zero.
That is explained that it should be taken down first, because of this. Other shavers have the ability to go through longer stubble, hence the formation of this very test. Put it through the paces to see what it can and cannot handle.

I use the Gamma Prodigy and Babyliss FX3 shaver both about the same.
Can't be saying they are pulling when you didn't even knock it down with the trimmer first... That's step one
