DLCs always need to break the story. Shadow died in sonic adventure 2, if they gonna add him to the game everything is gonna be different. Basically it's impossible for them to make a DLC just for Shadow. edit: I said bullshit
Hazard not that much, but Dark Gaia definely is more epic, there is all this built up and the fact that the battle is literally in the core of the planet, and the orchestra is simply too beautiful, but gameplay wise, the titans easily are better than any other boss in the series.

If I was to feature Shadow in this game, I’d probably use Black Doom/Doom’s Eye instead of Sage, because Black Doom can send Shadow to gain the seven Emeralds. This way, if Black Doom decides to rule the islands, Shadow can transform into Super Shadow to defeat him.
I think Shadow and Sage would be good Friends because they both were created by certain Doctors/Professors Shadow was created by. Professor Gerald Robotnik and Sage was Created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik! (I would say Eggman but In the Egg Memo in Sonic Frontiers he said "Sonic Gave me the Name Eggman")

I can’t help but imagine there would be a DLC story mode for Shadow and Silver. The story premise would be the same. The only difference is the characters they would save for every island. Like for instance, Shadow would save Rouge, Omega, and Metal Sonic. Silver would save Blaze, Vector and Cream.

Nah, Silver shouldn't need to save Blaze. She'd probably be the one saving him tbh. Besides, the two have pretty much no connection outside of a game erased from the timeline, so it wouldn't make sense if Blaze was there. It would have to be an extreme coincidence that not only Silver is in the present at the same time as Blaze visits Sonic's dimension, but also happens to somehow have gotten herself trapped in cyberspace while Silver is at the Starfall Islands. Blaze would probably have the same situation as Sonic, being able to escape cyberspace, because she's his dimensional parallel. It wouldn't make sense if she got trapped in cyberspace for Silver to save
We need to petition Sega for an official Shadow DLC now! His chaos abilities would work PERFECTLY with this new combat system.
