Neta X and S will be coming to Thailand and Malaysia.. Neta has joint venture to set up factory in these two country. If can pls do a review on Neta X as well. Not much review has been done on this car in English. Thanks
Tell me about it. I sat in a dealer's Neta V once and it was a pre-facelift version. My god. The dashboard looked like it was an aftermarket part that taxi drivers fit. Watching them recently has been like watching evolution happen in front of your eyes.
Hard to do them on my own, though I'd love to. Honestly, getting two competitors at the same time is hard enough. I have pitched it to Ethan before from Wheelsboy and he said only if it makes sense, so I guess we have to find a way to make it make sense.
Really nice looking car, with great spec. If it comes to the UK, it will be interesting to see what the price will be. IF they could sell it for £28,000 to £30,000 they would sell loads of them, we shall see! A quick question, "The place you were filming - no cars or people"!!!! Like your videos, keep up the good work.
It's a beautiful car and really well equipped. I hope they get to the UK. The filming location was on roads at the back of a kind of trade park, so nice and empty for filming without distraction. Kind of necessary when you're a one-man team.
Really nice. Really sleek, sporty nose and reminds me of those years of "pop up" headlights nose design. I like those non intrusive gas struts rear boot lid but is a pity that no spilt folding rear seats.
Just started watching. That ch3mtrail caught my eye in 1:35. So they do ch3emtrail in China too? 😢 How intense is it in your opinion comparing to west? Please don't tell me it's contrails lol. Or clouds. I studied meteorology, and even if I didn't, I know how clouds look like. Or used to look like 😉 Great looking Neta BTW, gonna continue watching. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed watching. Should focus on the car more. I have no idea what the trail was, whether it was a plane trail that's smudged with wind or something else.
Neta is gaining yourself name in Thailand with that funny little model. New showrooms are appearing throughout Bangkok (not as many as BYD by far though). Not sure how this model gonna sell in hot and sunny thailand with that fishtank roof. Let's wait and see.
I drive a Neta V. Was around 16k usd and has been flawless. I use it on Phuket Island and I only need to charge it once a week. Around $7 to charge the 40kwh battery. 14,000 kilometres has been excellent.
Tough call. I prefer the S for looks, certainly, but I think the E8 edges it in other areas like the chassis, performance and interior. I'd take the rear seats from the S though. They were pretty lousy in the E8.
Ha.! 6.9secs 0-100kmh is considered slow. So 6.5secs 0-60mph. I've lived to see the day when hot hatch acceleration from only a few years ago is now considered sluggish in a family saloon. 😊
hello ... i love your videos but there is one thng you never show,,, the frunk of the cars ,,,could you please also start to show them,,, keep doing the great job you do :)
What surprises me, is that anyone could ever be surprised about the next 4-door salon EV in an seemingly endless line of boring 4-door saloons/sedans or SUVs for that matter. It would be a surprise is the bring a (for the EU) affordable 2-door hatchback or coupé. Designers are braindead windtunnel robots.
This one is better than a lot of others out there but I get your point. I remember maybe a decade ago an article in Autocar asking if all cars would end up looking the same sure to really specific regulations on nose heights, headlights, etc. They may have been onto something. As for the 2-door coupe, may I interest you in a Neta GT?
Maybe tens of thousands of car models have been made, it's impossible if they don't look similar to each other, so it's better to judge which one has the higher value for money.
@user-hx1op1gq7x Nope, UK is on miles instead of kilometres, and we also use gallons instead of litres, though our litres are marginally smaller than those in the US. We're a confusing people.
no i would not take this chinesee junk over passat ., it looks nice here but reality are other story especially with higher insurance costs ,parts, electricityx on chargers costs more then fuel , possibly fire risk ....
£25k for the top AWD version is nuts, that thing would sell like hot cakes in the UK if they could get it here for that price
It's incredible, and such a good car.
Neta X and S will be coming to Thailand and Malaysia.. Neta has joint venture to set up factory in these two country. If can pls do a review on Neta X as well. Not much review has been done on this car in English. Thanks
Damn. Definitely an a big step up in terms of interiors compared to its earlier versions.

Many nice touches! I feel 60-40 folding seats should really be implemented.
Definitely. Sure it can be done even with the backrest adjustment.
Another great video
Thank you very much.
Why don’t you guys do comparison videos? There’s so many new Chinese EVs that it would be nice to see how they compare to each other directly.
yeah imagine the chinese EVs drag race, maybe he could get Ethan and China driven maybe elliot too! like carwow of china
Good idea,

@JetsetDruid I've suggested it to them. They weren't too interested unless it makes money.

It's a great looking car this. Best from the front I think, the back could be sharper to reflect that nose more, but overall quite stylish
Another very interesting car to consider!
Definitely. They've got a shooting brake version coming too.
OK, I've decided. I want a Neta S "coupe" NOT the Neta GT !
Can u ask Neta for the coupe version of S ?

Lovely car. And yeah, I try to film the driving shots in quiet areas to reduce risk.
@@InsideChinaAuto Very well done! 😁😁
Im really invested in the Neta GT, however, I believe when it comes to Europe the price will easily triple :\
Oh, 100% likely. We can dream though.
Shipping costs to Europe are already very high! plus the high entrance fees the prices end up being crazy..lol
@@agusedyanto3324 They can use the train now from Xi'an to Europe. That'll reduce costs.

Interesting vehicle.
Really is worth a look.

Really? It should have been lined up. Not sure if it just didn't play back right for you. I've had that on RUclips videos before.
Nice!! The blinking thing looks very much like a Tesla!! Elon Musk should be aware of this car because it’s going to ‘outTesla’ Tesla!!
That might be a stretch too far for it, but I'd take it on looks definitely.

What's going on with the front number plate?
Think somebody biffed it before me as there was a scuff on the front right corner too.
When is it releasing to the public?
It's already out in China for a while now. I think their other markets like Thailand will get it soon. Hopefully they'll break into Europe this year.
