Are chinese cars in general softer sprung? I want a nice A-B car but the germans always toss me around on the street. ET5 comes as a wagon, P7 with scissor doors and 800V? Living in Sweden 🇸🇪 got interested in the cars over there due to your channel 😁
@@cheungchingtong yes I've found german cars over the last 20 years to be too stiff for normal use cases. I just want comfort but not too soft like my dad's Cadillac from the 70s 😅
@@_TrueDesire_ I owned a 640i before, I know what you mean lol. Chinese brands like Geekr and XPeng tune their chassis a bit harder than NIO, and BYD tunes the softest, but overall Chinese EVs are meant to be softer in general because people in China more likely tend to like it soft, especially for family uses. But I really don't know how soft is it as your dad's 70s' Cadillac,🤣 so I think you should go book a test-drive for NIO first, I believe it would not be difficult for you in Sweden, go google NIO house. Then if you find it soft, go up for the Geekr and XPeng, otherwise the BYD. But if you can wait, maybe try Avatr or Hiphi when they land on Sweden, highly recommended.

Nah the average chinese auto worker makes just 12-15k so this aint affordable at ALL. A tesla model 3 performance though for a us auto worker making 55k is affordable. But dem cheap Chinese evs mannnnn. 😅
The bad thing is that these cars when they get to Europe, at least those models that are coming, magically go from the hypothetical $31k to €50/60k ... Such a car at 31k € would be great!
Why the GT does not share the aggressive front of the S is a mystery to me . The GT does look rather lackluster compared to the S. I would like to see a sporty Estate version of the S for Europe. Of all NETA models the S is the best looking. I must however note that the renewed V looks far better in the rear.
3.7 sec 0 to 60 is Porsche territory, for Renault clio money. Thats impressive. If they can save on the "safety" features and the oversize screen, and spend on the fit and finish, this car will be a winner
HEY ETHAN 👋😃////////////////// i have to admit that this NETA GT IS A STUNNIG COUPÉ.......GT..........beautiful chinease design. i love this and in black it is impressive.
The right number of doors, good looks, good range and a great price. If this came to the UK I would buy it, probably just the 2wd one. This is what the main car companies should be making, what people have been begging for.
Right? We're just getting overpriced cars with the power of an entry level combustion engine. Why would i pay $35k if i can pay $10k for the same snall family hatchback or crossover with the same power, plus having the downside of having to wait for half an hour when doing long trips
Sorry but that title is incorrect. Rolls royce spectre and maserati granturismo folgore are 2 doors ev currently on sale, like the neta GT. Also, the ronin GT is joining these 3, and that's the only cabrio here.
Specter and Folgore aren’t on sale till later this year, and the Ronin GT, if it ever actually goes on sale, won’t be arriving till 2025. But I’ll clarify the title by adding “affordable”.
Not withstanding I love Thier external looks. I am in west Africa.Ghana. every a new car catches your attention so hard,It would be a Chinese model when you get closer to it.
Maserati might have some issues with "only electric grand tourer" from the video title The addition of the word affordable in the video makes the statement true though
31 k usd for a coupe Ev. That is 43k cad before incentive. It just fit nicely between the model 3 and bolt. Full the niche of a segment of sizable market.
No chance this will come to Canada with our current anti-China government 😢. Most likely option is to import from Mexico if it ever gets there as that's really shaping up to be a massive Chinese EV market. I'm looking to do that with the Cyberster potentially.
@ Buy the car now and wait a couple years before there’s a decent local dealer network? Try getting any Lotus serviced in any country today and you’ll see the service experience is terrible. I’ll keep waiting. Tesla, which is over a decade old has notoriously HORRIBLE dealer service. Why would NETA be better?
Thank you for the nice review wheelsboy, you gained a subscription! Small question, do you have any way to know from the specs or maybe to test the weight distribution of these cars? I would appreciate that. Curious to know the weight distr. of sportcars like this or the mg cyberster :)
We don’t have a way to test that, so we can only rely on what the manufacture provides. In this case, sources claim it has a 50/50 weight distribution.
always amazed on what China able to release recently, but this wasn't it, the headlights looks like it's stolen right from C8 corvette, the proportion is way off, wheel fitment is not much better too, if it's not because of the cheap price, I'm not impressed with this one, even a BRZ, and Miata have better proportion, and a similar size Supra or Nissan Z also look better, and have better proportion, the interior look amazing tho, especially for the price
